I absolutely loved the cabin’s amenities! The friendly staff greeted us warmly every day, always waving and checking in to make sure we were having the best possible time. She even recommended some fantastic local spots to explore. The cabin was well-equipped too: there were plenty of input cables under the TV, so I easily plugged in my Nintendo Switch for a fun games night. And the deck’s BBQ grill was a delightful surprise—we enjoyed grilled dinners two or three evenings during our stay.
The bedroom connected to the bathroom had a little gap under the door so whenever someone would go in the entire bedroom would light up. We could've put a towel across it so it wasn't the end of the world.

The cabins are generous sized and very comfortable. The facilities were great too - looking forward to when building is finished for more cabins and pool!
The place looks to be getting rebuilt and when we reached out to get help with hot water, the old owners details were still published in the handbook. When we finally got the new owners details, we never heard back. We worked out the hot water ourselves

Great set up and lots of space especially for large groups with kids. We had a great stay over 3 days. The accommodation had everything you needed with a bbq and the picnic setup near the lake was perfect. Had a firepit and even toilets, perfect for events etc . Highly recommend, our host was very friendly and hospitable. She ensured we had everything we needed and was flexible even for later checkout.
Nothing was great

The quiet surroundings with an expanse of grass for the pup to run around in. The little wharf was a very short 5 min stroll away for views of the lake. The little cabins were spaced across the property so privacy was not an issue at all. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cleaning and cooking products and utensils needed for a nice little feed. The verandah area was a great place to chill, have a meal and a chinwag with family. We were blessed with pleasant weather so we spent quite a bit of time just chatting around the dinner table on the deck.
The BBQ was dirty so we had to cook our steaks on the stovetop instead. At first glance, everything seemed clean but when I went to pick up an item I'd lost under the couch, I found odd bits and bobs from past guests including a pair of sunnies, a couple of hair ties and quite a lot of dust. This is a non-issue for us, but other guests may not be as forgiving.

Location and amount of cabins on The site was just sufficient not overcrowded. Property could develop their kids play area more with a small bike jump track arc to keep kids entertained. Need a office with at least one staff there for emergency occasions. Property does need to be fenced around The perimeter Of The main road. Nice bathroom products to use like gel, shampoo etc.
Cabin floors are squeaky, needs to be looked at ASAP. Could have a vacuum cleaner somewhere for a quick clean. A set of spare bed linen would be good.

The Leaning Oak situated at Lake Conjula was a beautiful surprise. Our 2 bedroom, large, immaculate cottage overlooking a calm pond filled with ducks and gorgeous waterlilies. Birds nesting and feeding from the many trees dotted throughout the property and so much wildlife including Kangaroos bouncing happily by. A short, relaxing walk to the waters edge which is still within the property so you don’t have to pack up and leave. The Cottage is immaculate with beautiful bed linen, towels, beach towels supplied, well equipped Kitchen, Laundry and everything you need for your vacation. On the Deck, besides the Beautiful view, there is a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs and also a cart to fill up and take to the waters edge or picnic in the beautiful landscaped grounds. My Husband and I would definitely recommend The Leaning Oak.

We loved the location being removed from the generally more touristy surrounding towns. The property was well equipped, with electric stove (though this varies between each cabin), laundry facilities and big enough veranda to enjoy a meal together or just for a chat, or to sit in silence and soak up the country scenery. There was also a small selection of condiments (salt & pepper, olive oil, canola oil) but you'd best bring your own to save you some time driving to the closest IGA.
Our pup dropped his ball underneath the sofa, which is when I realised how dirty it was underneath the surface. I found a pair of sunglasses under there, and the floor beneath the couch was coated with a layer of dust and hair. It's also cockroach season (as Summer usually is), and I met a baby cockroach while I was clearing out the sink.

Loved this place, the dogs loved it! It was so clean, I couldn't believe they were so dog friendly. The surroundings were so quiet and peaceful. Just gorgeous!
Would have liked a gate on the HUGE verandah, my pup wanted to sit on the verandah, but he would have run away. I made a make shift barrier with the outdoor chairs. A gate would have also helped with packing and unpacking the car to keep the pups contained.

Very quiet, peaceful & relaxing area. Clean amenities. Air con & fans. Nice verandah & BBQ.
Not enough wine glasses, mugs, drinking glasses, bowls, forks & spoons for 4 people. Minimal cost to fix. Kmart 6 wine glasses $10, $10 for 4 mugs etc. Suggest small pan & broom. Also ice cube holders. Tongs for BBQ.

I like the quiet location and the pet friendly accomodation. The house is nice and cosy. Clean and airy. Love that we can access the lake on a walking distance and free use of the paddle board which my kids enjoyed. The Netflix and the free wifi was a welcoming addition as well.
Had an issue locating the accommodation, mainly due to google not recognising the place yet. Maybe the entrance to the property can be repaired and concreted. It's quite rough.
