The Ballina Heritage Inn is located in a very convenient location being within walking distance of food outlets, Woolworths supermarket and the walkway along the river. We were greeted cheerfully upon arrival and were also offered helpful advice. The room and bathroom were clean, although the exterior base of the shower screen does require extra attention. While there was a microwave available, it had to be retrieved from the bottom of the cupboard to use it. The bed was comfortable and there was ample parking.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation right on the main street of Ballina. Terrific location near the river and and just a few hundred metres from the cafes and restaurants. I had to check in late but it was very easy and convenient process to do so and I was very glad of the nice room after a long drive down the coast late at night. I enjoyed my stay here very much and would gladly stay here again.

Nothing - it was all good and I hope to be back one day!

Our family studio apartment was well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. Our beds were very comfortable, and the linen & towels immaculate. The convenience of the location on River Street (the main street of Ballina) provided easy walking-distance access to shops, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets.

Some of the skirting boards and the toilet and bathroom doors were a bit grimey - but nothing a firm wipe over wouldn't fix. This wouldn't stop us staying again, but it's correction would show excellent attention to detail.

The fact that this wonderfully pleasing to the eye establishment is based on the main Street, River Street, in Ballina and perfectly positioned directly opposite Ballina's entertainment centre, the Ballina RSL, meant that it was just a very short hop, skip and a jump to the welcoming doors of the Ballina RSL where breakfast, lunch, dinner and entertainment were completely at your service. With the mighty Richmond River ever so close to the motel that supports a lovely boardwalk and footpath that hugs the river's edge for kilometers, whether you are walking freely on a motorised scooter or push bike, this is an incredible way to explore Ballina. Aside from all of the sightseeing compliments, the room itself was well equipped with microwave oven and coffee/tea making facilities with complimentary yummy tasting, packeted cookies. The room was super clean and dust free. The beds were super comfy and dressed in fresh smelling and feeling linen.

There is nothing that I can say that I did not like.

We are a young family of four. The attention to detail was excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room immaculate and the staff very attentive. The tv was large and good quality, everything worked as you’d hope for.

Its location isn’t perfect if you’re visiting for a beach holiday, but it’s close enough to walk to shops and facilities otherwise. And it’s close to the highway which makes it a very convenient place for a quick stop over.

The only negative was that the pillows were too high and as a result I woke up with a bad headache. We went and bought a twin pack of pillows from Woolies down the road. If you need to do laundry it's $9 per load to wash and dry (2 x $2 for washer & 3 x $1 for dryer, $2 if you don't bring your own laundry powder). You can get the laundry powder & change from reception.

Good size room (very high ceilings), quiet, comfortable bed boarding on soft, clean, excellent shower / shower head / pressure. We were coming off 7 nights of camping with only options being cold showers. A hot shower and not having to camp in wet weather were great. Centrally located with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance (2 -3 blocks).

The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Good location on the main street, easy to find the motel, easy self check-in after hours.

The parking spaces are quite narrow and we couldn't get our vehicle in due to other cars parked over their lines, so we parked on the street. I know other customers said they liked the beds, but for us, the beds were too soft. The second bedroom didn't have air conditioning and it didn't cool down enough from the air going in from the main room.

Although it was a little dated, the facilities were good. Plenty of room on the vanity for makeup, toiletries etc. shower was good. Table and chairs for breakfast. Location was great.

The only thing we could fault with this property was it needed a door between the bedroom and the vanity area for privacy and so as not to disturb anyone if you had to turn the light on during the night.

I have stayed here in numerous occasions and as such know it well. It is a quality hotel at a good price . The staff are excellent, the place is clean and tidy and has enough room to feel very comfortable.

The only issue I have is that the Media system needs updating to include access to Apps such as Stan, YouTube and the like.
