So you’ve made the decision to stay in a hotel at Brisbane Airport to minimise the travel time on your overseas trip, but which hotel should you stay at, the Pullman or the Ibis? Let’s identify the basics first, the Pullman and Ibis are next door to each other so location is not an issue. Both are within walking distance of the Domestic Airport or you can take the hotel shuttle for around $8 per person. It’s an overnight stay, with probably an early morning start, so the fundamental requirements are a hot shower, a comfortable bed and an evening meal. We have now stayed at both hotels and both pass the shower and bed benchmarks. The main difference is the bathroom and bedroom in the Pullman are more spacious, so if you crave space, then you will need an extra $60+ for your Pullman space. You have two options for an evening meal, the busy, noisy, family “Cribb Island Beach Club” at the Ibis or the more tranquil “Apron Restaurant & Bar” in the Pullman. Tranquillity does come at a cost. The menu at the Cribb is surf club style, limited but very tasty and the servings are generous. Unless you go for the steak, a main course is around $30. On this trip, as the Cribb deserts were limited, we had desert in the Apron and a second glass of wine, both a bit more expensive than the Cribb, but the inclination to linger is greater. So in summary, it’s the Pullman if space is your thing. Alternatively you could walk to and from the Domestic terminal, stay at the Ibis and treat yourself to dinner and tranquility at the Pullman with your savings. Endless choices, so you are now probably even more confused!

Easy enough to find from the Intl. Terminal. Caught the transfer bus for free to the Domestic Terminal and asked the driver which way to walk to the hotel. Lovely staff at the hotel and an excellent breakfast (paid as an extra). Pity the pool was right in front of the restaurant as it did not make you feel like you could sit around it. We found the restaurant options for dinner weren't great. You either had a very relaxed option next door at the Ibis, or a very flash restaurant at the Pullman. Something in between would have been nice.

Neat and spacious room with two double beds, perfect for a family of four (two adults and two children). The bathroom was clean and generously sized. All essential amenities were provided, including a Nespresso machine. Service at the reception desk was friendly and efficient. We didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on that. Overall, a well-appointed and comfortable room.

If you’re travelling as a family of four with multiple pieces of check-in luggage, you’ll likely need a maxi taxi from 13cabs to get to and from the airport, which costs around AUD 30–38 each way. Considering this additional cost, it might be worth exploring more affordable accommodation slightly further from the airport.

Excellent facilities and friendly staff. We arrived just after midnight, severely jet-lagged after 17 hours of flying and one of us with food poisoning. We were greeted by onsite staff who assisted us to get to our room quickly. The rooms are perfect at Pullmans.. Super comfortable beds and all the essentials we needed were provided. A fantastic selection of teas and coffee, 24 hour room service (which was put to good use) and late checkout if desired. The location is walkable from Brisbane Domestic Airport. The rooms are soundproofed so we slept 13 hours without a single plane noise waking us. Highly recommend 👌

We were arriving late and needed a place close to the airport for a morning flight. It was an easy 8-10 minute walk from the domestic airport. Check in was quick and easy. The place was exceptionally clean. Well appointed with everything you need in a sterile kind of way. The bed was very comfortable. Easy to book the shuttle to international. $8 each. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked lovely.

weird frosted opening between the bed and bath. Very expensive for a basic room. The Ibis was right next door and would have probably been just as good for a shirt overnight stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Pullman. The hotel felt modern, clean, and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy—I had a great night’s sleep even though it's right next to a busy airport. It was surprisingly quiet! One of the best things was the location. It's just an easy 8-minute walk to the domestic terminal, which made my early flight stress-free. The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and professional. Highly recommend for anyone needing a convenient and relaxing stay before a flight.

Don't be tricked by the front desk into getting a flat rate of $10 cab they book to the domestic airport. The lady said she booked one at the front desk and then the doorman said he spoke to a taxi and said he's agreed on flat rate of $10 foe the less than 5 minutes car ride and when we got to the airport charged us $20.. SCAM! and whe i contacted the hotel they apologised for inconvenience. and said to take it up with the Cab company. disappointed in such a lovely hotel. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE REGO AND RECEIPT!!

Very convenient for flying out early, we were at the airport in minutes, didn't even need a shuttle. The room was clean and pretty. The semi open plan bathroom was interesting! Made the room seem larger. Concierge were friendly. Pool looked beautiful.

Signage to walk the short journey from the airport was very confusing, we had to call the hotel for better information. Later we wanted to take an afternoon swim, and we briefly did, but there were literally hundreds of mosquitoes at the pool. You could see them landing on any part of you that wasn't underwater. A warning by staff in advance would have been nice. The restaurant and bar has a noticed no-casual-wear policy, even though everyone who uses the pool walks through that area. My husband only had travel slides with him so we had to eat at the Ibis next door instead. Ridiculous.

The staff were sooo friendly and helpful!!! They made our stay with our small kids very enjoyable and stress free.

The location needs to be better explained from the international airport. Make sure you get the blue bus outside the international terminal or a taxi if you have lots of luggage or young children. It's a mission of on-off buses lugging everything otherwise.

We had a large quiet room overlooking the road. Very handy to the airport and the shuttle was easy to book through reception. The staff were very helpful with assisting taking our bags to the room which was very appreciated with small children in tow. The restaurant at the Ibis next door was very handy, good food and price.

The pillows were too soft for us but everyone has their own preference there. There was (I believe) a long narrow window, covered by a blind between the two beds, when it started raining, you could hear the rain dripping on the windowsill. A tad annoying but some might find it soothing?
