The room (No. 1) is very comfortable and well-equipped. The bed is very comfortable with good quality linen. Whist the weather was very poor for our stay, had it been fine, there is a small outdoor area where you could enjoy a drink and snacks. The bathroom is small but very carefully planned and good quality toiletries are provided. A bonus as we’re travelling for a long period of time is the seating area which means you can watch TV without having to sit on the bed! Great property, I recommend it.

My room was quite small but cleverly designed, so that it included not just its own bathroom but also an alcove with a fridge and kettle. The decoration was stylish and minimalist, which I like. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was good quality and there was both aircon and a ceiling fan. The room was at the back of the building, so it was quiet, and it was just a short walk to the centre of Byron.

I would have liked more place to store clothes, even a single shelf would have helped. The road was quite busy.

Toilet is too small and extraction fan in the shower was too noisy and a bit old. Housekeeping for longer stays was not clear. We read the policy about only doing housekeeping after three days for longer stays, but on the fourth day that was still not done. When we asked for it they were nice and asked what did we want for housekeeping, and improvement can be to do it proactively and not ask the customers what they’d like to be cleaned.

Location was excellent - even though it was a main road it wasn't as noisy as expected. Only a 10-minute walk into town. Staff very helpful and easy to communicate with. The room I booked was very small but perfectly laid out. You could tell they had considered everything. It was decorated beautifully. Airconditioner was great. Bed comfortable. Even though it seems a little expensive for other areas, I think for Byron it was good value (it is incredibly expensive all over this time of year).

Very minor but a little shelf space by the bathroom vanity would have made it perfect.

excellent accomodation for a short stay in byron bay, garden view room was super cute and had a very bohemian feel to it which really made us feel like we were on holidays! location was amazing, a short stroll to the main town, ubers were super easy to order at ay time of the day and night also. Nick was super helpful, always making sure that we had fresh clean towels for our stay.

Although bayhaven lodge was superb in every way, the garden view room which sleeps 2 people is maybe a little bit too cozy in the sense of space. Perfect for a 1-3 night stay, otherwise the lack of storage room because very apparent.

The property was in a great spot on one of the main roads into town. I didn’t have a car and walking into the main part of Byron was about 10 minutes. Staff were responsive via text message and provided clear check in details. While the room was very small, it had everything I needed for a 3 night stay.

The rooms are very close together and I could hear noise from the neighbouring room (eg exhaust fan, shower). While it didn’t bother me, some guests may find the small size of the room a bother.

Location was great. Walking distance to town and restaurants. Room was beautiful, very cosy and well laid out. The garden area out the front was beautiful, peaceful and the windows must of been double glazed as we couldn’t hear a sound Would stay there again for sure. The check inn was very well organised with an email with all the details sent to us before arrival, very professional.

The location was excellent, just a short stroll to the main street of Byron. You are on a main road but it feels really peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and modern and had everything we needed. The check in process was so seamless and incredibly easy. The property is great value for money. We would happily stay there again.

Nick was a very welcoming and friendly individual. Was amazing from the moment we met. The property was incredible and just what was needed.

There is only two things I want to flag. First is there was a used hat underneath the bed and the floor was quite dusty underneath as well. Lastly it seems the previous guests before I checked in have damaged the wall in the bedroom, where the door is located once opened. Not sure if it has been seen but wanted to flag just in case the previous guests before me have damaged the property (quite sad when it is an incredible property to stay in) That does not take away how amazing Nick was and how great the property is! What a lovely find: a few minutes walk to the main street and beach. A small room but impeccably clean and smartly, tastefully designed, with everything you need. A comfortable bed, a neat bathroom with walk-in shower, a clever hidden 'kitchen niche'. No space for a chair or table but there is comfortable seating in the front garden with a lovely fountain and outdoor shower, screened by greenery from a busy street for privacy. Efficient check-in via SMS, very responsive staff, although we never saw them. There are also bigger rooms with seating and garden-view window but ours was in the back - no view but quiet.

There is no parking, can park on the street but must pay between 9am-6pm ($5/hour, 4-hour limit which applies everywhere in the center). The parking restriction zone ends at the next intersection going outbound but it took us a while to figure it out despite SMS instructions. Also, there will be construction on the adjacent corner lot, which has not started yet.
