I booked the Teepee which caters for 10 people. It suited me well having booked the Bluesfest close to the date. Everyone kept to themselves, there were all ages including families and the cafe has a great coffee and food selection. It has great common and outdoor areas to eat and relax. The bar is nice to chill as well. Make sure you book a blanket for your bed as only sheets are provided. There is a storage cupboard provided under the bedhead which you can lock with your own padlock. As I was returning around 2.30 am from the Bluesfest I found there was a staff member on reception if you needed anything.

We had a fantastic time at arts factory. Great people with an even better community! The different events put on by the hostel kept us busy every night and the cafe was great for food and drinks. We ended up extending due to such a great time, the reception staff were amazing and super accommodating. Nicole in particular was so lovely and helpful! Overall such a friendly place to stay and super social, we would definitely recommend and if we are back in Byron anytime soon we will 100% be coming back to arts factory!

Great hostel, very relaxed. Attracts very respectful and interesting people. Rooms had plenty of space, bedding comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff, great facilities. Regularly cleaned and maintained. Community vibes. Great Cafe and food options. Felt right at home with grounded and conscious individuals, less "party" vibes, which I prefer, yet plenty of entertainment and options for fun if that's what you're after 😊

Rooms are warm - I travelled in November and the humidity is high. There is a ceiling fan and windows, however, it was still pretty spicy.

My room was very comfortable and it had lockers available for me to leave my valuables. The hostel counts with awesome common areas such as the swimming pool, hammocks for you to chill, picnic tables, volleyball court where people play and are super friendly to invite others, they have cinema nights, and the best receptionist in the world, Mr. Pickles!

The kitchen closes at 10 pm, however that is understandable.

Incredibly chill vibe, staff feel like friends, the wildlife and scenery of the hostel makes you really feel like you're living in Australia, that's for damn sure. Huge location to explore which is quite unique from any other hostel I've been to. The people and community is what makes it the Arts Factory!

The staff could do a better job at removing people who do not stay there. Sometimes I felt uneasy by the presence of some people who you could tell didn't stay at the hostel. A bit more proactiveness there but no other complaints.

Beautiful hostel! Perfect for backpackers as it’s really affordable and super easy to meet people here. The kitchen was really well equipped and big and the bathrooms were nice and clean and good hot showers :) the reception staff were so helpful with recommendations and easy check in process. The dorms were a good size with lockers provided and there are lots of room options depending on your budget. The events and workshops are so cool and include things like the big talent show on a Monday, trivia night, movie night, yoga, bracelet making from grass and more ! It’s a short walk into town and you can reach everything by foot easily.

Arts factory is the most beautiful stay !! The staff are so helpful and lovely (Nicole you were so helpful with our luggage storage issues as our bus wasn’t leaving for another few hours ) Thank you, Thank you, Thank you… We stayed in the small teepee and found it perfect , great amount of room and amazing for meeting other travellers! Would 100% recommend. We also met very lovely man ( who we think helps run the hostel) who helped me find lost and found, after loosing some shorts and was so lovely about it ! Thank you all so much for such a lovely stay !

One of the few hostels in the area where you really feel like you're in a hostel, with all the social interaction that goes with it! The jam evenings are my favourite - what a great atmosphere, what great people to meet, what a great time. I love the hostel café, and the staff are so friendly! There are enough showers and toilets for the number of guests. The beds are comfortable. Nature is very present in the hostel, making it a unique and inspiring place.

The hostel is in serious need of cleaning, especially the communal areas, lounge, bathrooms, terraces and kitchen. This would justify the skyrocketing prices of late. The rooms seem clean enough. The addition of sofas/beanbags (in the garden or on the ground floor terrace) and chairs (upstairs on the terrace next to the kitchen) would not go amiss either, as there is a lack of places to rest or simply to be able to eat at the table without looking for a chair to sit on. A blanket for guests sleeping in the teepees would be great, as the nights can be cold (beware, during the day, the teepees turn into ovens).

I had a great experience at Arts Factory by Nomadas! The service of the staff were so frendly and professional, I just used the space for my tent and it was nice. I forgot my shoes and I wrote them and immediately they replied to me the communication was great. I'm really happy with the service there and would definitely recommend them!

Just improve in the cleanness of the bathrooms in the tents area.

We booked the private room and it had everything you'd need- kettle, fridge and sofa The bathrooms were always super clean and staff we're really friendly and loved that they had an onsite cafe

Kitchen facilities were always abit dirty, could do with a couple more microwaves but other than that no complaints
