Room was spacious and comfortable, recently renovated so well above normal motel standard. Our room overlooked the garden and trees at the back, had the weather been a little warmer we would have enjoyed our morning coffee on our balcony. Quiet despite being close to the town and train station. Excellent continental breakfast included, i avoided the coffee based on previous reviews and enjoyed the tea.

It's still being renovated which didn't bother us as the room and breakfast area are already done, and we were warned in advance. The motel was excellent value so I suspect the price reflected the work underway. No lift to the upper floor, again no problem for us but saying here for others.

Everything within the room and in the dining areas where clean tidy and well appointed

Pleasant comfortable motel

It is time for the motel to invest in a coffee machine as most other hotels and motels do these days. The only coffee I could see at breakfast was warm filter coffee which was lacking in flavour. When I mentioned it to reception I was informed that I could have purchased 'barista coffee'. Unfortunately, no one offered me this option at breakfast and I did not notice any signs.The only person I saw in the breakfast room seemed involved in clearing tables. Also I did not enjoy having a large TV screen blasting Sky news at breakfast. It doesn't seem to fit the image I was expecting of a 'Boutique' motel. There also seems to be an issue with water escaping from the shower.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a quiet park so there was no traffic noise. The motel location in the main street was within very easy walking distance of all of the shops, cafes etc. The motel staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the continental breakfast.

We expected to find more information about the motel and town , but there was no compendium of information in the room and only a few leaflets in reception. Jojo’s lounge is very nice but only appears to be used for breakfast at the moment- there was no information about it being open as a bar or during the day. The plunge pool looked nice but is very small.

The location was great. Right on the main street across from the donut cart. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were lovely. Great for a chat and very polite. We just had the Continental breakfast but we all were quite satisfied and walked away full. The room was a little bigger than we expected. It fit 2 single beds, a queen bed, a 2 seater lounge and a 4 seater table setting with room to spare. The bathroom looked modern but the fan doesn't really suck out the steam too well. The pool was great for the kids. It was about 1.5m deep. Not super big, but there were 8 of us in there with out getting in each other's way. When we come back to Berry we will be sure to see if we can stay here again.

The clothes hanging line in the bathroom wouldn't pull out. More of an annoyance, but the front staff must not have known that the lounge is actually a fold out bed. So my youngest (7) slept on the lounge, which she fit on just, but then the day we were leaving I looked under it and realised I could have pulled it out and she would have had a proper bed.

Central to the shops, right in the heart of Berry. Very clean room and the pool was refreshing after a day out exploring. The continental breakfast included each day had a wide variety of fruits, cereals, pastries and gluten free options. Although I am not sure if there was a dedicated toaster for the gluten free bread. Towels are available for the pool upon request and housekeeping daily was a nice touch. Friendly staff who were more than happy to answer any questions and even knew our coffee order by the end of our stay! We booked an extra night. I was so relaxed and didn’t want to leave.

The King Spa room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a room upstairs, facing the rear of the building and our balcony had a view of beautiful trees. The facilities in the room were great, particularly the coffee making machine and the king spa. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Liked having a kitchen sink to use for coffee/tea making/washing up. The location is perfect, we parked under cover and walked to explore Berry. The breakfast was good too! The staff were friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable.

I think that the breakfast could be described as very basic there was nothing wrong with it everything was fresh and tasty however my understanding of a continental breakfast is there is supposed to be cold deli meat cuts to put on toast's but there is plenty of room for growth and improvement but it was fine and I enjoyed it the staff were excellent helpful and courteous with any questions asked

There was nothing that I didn't like the only thing that frustrates me is trying to mirror your tv to your mobile device but it's basically the same everywhere I go

The location was ideal, pretty much in the middle of the village. The reception staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Onsite parking made it easy to load and unload our luggage to get settled in. The room inclusions were all working and clean. The room was comfortable, cozy, and clean. A continental breakfast was included in the price, so it made an excellent start to the day.

The bed was too hard and we woke up a few times because of the discomfort. Anyone with delicate backs may find the same problem, but this shouldn't be an issue for fitter people.

The showers are amazing. The staff are lovely. Beds decent. Location perfect

The heater/ac isn't super strong. It took a long time for the room to heat up. The Continental breakfast was good but an Orange Juice option would be great too. My room didn't have an electric outlet near the bed, so it was difficult to charge my devices and use them as an alarm near me - not the end of the world as there was other electric outlets in the room elsewhere
