We were there during Cyclone Alfred. Staff were organised and prepared and kept us informed. Fortunately we were not particularly affected there. We were there for a week, and the hotel has no business centre, so we were working from our room for a week. A special thanks to Beatrice who helped us organise an additional table which made it workable. The location was good for what we wanted, a supermarket, restaurants and cafes etc all downstairs.
The staff member on check in didn't seem to know much and was not particularly helpful. However the rest of the staff made up for this.

We stayed in Room 301 which is a corner suite - King Suite. It was very large and lovely. It included a small kitchen which has cutlery and crockery. It is on the 3rd floor which also has an ice machine located near the lifts, which was very handy. The bar fridge in the kitchen is a very decent size and was super cold. There is also a coffee machine and small cooker (oh and small dishwasher!) Bathroom is HUGE. There is also HUGE windows in the room with blackout curtains. The staff were brilliant. They were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect if you have a function on at Eaton Hills. So close to restaurants and Woolies. I would definitely stay here again.
The view from this room was of the car park. I would consider a room down the opposite end of the building (if you are considering a King Suite) as they appear to look out to the green areas, however there is big powerlines that run pass that space too so that may be a concern for some? I didn't actually see the view from inside these rooms so can not confirm 100% On our first night many people gathered until 2am in the car park and played loud music. The rooms are quiet sound proof however it was still a disturbance. The 2nd night was very peaceful. The bed was soft which made for a lot of movement. Maybe I am just more used to a more firm mattress? The small bar fridge runs quiet loud too but wasn't too much of an issue as we were grateful to have a fridge.

Great location with the shops supermarket and restaurants on the ground floor with the pub across the road and a short ride into town this is my 5 stay at EH I refuse to stay in the city at over priced hotels were staff look like it’s painful to work there and your just another number the staff at the EHH always take pride in there appearance and are always curious and willing to help no matter how small a problem is I’d pay to travel from EHH In a taxi to the city then stay into it’s a well thought out location and off the main road enough to not feel like your in a built up area

Loved the big bed not just two singles pushed together like most hotel rooms. Very spacious and the staff were kind enough to wash and sterilise baby bottles and send up a high chair and cot for us to use.
There was no microwave or plug for the bathroom sink so washing and sterilising bottles wasn’t able to be done in the room but the staff were happy for me to bring them down and they done it for me… I did feel bad and would wait till basically all the bottles were used so i didn’t have to go up and down with bottles all day. A plug and microwave would’ve made it just that little easier traveling with bubs.

Location for concert venue. The room was exceptional despite the inconvenience of a broken lock to the bathroom, but i was compensated with free breakfast during my stay.
Due to the event, I understood why staff was cautious with the public trying to get to rooms. I was stopped at the elevator to ask if I was a guest. Embassared. Yes. Annoyed. Yes. Angry. No. She was doing her job, i wish she had pulled me aside instead of asking in front of 2 other guests

Staff are excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. They helped me find suitable public transport for an event and booked a taxi for me. Very helpful. Eatons Hill Hotel has become my preferred accommodation venue when visiting family over the last 2 years.
Beds could be better. When advertised as "king size", they should be king beds, with king size mattresses. I had two single beds pushed together and the ridge between the two mattresses was uncomfortable. I could not use the middle of the mattress and was effectively reduced to sleeping on one single bed, even though I'd paid for a "king-size" room.

It was ideal for the concert we were attending. shops excellent location for food variety. room was nice bathroom huge. the pub across the road belonging to the hotel was excellent also.
We went to the concert, then proceeded back upstairs to where we had entered earlier in the day for a lovely lunch. Some how we were disoriented by the amount of people and ended up paying a ten dollar entry into a doof doof rave NOISE den. omg .. it was hell. The guy that took our money at the front was not helpful when we asked how do we just get a nightcap drink and perhaps play a pokie machine.. there was no assistance just asked blankly - licence! 10 bucks! found out later I think we could have entered through a different door. without the cover charge. we are in our 60's wt? We went to a bar upstairs thinking it could be quite. purchased a drink then sat down immediately, we were told to finish up and move down stairs. this was a terrible experience with the current generation.

We stayed at Eaton Hills Hotel to attend a concert happening at the venue. The location is great with a supermarket, liquor store, pharmacy and restaurants around the complex offering a variety of options. The staff were friendly and the room was large, exceeding our expectations.
The pillows were very uncomfortable, having one was too little and two was too much so we didn't get a good nights sleep. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant the next morning and ordered off the a la carte menu and it was cold when it arrived which was disappointing.

Friendly, helpful reception staff, allowed us 2 hour early checkin! No charge. Location, convenience of shops and cafes right next door. good for topping up on supplies before we headed off the next day. Also, Free..F. R.E.E. undercover parking Great pub next door, great value and could charge to the room. Spacious room, that was very clean and quiet. Huge bed.
Quite dark inside, and soft bed. but that's a personal taste. Suggest nudest dancing not a good idea, windows are amazing, floor to ceiling and not one way glass 😉

The staff were incredible! (really incredible!) Also, probably one of the best ala carte breakfast menus ever - I'd go there just for breakfast! The tavern (on the same property) has one of the better tavern menus in the area There is a free-to-guests laundry which is particularly useful during a long stay. The bathroom is large, clean and well-lit, - but the floor can get very slippery so ask for extra towels.
We were there for more than a week - only big criticism is that there is no chest of drawers in the room -- which meant that we we couldn't really unpack properly. Hanging space is great - but not everything can be hung.
