The location, cleanliness of apartment, the pool, good beds, kitchenette (incl pod coffee machine) and the onsite restaurant and massage /spa

Only the fact that on departure the fellow at reception was a bit abrupt and when we were 8 minutes late to check out he came by the room. As I was opening the door with luggage in hand he was at the door. He looked a tad surprised but not what I'm used to at hotels and motels. I overheard him talk abruptly to guests who arrived several hours early for check-in. Nothing warm and fuzzy about him. The preceding 3 days there was another person at reception who had a pleasant manner.

Absolutely loved the location. Very short walk to the beach and the club across the road. The air conditioner in our room was broken and it was humid so we contacted the after hours and despite how late it was they gave us another room free of charge which was amazing and isn’t something you usually get when you go places.

I think the only downfall for us was we like to watch tv before bed and found that the tv was really slow and the remote didn’t have good connectivity from the bed to the tv so I had to stand up and stand at the tv to control it.

Kids loved the pool, which was great to relax in as the beach surf was quite strong. The two bedroom apartment was spacious and seemed to be one of the biggest units in the complex. The wifi was free (even though their email says only get 50MB 😬) and very fast.

Very minor point the bed was a little too firm and the chaise on the lounge sagged a bit, otherwise everything was great.

location. room being serviced every day. lovely women who clean were friendly and helpful. bed was great. room was pleasant.

reception staff were super unfriendly. bordering on rude. car park is a mess for a facility charging close to $500 a night, and needs paving. kitchenette facilities were poor: the sink is small with nowhere to leave a mug or breakfast bowl to dry and a decent knife and shopping board should be provided to make a basic salad.

Close to beach. Pool very nice and refreshing, and clean. Spa was a lovely addition and great that they had hotel guest discount rates. Golf club across the street was a good spot for meals.

The room was quite stuffy at night - couldn't keep windows open due to noise, but the air conditioner is not near the bed so it was a little hard to keep the room comfortable. The stairs / arrangement of rooms was confusing due to it being staggered to follow the road - so it was easy to get lost.

Great location. Modern, clean, fairly well equipped and comfortable room, walk to everything.

Nowhere to hang wet towels or damp clothes inside the unit after a day at the beach. Needs hooks, a pull out indoor line or a clothes horse. Didn’t like the ground floor room as the ‘terrace’ area wasn’t private and we didn’t want to air anything out there. Empty alcohol containers on the grass, next to side walkway from the front of the property.

Amazing location, beach is a 2 minute walk away, golf club across the road, pool was beautifully warm, kids loved it! Great facilities, easy parking, got up early to watch the sunrise and it’s such a great vibe waking up to the ocean, there’s a kiosk on the beach for early morning coffee or a pod machine in the room. Especially loved the free bottled water that was greatly appreciated. Beds were comfy, air con was great & not noisy at all, blockout curtains meant the kids could’ve kept sleeping they didn’t even know it was morning. And the Thai restaurant on site was 10/10 delicious!

Spacious, well set up, clean, well serviced, helpful staff. The beach was so close, it was amazing. This was not the first time we had stayed at Mollymook Shores. It was even better this time. We ate several times at the Beach Hut where the owner was the same lovely lady who had been there when we visited many years ago.

We would have liked a king size bed and flatter pillows. The Thai restaurant was fine, but you wouldn't want to eat there every night. The Golf Club was across the road, which was good but we missed vegetables with our meals.

The location across from the golf club is perfect. Room had a good layout and the colour scheme is great. The crockery etc is good quality and gives a luxury feel to the room, as do the bathroom fittings. The pump packs of toiletries are a good idea (and they smell wonderful). Bed was comfortable. I like that there was a couch and table and chairs. We had an issue with the heater in the morning but it was followed up by staff so good customer service. Would definitely stay again.

The water pressure wasn't great.

Location of the property was good. Off street parking was good as I had a trailer. The room was OK but no real view from the one they put us in..

I booked the room and it was promoted as ocean view and priced as such. We were put in room 103 which does not have a an ocean view whilst other units with a view appeared to be vacant. For the money we paid and the early booking I was a bit disappointed here.
