Hosts were very welcoming and throughout our overnight stay had everything attended to. The additional dinner service was exceptional and provided more time to interact with the hosts and other guests The breakfast was of a high standard and the hosts provided for personal preferences with ease The views of the Clarence River provided an extra ambience The two storeyed house was impressive for its architecture complemented by the owner’s obvious skill of creating timber detailing throughout.

The only downside was our room being upstairs with a small en suite area

I didn't know it would be such a quiet, peaceful beautiful location. Arriving at the house has the 'wow' factor. Terry was a gracious hostess who gave us wine and a cheese plate out on the back deck looking over the river and enjoying the company of a Kangaroo or two. So beautiful! We had the most amazing huge bathtub in our room which was so lovely to relax in. The morning came all too quickly in the really comfy bed and I slept well with the incredibly perfect pillows (normall so hard to find when not your own). Again, breakfast served on the deck with a new light on the river. We wish we had been able to stay longer. Will visit again for longer next time.

Wonderfully constructed home in a beautiful scenic tranquil location surrounded by wildlife - Holly the kangaroo, wallabies and koalas. Gorgeous views from our room balcony and from the downstairs veranda. Rooms were extremely comfortable and the big bath was a welcome luxury after a day of travel. Terry and Greg were superb hosts from arrival to departure - from the cheese and wine when we arrived - to pointing out a koala sleeping in a tree just as we were about to depart and miss it, which would have been a massive disappointment to our (adult!) daughter

The breakfast was very enjoyable on the verandah over looking the river and the pool. I can’t think of a better outlook. We were given the times when breakfast would be available. Which made it more relaxing rather one set time.

I can’t think of anything that could have been better. They were very obliging and helpful. I felt like I was a member of the family that’s how welcoming they were. Next time I must stay at least 2 nights so I can enjoy the view, relax and swim. The grounds and pool were well maintained and I even saw 2 koalas in a tree. There were also a few kangaroos but Holly was a favourite who would only let Greg pat her. It was quite entertaining.

A very peaceful, unique, and homely stay! The rooms and facilities are fantastic, the wood furnishings throughout are very impressive and eye catching, the wallabies / kangaroos are a nice touch and many other wildlife sightings really helped to unwind away from the city. Lounging in the swinging daybed and hammocks was so relaxing. No complaints at all about the food - very well cooked country style meal and a country breakfast. They were able to accommodate our special dietary requests too. A big thank you overall to our hosts Terry and Greg.

I loved everything about it! It was truly beautiful and exactly the same as the pictures but even better. Both the house and the gardens, etc, were idyllic. I arrived at , to a home cooked dinner and glass of wine. The breakfast was beautiful, great variety. The owner was very friendly and was very accommodating. I would totally recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for some peace and quiet. Can't wat to go back again with my family.

This is an absolutely stunning property that is well curated and extremely clean. We booked around 4pm and arrived at 6pm. We were greeted by Terry and Greg who were lovely and friendly. Cheese and wine was provided and by 7.30pm we were eating the most delicious home cooked meal prepared by Terry, with warm bread, curled butter and no less than 8 fresh vegetables. Nothing was overlooked. We had the option of eating in our room or with the hosts and other guests. After dinner we played games and looked at the amazing home Terry & Greg have built. The room had everything you need and more, but most impressive was the glorious view of the river. Stunning! All of the finer details are catered Would highly recommend this place is you are passing through or a regular visitor to Grafton.

Everything! It was amazing and our hosts,Terry and Greg were wonderful. Friendly and ready to answer any questions we had about the history of the property and surrounds. Our room was beautiful with everything you could ever need was there at our fingertips. So many little extras that you don’t usually find at these places which made it stand out from anywhere we’ve ever stayed. We’ve already had lovely feedback from our facebook posts. We’ll be back! ❤️

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like!!

Clarence River BNB is a perfect tranquil retreat with beautiful gardens in which to commune with the resident wallabies and Holly the grey kangaroo. The rooms are stunning with all the equally stunning wood furniture made by Greg on site. Terri treated us to a tasty dinner of local snapper and hand cut chips on our own private balcony. Then came the most relaxing evening bath in our room. What a great last evening to our holiday.

The easiest ten I've ever given, we were greeted by the friendly kangaroo Holly and by the wonderful hosts Greg and Terry. Though out the stay they were kind and helpful and helped us to spot the abundance wildlife in the area (wallbies and koalas) the room was lovely with a vintage wood and golden design, very well maintained and clean. Bed was comfortable and the in room bath was a great plus. Breakfast was delicious... Highly recommend!!
