A breakfast was not included. But we were fully aware of that. It wasn't a problem since we love the Sunday Sustainable Bakery on Jonson Street a short walk away.

The narrow spiral stair (though we understand it had to be narrow to fit the unit). But the noise (the creaks, etc) it makes when walking up or down it is annoying, especially during the night where the racket may wake the guests in the adjoining burees. Also, the outdoor shower, which can be unpleasant for many. We stayed during winter when the wind was howling a gale and my partner refused to step outside to use it, resorting to wiping herself down as the bath took a long time to fill.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, huge spa bath, with lovely outdoor shower - super private. Well equipped with all you could need for a lovely couples getaway with very authentic Balinese styling. Highly recommend anyone wanting a chill getaway which feels like you are in a rainforest. Under floor heating was a huge PLUS!!

TV in bedroom and felt like it would be better placed downstairs, although in reality there just isn't the room. This is not a negative, merely an opinion on our stay

Wonderful quirky place to stay. Bed was comfortable plenty of room. Loved sitting outside having drinks on the patio. Fab shower which was located outside. All in all it was a good stay

Only one small thing - the fans made a noise when they were on at night - so we did wake up a few times in the night with the clicking noise they made each time they went around and cause we had to switch them off - the room was very stuffy and warm

Great accommodation. Just the fact that allowed us to book for only 1 night during the Easter Long Weekend instead of forcing us to spend at least an extra night already deserves all praise. The location to catch the bus to the festival, easy parking for our car and the 2 bedrooms in the Birdsong buree were everything that we needed. We had an iguana visiting us both days, and the wonderful birds singing around us were everything! We loved it.

We didn't spend enough time to enjoy it even more.

Super cute! Very small but perfect for our one night stay travelling through to Brisbane. Outdoor shower was chilly and strange getting naked outdoors but was private and nice hot water. Quite liberating. Didn’t get to use the huge spa bath. Very simple kitchenette but had what we needed. Bed was cozy and the robes were a nice touch. The heated floors was a nice surprise. Lovely staff on arrival. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Tiny fridge but fine for us for one night.

We have been here 4 times before, we live the Balinese feel of the bungalows. It’s a short walk to town too. We love the relaxed and peaceful stay and the architecture.

Just a small fix. I think it might need a little TLC, like the outdoor garden near the pond is lacking plants. It used to be a lot more dense in the Made bungalow now it’s a bit sparse with a lot of dirt. Also some of the rocks are missing on the pathway which could be fixed, a bit safer. Otherwise the bungalows are holding up well.

Garden Burees is located outside Byron Bay's main tourist area in a lush residential neighborhood. My room was actually a large studio apartment with a well-stocked kitchen and a pleasant view out the back. The town's pubs and restaurants and its world-class beach are within easy walking distance of the hotel. I spent two nights and really enjoyed my time at Garden Burees, especially the moment an exotic turkey-like bird walked into my room and stayed for a few minutes! I recommend this hotel for a short or extended stay.

Beautiful villa, clean, tidy, loved the outdoors theme, the water feature, the spa bath. It was just beautiful. Also, we didn't catch the lady name at reception, but she was an absolute delight and wanted to thank her for taking care of our laundry for us. She was a pleasure to talk to and went above and beyond and would like to give her 10 stars if we could!

Loved it all. I would just say a tea towel and extra teaspoon in the kitchen would have been useful :)

This was such a stunning place. We loved our courtyard and outdoor bathroom… we could have spent the whole time just lounging there and not even leave the accomodation. It was actually very quiet considering it’s proximity to the campsite. The staff were gorgeous.

The loccitane bottle in the bathroom was refilled with very strong smelling detergent/soap. I wouldn’t even care or think to mention it- but we noticed it was used as a selling point/highlight in the info brochure in the room.

Location was BEAUTIFUL!! Filled with beautiful water dragons and other critters and animals. We really enjoyed them popping by to say hello. Also the look of the actual room we stayed in was stunning. Great for a couple.

The only thing I could fault was the dusting and walls. Like on the fly screens on windows need a good vaccum and dusting the fans and if possible, the upstairs roof. As one with allergies this made me sneeze a bit. The walls just where previous guests may have splattered something or not cleaned correctly, mainly in kitchen could have a good scrub. But I won’t let that fault my experience. It was still wonderful!
