Clean, great location, very comfortable. The common areas nicely presented. Staff member on the phone was very pleasant. Quiet, noise didn’t travel between rooms. Saw kangaroos behind the building. Affordable, which is a big deal in this area.

Check in method was a bit unexpected. You can’t get past the front door to check in. The comms via email didn’t mention I’d have to call to get a code if the staff weren’t there. It just said I’d be charged after 10pm. We arrived at 5pm. Kitchen utensils limited. A cutting board, chopping knife, bowls that aren’t actually plates etc would be helpful. We ate our cereal in mugs. A communal outdoor area to dry beach towels would help. A welcome note with wifi password & explaining the amenities is standard but didn’t exist. Only minor things though.

The property was dated but very clean and well equipped. I loved the bed and sheets; good to have facecloths. The fridge was a decent size and the freezer a bonus. We froze water to go in our cool bag. Plates, glasses and cutlery was provided. Good hot shower. Plenty of parking. Nice little cake shop next door! We arrived before the 9pm check in time but no-one there. Luckily my (UK) phone worked and my call was answered immediately and we were helped into the room over the phone. Not far the local places of interest such as the beautiful beaches.

Would have liked to see clearly marked separate receptacles for trash and recycling. Frustratingly we were unable to access the internet on the morning we left even though it had been fine up until then

Once up the stairs the room was very comfortable and well appointed.

We did not know we had to pre-order the breakfast items. However were told over the phone where to find a cafe. We were also not made aware that there were only upstairs rooms and as an older couple with some mobility issues that made it difficult. Unfortunately only booked on the day and so was not able to get onto reception so booked on Booking.com and that fact was not made clear for us. We found it strange there was no window in the bathroom and no exhaust fan!

We came down here for a wedding and was unable to find many places that allowed my support dog to stay. But bay and basin not only allows pets but treats them like family. The place itself was easy to find, easy to check in even after hours. They are more than accommodating when it came to bringing my dog as they have set aside a few rooms for the dog parents. They are lovely to communicate with always answered the phone and available to help when needed. The beds are a dream to sleep on, very comfortable and felt safe the whole time with the security measures put into place. Affordable, cosy, peaceful, pet friendly and right next to IGA take away food and across from the country club and 2 minute walk to the water. The double brick allows for complete silence so you really do get a chance to relax, read, focus or just have some much needed downtime Could not recommend enough especially if you need a place that allows our fury little friends. 100/10

Genuinely nothing! Adored the whole aesthetic and peacefulness of the place.

Clean, cosy and convenient. Really appreciate it that my dog could stay over too as we needed a place to stay during our trip. I loved the art deco lobby. Easy to check in and out. The room had a small fridge, microwave and kettle with cutlery and crockery. Very close to local shops and being able to walk to the lake which has a lovely walking track that goes for a long way. Highly recommended. Maureen was so friendly and helpful during the booking and check in process.

Even though it was on a main street, it was quite, the beds were very comfortable. It was next door to a shopping strip and the Bowling Club was across the road, the food there was good and the staff friendly! You can purchase a ticket to go into the Booderee National Park for two days and explore all the beaches inside. They are amazing. They even had a decommissioned Light House in St George Basin.

No reception desk! You had to ring a mobile number and then someone came down to let you in! You couldn't open the windows more than inch to let in fresh air. We missed the place as we drove past, needs a street sign!

The room was very comfortable, the heater worked excellently to warm the room up quickly and the bedlinen was nice and warm. The bathroom was super clean and was recently refurbished. The location is convenient, near to cafes and restaurants in Sanctuary Point. The hotel staff are very nice. I would stay there again if visiting the area.

Quaint and quiet little hotel. Beautiful building, easy check in and out. Comfortable. Had a microwave, kettle, Fridge, glasses, mugs, tea/coffee, plates, cutlery etc. Very short (1 minute) walk to the IGA. A two or three minute walk down to the lake for a pretty sunset. Too easy.

The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were helpful when we called them, responded quickly and were careful to ensure that we were happy.

The outside of the building is a little shabby and remote check-in was a little off-putting. However once we made contact with staff and got inside it was very nice.

The location was lovely. Only a few minutes walk to Sanctuary Point which was beautiful. The hotel room had everything we needed and it was very peaceful around the area with plenty of shops nearby to suit our needs

Not alot to dislike. Being British, the selection of tea bags weren't fantasic, but nothing that we couldn't sort!
