We stayed five nights in a third floor one-bedroom apartment in a good location right in the centre of Byron Bay, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The apartment had a compact bathroom with good shower, washing machine and dryer, and a combined kitchen/bedroom/dining/living room area with flat screen TV. The kitchen was quite well-equipped with glassware, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, fridge freezer, kettle, pod coffee machine, electric cooktop, microwave, oven, toaster, and dishwasher.

We found our bed a little too soft for comfort – but that is just a personal preference thing. We noticed the parking is not secure as the gate is open during the day. At night, when the gate is closed, anyone can still access the garage via the building entrances which are unlocked all day. (Keycard accesses are not activated.) Note that there is no lift in this complex – so if you have mobility issues you will need to request a ground floor apartment. Otherwise, this is a great option for a central Byron Bay stay!

Great spot in Byron Bay and quite a large 2 bedroom apartment. Only one bathroom, but has a separate toilet. Nice comfortable beds and a large kitchen. Overall a great stay - we had a single friend with us, so it was a little awkward with the single bathroom, but would be absolutely perfect for a family of 4!

A little dated, but that is not a problem really. It was difficult for my guest to book in even though I had put her name and details on the booking. I had to pull off the road while driving and send a message through booking.com for them to allow her to book in. That is fine, but could have been stated up front so I could prepare for it rather than having to find a parking spot in the middle of Brisbane to send a message. There was an extensive online booking form requiring quite a few details including copies of drivers license.

Great location, short walk to beach. nice and quiet, great sized apartment, tidy, kitchen had everything needed for cooking, aircon in every bedroom & living area was great! free undercover parking also a bonus!

There are big palm trees alongside the building, at night there were storms with winds that blew the palms into the side of the building, the banging loud enough to keep us awake. the palsm are beautiful however perhaps they coudl be trimmed in a way that the fronds close to buildings don't hit when blown. It would be great if the kitchen could stock some pantry staples, ideally, cooking oil to save having to buy for shorter stays.

Upon arrival, I was nicely greeted at reception and quickly checked into my apartment. I was even offered help with getting my luggage to the apartment. The apartment is large with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. Additionally, there is a nice patio with a 6-seater table and chairs. There is a combined bathroom and laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The bedroom is also spacious with more than enough closet space and a comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equiped with a large fridge and a coffee maker (pods and milk are provided). The place is very clean. The framed pictures of Byron Bay on the walls are lovely and a nice touch, along with the tasteful furniture. There is a large carpark underneath for guests only. There is also a plunge pool which I did not use since the beach is so close. The hotel is within walking distance of everything and there is a wide range of great cafes and restaurants and other retail shops in Byron Bay.

Unfortunately I had loud neighbours and even with everything shut, I could still hear them talking and opening and closing their doors frequently. This is not the hotel’s fault but it did distract from enjoying the apartment more. The plates and coffee cups in the cupboard above the fridge are not the easiest to reach.

Excellent apartment, heaps of space for a family, hige balcony, bath tub! air con and fans in each bedroom. Location was superb! Large bedrooms, all areas were extremely spacious. Plunge pool was great as we were just a stairs case away from it!.

We did feel we had to keep our laughing voices down when on the balcony, as the balcony is (kind of) overlooking the EXCELLENT Mexican restaurant underneath.

Contactless check in was very smooth and simple. Room was much bigger than expected. Very clean and great decor. Free parking was very handy. The location was superb as it was close enough to the action yet far enough to get a quiet night's sleep. Will definitely come back again!

No elevators so was a bit tough for my parents to climb the stairs from the carpark to the room on 1st floor. Entrance to carpark has a harsh bump so be careful not to scrape the bottom of your car.

Amazing apartment - spacious and the best equipped kitchen one could wish for. The Location was amazing - a 6min walk to the beach and centre and plenty of cafes to choose from within a 2min walk. We were travelling with a 15month old and were allowed to check in earlier. We were notified via text with very easy understandable instructions. Thank you for this- it made the trip so enjoyable and smooth.

Heavy rain on the roof makes quite some noise and you could here some music on one day. But the location, design and free parking would be more then enough to see me come back.

The apartment was clean in general, but smelly from the fabric sofa bed in the living room. It's not a summer day, but you can smell it right after opening the door of the apartment. For travellers who are carrying big suitcases, it might be difficult to carry it to the room on a higher floor upstairs.

Excellent apartments in the centre of Byron Bay. Quiet street but very close (2-5 minute walk) to all shops, restaurants, beach, cafes etc. We have stayed in multiple apartments and all have been great, with everything you need for short or long stays. Big open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area and large terrace/balcony. Staff very helpful. Underground parking.

The location and apartment size were excellent for a 7 night stay. Check in was seamless and straight forward. Restaurants and beach were all in easy walking distance & the balcony offered an additional living area looking into the town. I would recommend BQA to friends & family & will visit again. Thank you 😊
