Clean room, air con, quiet

Two of the pillow slips (from the drawer) hadn’t been changed, or perhaps hadn’t aired. We couldn’t find our towels for too long. Could they not just go on the bed? We couldn’t find the teabags! Maybe we are just blind but we are only in our 60s and lots of people our age will be your customers. We couldn’t get any fresh air through the night without opening the door. Otherwise, it was good. Certainly fresh and new, thank you, and the bed was great and sheets clean. Sorry to find fault, but you asked. 😉

How modern the room looked. Some motels don’t generally have Netflix features so it was a bonus for my siblings that like to chill and watch movies. The motel is close to everything which was a bonus!

Expected it to be clean as we left for a wedding and left the sign at our door, got back and it was still the same. Can’t complain though because it was worth staying here!

very spacious room. particularly liked the comfortable lounge facing the TV. Very well appointed kitchenette area. Checking in and out, was a very straightforward affair. Was only a 1-night stay but if ever in Grafton again ... know where I'm heading.

Abbey Inn was a beautiful Motel. Obviously the rooms have been renovated and were very comfortable, with a lovely leather lounge. The bathroom was exceptional, and the shower was the best I have ever experienced, even after travelling extensively overseas. Our family had 3 rooms at the Motel, and everyone commented on the showers. The Motel was close to shops, and within walking distance of the venues we needed. If we have the need to travel to Grafton again, we will certainly use the Abbey Motor Inn.

Clean, good location, easy late entry.

Impractical shower design!! Water seeped under the shower door out onto the floor….quite a large volume. However, the shower pressure was good, bathroom was clean.

Room was tidy and had been renovated not too long ago. The bed was comfortable. Didn't meet any staff, so can't comment on them.

The cushions on the bed were all stained. The tea towel was disgusting, I wouldn't even use it to clean the floor it was that bad. There was food stuck to the 'clean' plates in the drawer. The people staying above us were like elephants, and then at 6am you had people standing outside our room having a conversation at what sounded like the top of their lungs.

Modern. Clean. Handy to town, within easy walking distance. Safe accommodation. Not noisy eventhough on main road (rooms soundproofed?). Friendly. Reasonable wheelchair access in ground floor rooms. Nice setting next door to the Church gardens.

Well presented room, very comfortable bed, great TV and easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Off street parking and not much traffic during the night when you're trying to sleep.

Cieling or wall fan wouldn't have gone astray if you don't want to use the aircon.

Super clean and comfy! I travel frequently for work and to have a comfy bed is soooooo important and this was one of the best yet! Staff were amazing, I was one of those annoying guests who forgot toothpaste - they helped me in finding best place close by to go - forgot my phone in room one day - they drove it to my training location - forgot some clothes in my room when I left - they sent it to me. Above and beyond service!!

There was a group enjoying themselves in the communal area each night. I hate to be the fun police, but after a couple of nights of it, and also just wanting to go somewhere outside where I could "chill" after a long day, it would have been nice if they had been a bit mindful of others.
