Location was within walking distance of supermarket and also the Clocktower hotel. Although this was not open on the public holiday. The room was set out very well. Lighting was so good. Bedside lights bright to read by. Good shelving to put luggage on. Plates and microwave. Bed very comfy with a nice rug to throw over. The shower was large and fantastic, with very nice large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash that all smelt amazing. The receptionist was one of the nicest ladies we’ve come across. Above and beyond. Offered to help with our luggage and was naturally friendly. So nice after 8 hours of travelling.

We didn’t mind the stairs but all rooms are upstairs.

The staff at the Civic Motel, were great very welcoming and helpful. The room was not flashy but it was very clean comfortable and had everything that I needed. The shower was strong hot and roomy not like some others , where you feel like you are showering in a phone booth. I would recommend the Civic Motel if you are looking for a comfortable friendly and good valued place to stay. Also the pub across the road has reasonably priced meals which are also not flashy but enjoyable.

Nothing really

Great central location, family room well fitted out and well-organised with all the extra plug sockets you need these days. The staff were friendly and helpful and had an info folder to work out dinner. Included plates for dinner - really helpful when travelling.

Only thing was that had stairs up to the room - built to protect from floods probably. It was not a problem for us and there was a room downstairs I think if there are any mobility issues. Hard to think of something to include here.

A nice quiet little motel close to a supermarket and pubs (for food). I found the bed and pillows very comfortable and had a good night sleep. Good onsite parking. I had to detour onto the old Pacific Highway to get there, but it's not that far and serves as a reminder of how great the Pacific Highway is now that it's mostly four lane divided road. If you're heading north from Grafton it's a nice scenic drive back to the new Pacific Highway.

I couldn't connect to wifi (not sure if it was a motel problem or a me problem). I didn't raise it with staff because I could tether to my phone. I also had trouble working out how to use the heater (again, could be a me problem), but managed to get it going eventually.

The location was perfect for an overnight stop on a road trip. Located within 5-minute walk to a supermarket and small shop and across the road from a pub, which was convenient for our evening meal. The welcome from our hosts and the kind offer to help with our bags.

I forgot to check if our room was on the ground floor. A minor inconvenience to walk up 2 small flights of stairs, but good to remember if stairs are an issue.

I stayed here one night passing through on my way to another town. I really recommend Civic Motel. I was able to park my car undercover. A close walk into town. Quiet location. The rooms were well maintained with both fan and air conditioner. The shower was a real one. I really loved how they have Foxtel and Stan available. As I don’t have Stan at home I was able to re watch the Dawn of the Dolphins series. As I was also working on the run the wifi was absolutely exceptional and worked a treat. There’s also a pool for those who wanted to swim. The staff were all very friendly. However we can replace the Dragons photos in the main office with Dolphins or Bulldogs hahahaha.

I liked everything.

contactless access to room was handy, given a pin number for key on front door, comfortable bed, amazing shower, very handy booklet on all the local activities, plus we didn't realise the jacaranda festival was on, such a beautiful thing to see, blooming jacarandas. the clocktower pub did an amazing meal, and easy walking distance. coles next door.

there's no complaints, I just wish i could stay longer

The location is fantastic. Just a quick walk to the center of town and a shopping center and supermarket is 3 minutes walk away. The staff were super friendly and helpful and I really appreciated that I was able to check in early with no penalty. I was given a separate pool towel which was much appreciated. Also, I didn't hear anything at night, considering it's so close to town.

I can't really fault this place. It was easy to find and I could check in early. The place was clean, comfy and everything was in perfect order.

We stayed here just for one night as a stop off driving through. Arrived late and departed early but I would come back and stay again if I was coming to Grafton. Good location, very clean, exactly what you need! Didn't have much interaction with the staff, just a quick goodbye to reception when leaving the key back but she was very nice!

It was more then what I was expecting as I stay a lot in motels because of work it was easy laid out well comfortable and so close to everything

The heater system gave me a bit of a problem only because I've never seen one before and the microwave turntable the struggling other than that 10 out of 10
