At my reservation it didn't mention that breakfast was included. I was pleasantly surprised when I learned upon arrival that not only breakfast was included, you also get a free drink of the house! The swimming pool is large, there's a sauna (no idea what kind) and there are washing facilities that are all included. It couldn't be more perfect. The room was clean and spacious. The 2 kings were perfect for us as a family of 4. And the mattresses are super comfortable. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. And the fridge in the room is big enough to fill it up with our groceries. Price/quality wise I rate our stay 10/10.

Nothing!

- Rooms were clean and so were the surroundings. - We were able to spend some quality time at the backyard where they have swimming pool, BBQ area, lawn tennis and basketball court etc. Even indoor pool table. - For breakfast, they were able to offer few varieties for food, so vegetarians can eat.

The only part that was little lacking was to be able to calculate the number of people for breakfast. On our second day, we (3 families) reached 1 hour earlier before the end time and lot of items (that vegetarian could eat) were ran out. However non-veg items were in ample amount.

Pillow gave me a headache. Bed was good though. The ‘smart’ TV was difficult for a 70 year old to navigate - it took quite some time to even get a full-screen image. Far too complex for a one night stay. It should be simple to use. Coffee and jug was excellent. Walking around the complex from room 25 to the pub dining room was a long way after-hours, as by 5.45 pm the office doors and internal access was locked. I had to walk all the way around the complex to get dinner, then all the way back after dinner. What a phaff!

The office being closed at 5.45 pm when your advertising says “…if arriving after 7.00 pm you will need to go to the pub bar…”

Value for money ,hot buffet breakfast included each day was great .The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet as it was located at the rear of the building away from any road noise.Parking in designated spot outside room. The room was serviced each day.Swimming pool very refreshing and towels provided at office. Receptionist very friendly .Used our 2 free drink vouchers for Barista made coffee.Walked across carpark to Pub bistro for dinner.

Nothing that stands out. We enjoyed our stay

The room was good, spacious and clean. We stayed in the back so it was very quiet. The breakfast was included and had a reasonable selection of foods. I found the pool to be very clean but basic, and getting in and out was challenging as the only 2 ladders were in the deep end and one was quite wobbly. The free vouchers for drinks at the pub were great, a nice touch.

The pool was not very user-friendly. The pub section needs updating as its very dated and worn.

The shower was excellent, bed very comfortable. The room was very clean and we had a great sleep very quiet. We were initially offered a room on what we thought would be the noisy side of the hotel as it was on the main road. They quite happily changed our room to a room that we thought would be quieter. Staff were very informative and cheerful. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. Parking was plentiful and the meal at the hotel next door was good value for money and conveniently located to the hotel. There is a Dan Murphy's in walking distance and the hotel is in a very good location. I thought the cost of the hotel was very reasonable for the facilities provided and would certainly stay there again.

I would have liked two comfy chairs, we could have got a second chair as offered in the information sheet we were provided but as we were only there for one night we didn't bother. There was only a wine glass and I am a scotch drinker and my husband is a beer drinker so a glass for him and myself would have been nice. The hotel kindly gave us a schooner glass and offered me a tumbler when we were having dinner there but I was ready for a cup of tea by this stage so didn't worry about it, apart from these very minor things no problems at all would certainly stay there again and happy to recommend the hotel to anyone.

We return to this hotel because we know the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms good. The location is ideal with the bar and bistro so close. Even though it's on the highway noise isn't really a problem. Included breakfast is a bonus - especially as I wasn't expecting it to be hot food in addition to the usual continental options. Having the toilet separate from the bathroom can be handy. Vouchers for a free drink a nice touch.

I didn't have the exact change that the barista needed for me to have a cappuccino. The jug of milk next to the urn wasn't cold and there were only paper cups provided for tea and coffee. Maybe a pod machine, either in the room or at breakfast would be nice. The empty plant pots on the walls outside the rooms were spilling water onto the tiles making the walkway a hazard.

Motel good for price

The actual resort stated dining room which was the NightCap at Archers pub situated in front of accommodation. The outside of pub was unkept and dirty to the point of scary. The inside of pub was smelly and entrance door was broken and needed hinge repaired. The stay at accommodation warranted a 2 complimentary drinks. We had one drink and sat outside which also stunk and left. Accommodation fine but hotel attached disgusting.

Reception staff excellent. Lisa was dealing with an obviously difficult person on the phone but was so kind and patient while apologetically trying not keep us waiting. If was past closing but she didn’t hurry and so helpful. Corrina the next day was also extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast staff were constantly cleaning and had great attitude and attention to everyone and every detail. Breakfast was really good both days.

Bit noisy (road noise) also pub patrons could be heard returning and talking outside our room. Water dripping on tiles from aircon felt unsafe. Hole and dark stain on bathroom ceiling. Would have like a tea towel and face washer in room.

The room was immaculately clean. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was amazing. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The complimentary drinks were much appreciated. This motel was better than most I have visited in recent years.

If we were to stay again, we would definitely request a quieter room away from the highway. Neither of us slept particularly well as we would wake up intermittently. We both also prefer a mattress you don't sink into as much.
