Friendly host, excellent welcome and excellent facilities.

The Booking.com ad states 8km from the airport. It is definitely not 8km, more like 17km. Distance from the airport was a huge factor for me when looking for one night accommodation. I had a large amount of luggage and a bicycle so required a Maxi Cab, this turned out extremely expensive and it would have been cheaper for me to stay at the Pullman Airport Hotel. I now know not to trust the Booking.com distances and I will check google maps from now on.

1. Ron is a very friendly, warm host, thank you for giving my family the big help before we checked in. 2. The Daily Self-Serve continental breakfast that includes cereals, yogurt, fruit, toast & spreads, coffee, tea, orange juice & milk is at a time that suits you being self-serve. We also have eggs and honey. 3. FREE washing machine and on-site parking. 4. The place is very clean and lovely to stay more than one night to enjoy the “home time”. 5. A small but beautiful yard with chickens, bees, fruits and vegetables. 6. Everything is great and it’s my mom’s favorite accommodation during our trip. 7. It’s convenient to the airport if you have a car.

The lovely location is 2 blocks from the morning sunrise full view. The 2 bedroom, one bath family apartment is roomy, bright, and extremely well stocked with anything one would like for breakfast. The backyard has chickens and gardens. The location is 4 block walk to train station to go into downtown. Ron was our host and extraordinaire in his support when we asked for advice.

I wish we had realized how lovely it was- I would have booked longer. It’s a bit of distance from airport, but Uber was fine.

It was very feel comfy sitting outside watching the beautiful green garden and peaceful. Chooks were great too. I thought the compost bin was great idea in the kitchen and also was surprised of providing a computer access for the guests and not getting other people to stay if someone is already booked in.

About the location, for elderly people are a bit hard to up and down hill to walk around or finding a shop to buy someing easy without using a taxi and uber. No little shops or a convenience store nearby.

Lovely comfy B&B within easy walking distance of restaurants and seafront. May Thai was recommended by our very helpful and friendly host, we had a really good meal there. Breakfast provided was great including their own eggs which were delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B, they made great efforts at sustainability recycling everything, and making you very welcome.. Thank you Ron & Wendy.

I stay here regularly every few months to have a little solo retreat and get some writing done. I love the space and quietness. I love sitting on the deck looking at the garden and the chooks. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and there are multiple options for breakfast and I always have what I need. Lovely shower with body wash and shampoo.

Very recreating garden which we could be a part of. Silent area and very very clean facilities.All that you need for a great stay, close to the sea, winebar and trainstation. Ron and Wendy are the best hosts ever, I can promise you a laugh with Ron.

The area is quiet. Host is friendly. Good facilities. Comfortable. Quaint decor. Fresh produce. Chickens and Bees. Access to Prime etc.

10am checkout (11am would have been ideal). There was some noise coming from other areas of the house in the early morning which woke my partner up a few times.

i booked at the last minute because a place I chose with a rival booking service didn’t work out. I’m so glad I found this as I can say without doubt it is the best place I’ve ever stayed, having travelled to many countries and stayed in 5* hotels. it provided the perfect blend of comfort and service by Ron & his wife (sort forget your name) and the prepare your own breakfast was perfect. my only regret is I didn’t book earlier and secure 2 nights as I was forced to move somewhere less good for similar money.

Beautifully presented clean and everything you need for a short stay. Hosts are friendly and gave good advice on local area. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the Bayside area.
