Brilliant staff, always ready to assist with any enquiry. The remote in our room had one function that did not work and it was immediately replaced, no problem at all. The room was just the right size for 2 - 3 people and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Smart TV with google play and all the apps, a big tick from me. Very quiet location within 2 - 3 minutes of most places in Yamba. Lovely outdoor areas with a nice pool and spa. Overall great experience, we will be back. Highly recommend.

Nothing, it satisfied what I think the perfect motel should be.

This property was surprisingly good - we chose it because it was a convenient stopover on our way through and the price was very reasonable. We arrived well after reception had closed however received easy clear instructions to gain access to the room. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Because we arrived in the dark, we couldn't see where the lift was, so my friend had to play Sherpa and carry all our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. A very comfy room and the staff were lovely.

The balcony overlooking the pool area is quite narrow. It is one long balcony, so when anyone walked past your room , they not only had to squeeze past your outdoor furniture, but they were literally right outside your door so it wasn't very private. My friend went to jump in the spa the next day before we left, but returned pretty quickly as it was not heated which was a bit disappointing. We travelled in September, but the pool was was still quite cool.

It's exactly what you'd expect from a good motel. The rooms are clean and spacious with everything a solo traveller needs. The doors are coded so that you don't have to check-in with the office if you don't want to. I would stay there again.

Look, the hotel can't control this, but the mosquitos were incredible. I've never seen anything like it. The geckos are the fattest I've ever seen in a place because every night is a feast for them. If I were a little bit skinnier I'd have been carried away by them. They were having a conference, I'm sure I saw a group of them with Brazilian flags, shaking their little booties like it was the Rio Carnival. Go there for the mozzies, I promise you won't be disappointed.

The room was good and so was the bed. The location is excellent. Cleanliness and room service was excellent. The staff at reception were polite and helpful.

The bathroom was a bit small. The fridge was a negative experience as we had to sit on a chair to put in or take out of the fridge as the fridge was so small and low down. It seems that some of the clothes storage area had been sacrificed for somewhere to hang the tv.

I requested a ground floor room because I have difficulty with stairs. However the motel has an elevator which was ideal for me. The motel is situated in a very quiet street but is within easy walking distance from the town centre as well as the Bowling Club. It is also within easy walking distance to the ferry which runs regularly to Iluka and also has cruises on Sunday and Wednesday. Staying at this motel entitled us to a discount on meals at the bowling club. We have stayed here before and would not consider staying anywhere else in Yamba.

Lovely big room with separate seating, large tv, fridge. Nice quiet location on the edge of town, but still a short walk to the centre. Discounts available at the Bowlo using room key (think they have common ownership).

Shower temperature was a bit finicky. Bathroom in general was a bit tight given the size of the rest of the room. WiFi was a bit flaky at times (but we had no issues streaming on the tv)

I took a while researching where to stay in Yamba and I am so glad as it certainly ticked all our boxes in terms of comfort, price, location and facilities. The bed and quality of sheets were first class and so comfortable. We ate at the bowls club and used our discount and it was very acceptable too. Yamba as beautiful and find the shores Tavern for brilliant sunset

Nothing really. The bathroom a bit small but manageable and not a show stopper.

Bed was very comfortable. Great to have a kitchette with a sink. Location is very central. 12-15 minute walk to the centre and up the hill for glorious ocean views.

It would be helpful if staff could use their local knowledge about transport options into Yamba. When I rang to book I was trying to figure out how to get from Grafton to Yamba. There is a bus linking the two centres but its website is not clear. Not everyone has a car or wants to use one and it could mean the difference between staying or not staying in Yamba.

The room was great, clean and private. Did not hear any other guests during my stay. The room had everything that I needed and was in a perfect location for the places that I needed to go to for my stay.

My room was right at the end of the corridor (24) on the top floor. Not easily accessible from where I could park my car. Not much you could do about that though due to the layout of the motel.

Lovely motel, newly refurbished and perfect for a night or 2 stop over in Yamba. Great location, very quiet, but easy walk to shops and beaches. We were very pleased to be allocated a ground floor room so we did not have to carry our luggage up stairs. The room was very spacious, the king bed was very comfortable and there was a microwave. Kitchen items provided included cutlery, bowls and bread and butter plates, but no dinner plates. There is also a small, but well designed fridge with good separate freezer spaced. There are 2 tub chairs but no sofa. We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay and would definitely come again.
