It's close to the airport, there's an airport shuttle between certain hours of the day, and the front desk is open 24 hours. I had a comfortable stay for my layover. the hotel is adequate, but for the price they could spring to some hair conditioner in the toiletries caddies and powerpoints with USB ports for phone charging next to the bed. It's an international hotel, used by business travellers, often the first taste of Australia to overseas visitors - it would be good if its facilities matched up to (much cheaper) airport hotels in other countries.

As above, the lack of phone charging facilities and bathroom ammenities for the price of the hotel. Also, the mattress lacked support.

Excellent location, walking distance to the Domestic Airport and free shuttle to the International Terminal and DFO. Will definitely stay there again! We had a twin share room which was comfortable with all the basics, and ordered burgers and fries for dinner and they were delicious. It was a 4 minute drive to the International Airport so it was ideal to stay there before flying out the next night. We also paid for a late checkout to 5pm.

The door to the bathroom didn't close all the way, but we were too tired to tell anyone. Also, while ordering dinner, the server in the restaurant asked if we were staff because we looked like staff (we're brown-skinned), so that was unpleasant and a bit rude. I spoke with the hotel manager and she apologised and rectified the situation, but it put us off our dinner for a bit. That aside, all the other staff we encountered were friendly and hospitable, so I'd still recommend staying at Ibis Brisbane Airport.

Very easy option for an overnight stay to be near airport! Shuttle to terminals early morning a lifesaver. Friendly staff. We checked in to the Ibis, dropped off our luggage then jumped back into our car to the international car park where we checked the car in for the duration of our overseas trip. Then we caught the free shuttle back to the domestic terminal and followed the signs and walked back to the hotel. Easy easy and all done in 35 mins. Next morning we hopped on the shuttle to the international terminal from the hotel. $8 per person and well worth it. The rooms are clean, quiet and great for an overnight stay. The shower was excellent.

We always stay here for our early morning flights.

We had a late arrival so made sense just to book with the Ibis then travel into Brisbane the next day. We arrived just after midnight, staff at front desk were extremely friendly and ended up giving us a later check out due to the time we arrived. Room was spot on and comfy and following a 13 hour flight we had an amazing nights sleep. Would highly recommend Ibis Brisbane Airport to any arriving on a late night flight and looking for somewhere to rest before travelling on the next day.

Nothing, as far as we are concerned we had a great experience from booking through to the actual stay.

Very difficult to work out how to get there if walking from hire car drop off. Getting back to domestic terminal was easy, though, as it was well signposted in that direction. Staff at reception were lovely. Service in the restaurant was quick, which we appreciated after a long and tiring day. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was great. Quiet except for the occasional other guest letting their door slam. Pretty pricey for the type of room but the convenience of being so close to the terminal when we had an early flight out made it worthwhile.

Besides the obvious convenience of the hotel to the airport, it really is a great Ibis. The rooms are comfortable and I did enjoy my view to the runway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very inviting with a more than satisfactory menu which allows you to while away the time very comfortably. We were travelling to the international terminal and the hotel does offer a shuttle but we walked over to the domestic terminal and caught the inter-terminal bus which was very easy.

Our one night stay was enjoyable as the room was very quiet and well equipped for a short stay.

We arrived after midnight following an international flight. The direct shuttle bus to the hotel from the international terminal only runs for a few hours in the morning, so we had to use the domestic terminal shuttle and then walk from there. This would be a minor inconvenience for some and a bigger problem for others with less mobility or bearing lots of luggage. There was only one staff member at reception when we arrived, so we had to wait 20 minutes in a queue for checking in which was not ideal. A second team member magically appeared to assist others in the queue after I’d patiently waited 20 minutes for my turn. Perhaps I was grumpy after an 8 hour flight but at the time I thought Ibis could do better.

It took me five minutes to walk from the domestic terminal to the hotel lobby, and then it only took a few minutes for me to get checked in. I liked the complimentary breakfast as well. Room/bathroom was clean and very nice/updated, bed was comfortable, free wifi. I had pasta for dinner in the hotel which was amazing, and I got to sit outside while I was eating it. They also offer a package for people who want to "plane-watch." I was very impressed with my stay.

If I had wanted to leave the property and go anywhere besides the airport, it would have been an expensive cab or uber trip. The airport and the hotel are locked in between nothing and the interstate. It would have been impossible to walk to the city. I highly recommend, but only if you are staying briefly between flights. Also, they have an $8.00 shuttle since the international terminal is farther away (2 kilometers) than the domestic terminal (5 min walk). However, if you take the five minute walk to the domestic terminal, there are multiple free busses that will get you to the international terminal within ten minutes. I did that rather than pay for the hotel shuttle and would recommend to anyone that is able. For context, I had two suitcases and managed it fine by myself.

I was welcomed by a friendly reception team who allowed me to check straight in, despite me arriving a bit early. I was given a lovely room on the 7th floor, with a view of Brisbane CBD in the distance, as well as being able to watch a lot of the planes. No complaints about the room - I had a lovely hot shower and a great night's sleep. WiFi was really fast and reliable. Good menu at the restaurant downstairs.

Having recently stayed at a couple of other airport hotels (big chains) the buffet breakfast and different facilities here weren't quite as varied or luxurious in comparison. For example, there's no pool and sauna here (as far as I know). Nor is there room service. It's still a lovely place to stay overall, especially for just a short layover.

Walking distance from domestic terminal. If you get an official invoice from the Ibis desk showing you have stayed a night then you can get a free Airtrain transfer from the domestic to the international terminal which is very quick in the Airtrain but too far to walk with bags. The Airtrain is a great way to get between Brisbane city and the airport, as it's efficient, reliable, quick and frequent. No need to hire a car! This Ibis room had much more space than we've had in other Ibis stays elsewhere. Very good shower with strong water pressure. A resaonable restaurant and bar at ground level of the Ibis hotel. Helpful staff.

Quite expensive, but probably because of its convenient location at the airport.
