This hotel is a great place for a quick stopover. We booked this for my daughter’s dance rehearsals close by and it’s perfect. Good value for money and lovely and clean! Friendly staff and easy check in and out. We love the restaurant food also!

There’s not much to dislike in all honesty. It’s a cheap and cheerful get away. This time we stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which the only thing I would say was the noise from the traffic on the busy road outside is more noticeable than the other room we stayed in beforehand. We had a self contained kitchen which did lack a couple of utensils such as kitchen scissors, egg cups, sieve, and tea towels but this would not put me off staying again.

It was very handy for access from The Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The 24 hr /7 day personal checkin is useful rather than just picking up a key through a lockbox. The location was quiet for sleeping. Having internet access was also good. Close to a railway station the next day to go into Brisbane city for an exhibition. There was adequate parking, though being late in that night, I had to take my gear into the room by double parking outside my room & then park else- where, a short walk from my room. There was adequate safety lighting outside on arrival around mn. For the price, a continental breakfast could be provided to the room & some biscuits supplied to have with a cuppa. Face washers would be useful to be included in bathroom linen too. There were adequate pillows in the room. Coat hangers were available & adequate in number to hang clothes on. Adequate room for luggage & personal items if staying for a while. Chain lock on door for extra security. I had a ground floor room & walk in shower as requested, as I had broken my leg last year & I have arthritis in a lot of joints which makes it difficult to climb stairs & lug baggage.

Nothing really to dislike. The A/C could have been stronger to warm the room as it was a cold night. I was a little cold in bed despite a doona & heating on, but didn’t realise there were blankets in drawers until the morning. Will remember for my next visits.

The staff here are so lovely!! This was our second time staying, it’s easy to locate, in a good spot, staff are lovely, feel safe and secure. Our room this time was modern, clean and comfortable. On our previous visit we had an older room, it was a little more noisy but nothing wrong with it.

Only very small things. Nothing that would make me not want to return. Dirty behind the bathroom doors. I think the cleaners must mop with the door open and forget to mop behind the door. Also, on the second night we had the sofa bed made up for an extra guest.. but no extra towel :(

Location great - right on bus route which made travel in and out of Brisbane city really easy! Superb eating places to cover all tastes just over the road.

I was really hoping to hop in the pool every day - only did it once as it was really cold water... Could have done with some heating. Even though temperatures in the mid 20s, pool was freezing!! Would have liked a few plates and toaster in the room to make our breakfast as we were staying for a week and it's nice to keep food costs under control!

Great location, great big rooms, super comfy king bed, comfortable pillows, walk in wardrobe, 2 bathrooms, small pool. Aircon in each room. Kids loved the massive TV in living room + master room TV. Lovely staff. Free parking. Many food options within walking distance. Washing machine & dryer were an unexpected & very happy surprise. Free wifi. Lovely & new & clean!

A very beautiful apartment, but definitely no frills. Small touches like hand soap in the kitchen would have been great. Dishwasher was unfortunately full of dirty dishes that had obviously sat there a while - took a while to get rid of that smell. A little confusing to find our way around the grounds, but didn't take long to figure it out. Rooms obviously lovely & new but with a few kinks to be ironed out - eg fans & bathroom locks not working yet.

We’re from interstate and came over for a concert (TØP) and found the location perfect for this. Close to the airport and close to the entertainment centre. GYG was close for our post concert feed and Zarrafas for our morning coffees. We stayed in one of the new 2br apartments which was perfect for us (a couple and a single). Balcony was nice and pool looked divine but the weather wasn’t in our favour during our stay so we mostly spent it indoors; complimentary wifi and tv’s with casting capability was very much appreciated.

Minor things that are non-issues: - Ceiling fan squeaks (we used the split system instead) - Bin felt too small (waste was still dealt with) - Tallboy location in main was a slight annoyance as it blocked the path slightly - Drainage of rainwater off the steps leading to the apartments could be better

Great restaurant on site with fantastic food and very good buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Gardens and surrounds well maintained. Easy to access with free onsite parking. 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, with lots of room to spread out. Easy access to second floor with lift. Hotel is also located near a small shopping complex, with lots of restaurant/takeaway options as well.

Housekeeping forgot to stock apartment with tea-towels but quickly and easily resolved with front desk staff making the effort to deliver to us after breakfast. All others items well stocked.

The facility caters mainly to event guests. It has "villas" and "apartments". Our apartment was very spacious. Interesingly the bedroom had one large double bed and the third bed was in the open living room / kitchen space ... realy sudio feeling. It worked for us who arrived on a late flight and left early in the morning. I would not appreciate the set-up for a several day stay.

The facility is on a major road in nothern Brisbane near the airport. So it is not suitable for a visit to the city unless you have a car.

We arrived at the hotel exhausted and stressed after a failed landing in Sydney and diversion to Brisbane. We couldn't have picked a better place to recover and rethink our plans over the two nights we spent here. We were checked in by Joshua who despite being inundated with enquiries (hundreds of people in the same boat as us, we were so lucky to get the last room) was calm and sanguine about the situation, very generously listened to my sleep -deprived rantings and assured me there was wine in the mini bar. We had a great room, were looked after well, changes were seamlessly made to accommodate us spending two nights in the same room, the breakfast and dinner were good, all staff cheerful and helpful. We were very glad of the little pool too and even nipped in and out of central Brisbane for a change of scene, easy enough. We left the hotel feeling rested and taken care of. Highly recommended, especially for stressed out travellers in need of some TLC.

Brisbane International Virginia is located very close to an area with a supermarket, and lots of food places including Guzman, Subway, Zaraffas, and others. Not only that, it is within walking distance to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, or they have a shuttle bus available for booking if you need a lift there. The room was clean, tidy, roomy and functional. We loved the air conditioning unit, because we could keep our room at a comfortable temperature for us. The reception staff were very friendly and super helpful.
