WOW - What a find The Beach Shack is. We were travelling as a group of 5 couples - we wanted our own space but also space to be able to be together and this is exactly what was provided. Fantastic venue, beautifully appointed with all the extras you didn't realise you needed but were very much appreciated - soft towels, beach towels, bath robes, well-appointed rooms, comfy beds. And breakfast - was beautiful and different every day - so much food it almost lasted all day. Veronica is the most welcoming host and is an delight.

Nothing - it was the perfect stay

The location was excellent, and the staff member on reception and housekeeping was delightful and extremely helpful. The Beach Shack was ideal for my needs. I stayed in two different units during my stay and both were very nice and well appointed. I plan to stay here again.

In the first unit I stayed in, the air conditioner was not functioning well and was unable to cool the room adequately on a hot day. In both the units I stayed in, the lock had broken on the screen doors, meaning I needed to sleep with the glass doors closed and locked in order to feel secure. In the room where the air conditioner wasn't functioning this meant a hot night. These issues can be easily fixed.

What a cute find in Byron Bay! Great little, cozy hotel with all the amenities you need to have a perfect stay! Veronica was very easy to work with in securing the property as well as checking in and being available for anything we needed. Room was very comfortable…bed was amazing, great updated bathroom, cooled well, very nice to have tea station with milk, sugar, and OJ for the morning. Great location….can easily walk to town or beach within minutes. Highly recommend!

Internet can be very slow….but it is like that all over town! Byron Bay isn’t equipped to deal with thousands of visitors on their limited network. Everything else was perfect!

Everything was fabulous. Ned and Adrian have thought of every little detail to make sure your stay is perfect, and they have the most exquisite taste which is evident in every small, personal touch - from the fresh daily breakfast to tips about restaurants and activities. The location is amazing, the facilities are wonderful. Ned and Adrian are dream hosts (seriously, they make the best breakfasts and cheese boards!) plus they are lovely, genuine and friendly people. They went out of their way to make sure every guest was looked after, and work tirelessly to maintain the beautiful property and customer service level. I can’t wait to go back, and can’t imagine staying anywhere else now (seriously been spoilt by Ned and Adrian!)

The location was absolutely prime, 10 minute walk into town! The room we had was spacious and extremely well designed. I even took photos of the bathroom so my future renovations can look the same! The little addition of coffee, fresh orange juice and croissants in the morning was a really nice way to begin the day. I have already sent the location to my parents so that they can come and stay later in the year. Thanks again and hope to be back soon!

Great private modern villa. Close to shops and beach. Lovely pool area. The host managers were lovely.

Milk supplied would of been handy. Also when we booked included was a free breaky which was why we had booked this particular place and the reviews were amazing . But sadly the owners had since stopped providing this.. wish we were told this before we arrived, as we were waiting in the morning for it. Made it a bit pricy with this not included.

My stay at the Beach Shack was an unforgettable experience. Ned was not just superb and friendly; he made me feel like I'd made a new friend. The breakfast was exceptional in both aesthetics and quality, elevating the entire experience. This place isn’t just a location I’d love to return to; I wish I could live there! Thank you guys!

Absolutely nothing! All was great. My experience at the Beach Shack was so great that it left me longing not just for another visit but for a life in Byron Bay! If you're looking for a place that offers impeccable service, delightful culinary experiences, and an ambiance that makes you feel right at home, the Beach Shack is undoubtedly the place to be.

The location is in a quiet street, a short walk to the beach and the centre of town. The location was perfect for being peaceful without all the noise of a busy street. The property also has charm and character. I was travelling alone and found the apartment had everything I needed: a fridge, kettle, cutlery and a lovely little patio to deck to chill. The owners were lovely. They accommodated early/late check-in and checkouts and prepared a lovely gourmet breakfast served every morning at your door. It was a special touch and something rare these days. I enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

The Beach Shack is an amazing little gem hidden away from the hustle & bustle of Byron Bay's CBD and main beach, yet close enough to walk to most of the beaches, restaurants, bars & retail! Not just a spacious room, but in a separate building with an attached decked, set with a lounge, cafe table & chairs. There is coffee & tea in the room, along with a morning gourmet breakfast served to your room! I will definitely miss that knock at the door, opening it only to see Ned with our tray of goodies! Hospitality at its best!

Home away from home. Spacious,clean, comfortable and peaceful. Veronicas hospitality is fantastic. I like the well equipped kitchen and bathroom with a nice tub and the location is tops - 7 min walk to Byron centre ! Abd then the little extras - banana cake and cookies so good !!! Will be back soon … 3rd time !
