Unit 4 was terrific. The only thing that was a bit of an issue (and it really isn't) is that the bathroom tiles are slippery and my husband has a mobility issue. There is a solution that is clear and goes over tiles to prevent potential slip hazards And the lounge, although comfortable for a short human, was less comfortable for a tall human. Maybe a couple of recliners would make the relaxing time a bit more comfortable. We will be using Coppers Hill for all of our work stays to Gloucester. And the owner is very helpful as well.

It was a great location, being able to walk into town. The facilities were just right for a short stay. Lovely to have some little extras provided like milk, bottles of water and some chocolates. Big tick for having a bin in the bathroom as well as in the room. The room we had allowed us to sit comfortably outside if you wanted some fresh air.

The only criticism would be, had we stayed longer, that there are never enough towel racks in the bathroom to properly air wet towels. A common problem with most places we stay at.

The location was convenient and quiet, and was located across the road from the police station and court house (guessing why it's called Coppers Hill). The twin beds were very comfortable and the bed linen was top notch. Bathroom toiletries were generous and good brands. Generous choice of coffee bags and tea bags. There were two bottles of water and some biscuits, and two chocolates on each bed which was a lovely touch. There was also a supply of crockery and cutlery, toaster and kettle. The wifi was fast and consistent. There is no on-site reception and access is via a key code which is texted just before the arrival time of 2pm.

The only thing that could be considered a negative is that there are doors between the rooms so not well sound proofed. We were in room 2, and were lucky that the people next door were quiet. Our room was quite small, so one bed is very close to the entrance sliding door. You needed to keep the curtains closed all the time for privacy from the road. For some reason, the bedside lamp had been unplugged, so to plug it in, we had to drag one bed forward to be able to reach the powerpoint. In doing this, we were surprised to see a thick layer of dust behind the bed and the bedside table, but I am sure this will be addressed in the next spring clean.

Clean and light and twin beds were comfortable. All amenities and in a quiet location. Gloucester is a lovely little town with good coffee and cafes and pub meals.

Walls between the rooms are very thin but fortunately other guests were considerate to keep the noise down. My phone lost reception in the surrounding national park so I didn’t receive the check in details but turning it off and on again restored the service.

The property was very clean and comfortable and very cool on our arrival. The message re directions for finding and entering the property were very accurate. So we had no trouble finding and getting into the property. We didn’t meet the owners but had a lovely stay.

The room was rather small but the dimensions had been on Booking. Com I just hadn’t registered what size it was but having said that it was ok for one night.

Great central location with off street parking

Getting the text with the room code just a couple of hours before check in is problematic. My mobile phone "vodaphone" does not work in most places in Gloucester. Luckily i got the text in Buladelah. Otherwise i would have been riding around gloucester in the rain looking for phone coverage.

Arriving late on Thursday night before the Easter weekend, we appreciated how easy it was to let ourselves in, without having to face formal check-in procedures when all we wanted was to get to bed. The room was beautifully presented with all the little extras. After quick showers (perfect pressure and temperature) we hit the sack - the beds were super comfy! Had a chuckle in the morning about the appropriateness of the name.

The accommodation was clean, homely and comfortable. The open plan living, meant there's plenty of room to not be on each other's space - after being in a car for hours together, it was welcome 🤪 It is close to the shops, the kids rode their scooters to the skate park and we stopped at a pub for dinner on the way home. The reference book for the local highlights was great. It inspires us to go for a bush walk, to see the old gold mine. Thank you for having us!

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Coppers Hill may be on the small side but it was immaculate with up to date fixtures and finishes, fat towels, crisp sheets, and a modern bathroom. A minute walk down the hill takes you to cute diners and if you're game to drive up to Gloucester Tops for some amazing scenery and views of wildlife!

I didn't have breakfast. I initially thought it was the quietest place I'd ever stayed but other tensnts woke me just after I'd gone to sleep and weren't particularly quiet for some time. Also not so quiet in the morning very early.

Everything great except the noise as above.
