Loved the location. Right in the centre of the main street in Milton. Bed was super comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean. Check in was easy.

These things were NOT an issue for us, but is for the information of others. No onsite parking. Lots of stairs to get up to the rooms. Located above a pub, so you will get a lot of noise if they have live music. Personally, we loved going upstairs, getting our pj's on and listening to the bands when we'd had enough of the crowds.

The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere. We were staying with our two children and having a two bedroom suite was perfect. They even provided a travel cot with no charge which was great! It would be perfect for a family or even two couples. The recent renovations were lovely and all of the stylish touches just made it feel like you were staying in a boutique hotel. It was really easy to check in and out as well. We were so impressed!

We stayed on a Friday night and the noise from the pub was a bit noisy, it didn't bother us but it might bother a really light sleeper.

Great location on the main road for me just passing through town. This was a quiet time of year, usually there would be a little bit more buzz on the main road. The rooms are quiet, clean, comfortable, stylish, newly refurbished and practical. I have stayed here twice now on my way further south and loved the place both times. When travelling I try and eat my own food, so particularly liked that they had crockery and cutlery, just no microwave. This is totally self check in so no staff to comment on. Great pub downstairs, noise not an issue.

Would love a microwave to use, nothing else. This is just personal preference.

We booked The Rooms Milton as a last minute night away and loved it. The rooms are recently renovated, the two bedroom room was great for a family with two kids. It was really thought through with what’s needed. The beds were comfortable and the little touches like a few kids games were nice. A few people have said it’s noisy but we didn’t find it noisy. The location and convenience were worth it. Having lots of bars and cafes nearby, as well as the IGA was super handy. We’ll be back!

The property was absolutely lovely. Looked like a recent refurbishment. Quality soft furnishings and really comfortable beds and pillows. Nice new crockery and cutlery and plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Modern bathroom and beautiful toiletries, nice soft towels. We also loved the keyless access. Communication from the owners was excellent.

Our only negative was that we did not realise there were quite a few stairs to enter the suite which was a minor problem for us oldies! We were a little worried about the highway noise, which fortunately was not an issue

No designated car parking. Had to park on Main Street and walk suitcases through shop fronts. Learnt from local there is an IGA at back close by, if no parking on front street can try IGA. Have to activate a code to get into building. Instructions state “wake up the keypad”. We had no idea how to do this. Needed to ask Milton Hotel about how to use keypad. They are not affiliated with hotel FYI but were happy to help. To wake up keypad, tap in middle. How to wake up keypad instructions for dummies like us would be helpful. No spot or shelf/rack in shower to put your own toiletries.

It was the perfect location for an overnight stay in beautiful Milton. Loved the room size and design with a generous sized bathroom and hassle-free check in and check out too. We will defs be back

Dangerous Ales downstairs could have been open on a Sunday night but we went to Bannisters Pavilion in Mollymook and had great food and cocktails on the balcony

The location is close to shops and restaurants, and the room is decorated in a modern style, with a comfortable bed and good facilities. Great communciation from the owners and a very reasonably priced stay!

The room we stayed in had a shared bathroom, which was not as modern as the room decor. However, we had a dedicated toilet and shower for our room, and the bedroom we were sharing with wasn't occupied, so we didn't end up having to share.

Was a wonderful stay, a perfect location and right above Dangerous Ales. We opted for the shared bathroom which was better than expected, the two rooms that share it still have their own toilet and shower. Check in was contactless with the pin code messaged to us.

We think the carpet must have been cleaned recently and not left to dry properly as there was a damp wet smell in the hallway, a box fan would have been great in the cold to have helped that dry out. Coming from the country and being above the main road it was a bit noisier than we are used to but not an issue at all. The light above our shower did not work and was filled with mould so likely needs a replacement.

The room was a bit small but very nice. It had enough space to store all our luggage. It was very clean and the bed linen and towels were very comfy. Should you love the fabrics and the furniture, the owners provide a contact to manufacturers of everything in the room. The location is perfect, in the morning you can just continue with your travel towards the Melbourne.
