Belinda was an excellent host. She was very friendly and gave us good local information about what to see and do and where to eat. We stayed in Hume #2 which is a separate cottage with plenty of room in the living room and the bathroom. The cottage has a verandah and garden where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset or just read a book in the peaceful setting. The cottage has all the facilities required for a short stay. It is on a hill with views over Boonah and towards Cunningham's Gap and only a 10 minute walk to the main street. Boonah is lovely town with a village like atmosphere and plenty of places to eat and drink. We had a delicious morning tea at The Story Tree cafe, tasty pizzas from Boonah Pizza, a relaxing lunch at the Mogerah Dam cafe and a delightful lunch on the terrace at the Lavender Farm. The cottage location is perfect for exploring the Scenic Rim.

Can't fault the accommodation and hospitality.

Very comfortable apartment with king size bed and everything you could need for an overnight or few days stay. Fridge was stocked well with items for breakfast including juice, yogurt, sliced bread and milk. Three types of cereals plus packets of porridge, different teas, coffee, hot chocolate, jams and even cup a soups and noodles gave us plenty of choice. Belinda made us feel very welcome and even met us in the driveway when we pulled up. She even messaged prior to our arrival to check what our preferred milk was.

As the property is attached there was a little bit of noise. My husband said it woke him in the morning but I didn’t hear anything as I had earplugs in due to his snoring.

Spacious, clean, comfy, open space that was modern and inviting with everything I needed and more. Belinda was very helpful with local knowledge and kind. I appreciated the breakfast and extras. I wished I booked longer. It was a beautiful self contained home away from home. The shower temperature and water flow was perfect and the towels and bed linen soft and comfortable. I wanted to take them home. Hideaway on Hume had a good feel about it, with a beautiful open garden with lovely views on both sides. I got beautiful sunset and sunrise photos. Highly recommend.

During our stay a storm rolled over. The power dipped for a moment. We carry a little torch/lantern just in case, but our host knocked on the door to offer us a lantern and dinner as it wouldn't have been ideal to head down to the pub in the weather. It was so thoughtful and considerate. We had been picking on the road all day and weren't particularly hungry, so we grabbed some of the breakfast offerings. There was plenty and even though Belinda offered to bring in some more bread the next morning we didn't need it. I sat on the little veranda with a mosquito coil burning and the rain and wind whooshing around me until the lightning grew really close and I headed back into the room. The best moody book weather! In the morning, we had a hearty breakfast, filled up my travel mug and our water bottles and the road feeling fresh and happy. The bed was so comfortable, slept like a log!

Nothing.

The room was very tidy and clean, and comfortable, although smaller than I thought it would be. We were there in winter with temps at 2C in the morning, but the room was cosy. The wifi and smart TV were good. A continental breakfast was provided that was plentiful. Belinda was very friendly and helpful. It is at the top of the hill in Boonah, so the views are great. But the walk back from town is uphill, so you will need a car if your mobility isn't very good. We rode our bikes and were close to some great cycling routes.

The room was a little smaller, but still not cramped. The kitchen cupboards were a little dated, and there wasn't a sink. But Belinda did our washing up every day when we left out the dirty crockery. Otherwise, a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Gorgeous property in the heart of Boonah. We stayed there for a wedding nearby and it was the perfect location. Belinda was a fantastic host who had excellent communication and was very welcoming. The ammentities were clean and tidy and the bed was comfy (although slightly squeaky!).

Belinda was absolutely lovely, super easy to talk to and very accommodating. The property itself was excellent and very well presented, it was exactly like the photos. The care and detail is obvious, as Belinda talked me through the room inclusions at the beginning of my stay. I highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay as in for a wedding. The Hosts were very accommodating and helpful if you have any questions regarding the area etc Comfortable bed and plenty was supplied for breakfast. Good coffee machine too

Belinda actually offered us Hideaway #2 which was larger and separate from the main house so more privacy. Great shower, large bathroom with everything you would ever need. We were wanting for nothing.

Honestly, we can't come up with anything that we didn't like. Dennis even set us in the right direction to a local lookout that we didn't know about and it was a lovely little side trip with great views.

Belinda thought of everything. There were treats, ample breakfast supplies, a beautifully appointed room and a lovely verandah on which to sit out and watch the sunset. Also provided was an excellent compendium of all the town had to offer. I highly recommend Hideaway on Hume for a visit to the lovely town of Boonah.
