I was impressed that Cheree went above and beyond to make our stay as it was promised and paid for. We were upgraded to The Hallows and it was perfect, quiet, relaxing and homely. The other guest's (tradies) were so friendly, protective and accommodating. My daughter and I felt very safe. The Hallows is old, has history and the feels but if you're someone like me who loves and appreciates that then it will be an incredible stay. We enjoyed the Games room too. It has everything you need. The key lock box was easy enough to access and return on leaving. We loved our stay and the Winter Festival 🥰

Our air con unit was old and not working properly yet Cheree provided us with an alternate heater which was perfect. The Netflix was assured to work yet didn't. Not a major drama for us, we just watched free to air instead. The Bathtub plug was a bit tricky as the plug hole was damaged but again fixed easily enough.

The king bed was clean and comfortable and did not sag and we were able to enjoy sleeping with 2 pillows each. The room was large enough to be comfortable and there was enough space to lay and unpack to large suitcases. The motel was conveniently located near a pub which served a good standard of pub fare and drinks. The Ben Chifley Motel represented good value for money.

Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Around the bathroom window and on top of some cupboards needed to be cleaned. The interior just felt a little tired and could be improved with a good coat of paint.

The beds were very comfy, lovely telly with free wifi and Netflix YouTube available. Nice gym pass type door lock, very easy so there was no fumbling for the keys. Interesting painting on the wall! Great topic for conversation. Full body mirror was an excellent feature, plus extra pillows and blankets, aircon worked a treat. A nice little section outside for smokers. Great tea coffee & biscuits avail and a little milk in the fridge, and the complimentary cotton buds and cotton rounds in the bathroom were a very nice touch! and a 2 minute walk to to service station was very handy for a midnight ice cream run.

No extractor fan in the bathroom was a little frustrating, hairdryer was tiny and a little dated. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head. .................. . . . . .

Very comfortable room with close proximity to all things we needed. I left something behind and after emailing them, they were very quick to assist.

There was an unopened condom under right on the edge under the couch. I would expect that it should have been picked up during the clean, so although the place was overall very neat and clean, this stopped me giving it the best rating.

Our second time staying here except without our kids this time being just a quick over night stay so we got to experience a different room and upstairs this time and i just can't fault it just like our last stay.. The room was clean bed spacious comfortable, and a great price friendly staff and just all around a great place to stay. This is definitely a first choice of stay when going the Bathurst.

Only down fall is having no sink to wash the dishes in the main room having to use the bathroom sink to do so. Upstairs balcony found it difficult taking luggage down the walk way with the table and chairs taking up most of the room.

Tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Large TV Screen. Lots of storage in bathroom for cosmetics etc. Had a good nights sleep, it was quiet. Handy location and great pub only a very short stroll from premises.

We had a bath tub with hand held shower. Whilst we were okay to step into the bathtub, an older person might find it a bit difficult.

The quirky decor of the rooms and the very large bed. The kitchen facilities were more than adequate and the very large pool looked impressive, but with the overcast cold weather, no one ventured into it.

Difficult to be concise, but the very soft plastic plug for the sink did not work and any movement of water moved the over small plug and emptied the sink.

The Room was very clean and tidy noting it was the family option so a larger room. Beds were great and the kitchen was appropriate. The bathroom clean and tidy. The manager was polite and very helpful. we enjoyed our stay.

Whilst the Room was clean and comfortable the Bathroom could be a little bigger and shower head higher. This is not to say it was not liked just if a Reno was planned.

staff were helpful and friendly. We discovered our room hadn't been cleaned from previous guests when we checked in, however the reception upgraded us to a different room and it was resolved quickly. Comfy beds and quality feeling linen.

Wi-Fi was often slow or not working, and although generally clean, closer details like bathroom tiles don't get wiped down regularly.

Easy check in, spacious and clean room. Great shower with excellent water pressure. Bed comfy and microwave, tea, coffee and toaster provided if required Reverse AC was a bonus as it was quiet a cool night and we were able to warm up the room.

Light outside the room in the walkway did unfortunately reflect into our room, would have been good on a timer / motion timer to avoid this.
