A little.hiddem.gem. very well looked after and cared for. Quiet. Close to some good restaurants. We came up after the cyclone and were told that we couldn't swim in the beach but were recommended to go to the springs in Angourie which did not disappoint. A gorgeous morning walk and a beautiful beach view from the springs,.we didn't go in but it would have been a beautiful place to swim. Only stayed at Carmel for the night and it was just what we needed while stopping through

Everything was fine.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room pretty clean. Reasonably located handy to town. Noise of the busy roads was not intrusive. What I liked was having a small kitchen with a separate sink. So you did not need to get water from the bathroom for the kettle.or to wash up. Yippee! Had hooks on the bathroom which were useful.

Bed was a bit lumpy and sagged. But not too bad. Don't know if this is a motel thing or a booking.com thing. The pictures of a property displayed in booking.com show the whole place and never seem to specifically show the room you are interested in. Makes it harder to see what you are choosing.

The spa. Best bath I've ever soaked in. Although the bathroom is situated where people have access to pass by right next to where the spa is. If you value your privacy DO NOT open your window and keep your blinds down The spa suite was soooo spacious and luxurious. A huge bed, comfy, although I found the mattress a bit hard. The robe was handy and comfy after getting out of the massive spa. Definitely room for two in the spa. There is a roomy outdoor area that is private with a hammock. The pool area is amazing. I had it to myself most of the time. Beautiful pool. Big comfy padded day lounges. So tranquil Chontelle the manager is lovely. On arrival I was told to my pleasure I had been upgraded to the spa room Soooooo happy I was. It's such an amazing space Yamba is beautiful 😍 Quick 2 minute drive to town centre or 10-15 minute walk Short 5 minute, if that, drive to all the amazing beaches ⛱️ The Indian Restaurant. Yummy. I had a delicious meal. Netflix in the room So convenient located to everything Yamba has to offer, whether in foot, by car or bike, although you're better off driving to the beaches cause there's big hills to get to them Great coffee at caperberry Cafe The sunrise at the little look out point around from Convent Beach was spectacular 👌 😍

Hard mattress Lack of privacy in bathroom

This place was wonderful we would have been happy to stay longer. We were welcomed at check-in with lots of information about the area, places to eat, things to do etc. We've stayed in several places with self check-in on this trip and while they were fine, nothing beats the personal touch offered here. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, there was a very nice BBQ area, a tennis court, a lovely pool with sun loungers (towels provided in rooms) and even a fire pit. Good location close to the water.

Absolutely nothing to dislike here.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was nice and roomy. Facilities were excellent.

The kitchen items could have been much better stocked with additional utensils etc. It was very basic. We were very disappointed the pool closed at 6pm. With daylight saving in NSW we were just coming home at 6.30-7 after a day out and wanted to cool off in the pool before going out for dinner. The normal time for a resort pool to close in the evening is 9pm, 3 additional hours.

Chontelle was very helpful prior to arriving and making sure I was comfortable. Having a mobility issue she upgraded us to a 2 bedroom unit to give me more room to move around in. It was great to find it was self contained and also had a mini bar which was great as we had driven a fair bit to get there and hadn't got any supplies before getting there.

The door to small garden area was a bit heavy and jammed and only a taller male could have opened it. It wasn't really a garden it was just a couple of chairs under palms out the front of unit but adequate as we only stayed one night.

The location was excellent for travel to the golf club which was the reason for our visit It was a short drive to town and the beach. The rooms were of an excellent size, the service was exceptional as i originally booked a one bedroom and asked to be upgraded on the morning before leaving. This was no problem and the room was ready on arrival. We were even given parking in the next door unit and advised the other 2 bedrooms would be rented first to allow us to be able to park 2 cars. The pool was clean and sunbeds comfortable.

Lovely greeting at reception, no mess around checkin very quick. Room was clean and spacious. Location was good. Pool was lovely, very clean and nice garden area.

Bit noisy being in the accomadation right at the front, but that not anyone's fault. Facilities in the room, a bit disappointed everything displayed was to be paid for, advert was a bit miss leading. It said on arrival drinks snacks etc, I do understand that could get expensive, but a bottle of water at least would have been nice !! For a family with young kids ! They would have been in that lot displayed before a parent could stop them, and those prices where not cheap.

Very nice modern apartment. Superfriendly staff. We had some issues with the aircon but the staff attended to it immediately and also gave us a gift for the trouble. Walking distance to town (about 1 km and 1,5 km to the beach)

Location next to two roads wasn’t the nicest but not a big issue as there were no traffic noise inside
