Perfect location for us - right next to the marina for a sailing race. Everything was excellent, particularly the managers! Very friendly and helpful. They printed something for me at no extra charge and gave us milk for our coffee. The bathroom sink soap dispenser overflowed and they fixed it right away. Everything was clean and well stocked mini "kitchen". Room service was good and appreciate that they actually "walk the talk" with respect to not washing towel's every day to conserve water and energy. Very comfortable beds. Quiet.

That the light and fan in the bathroom cannot be turned on separately. This is not unique to this place - so a general complaint about hotels - as the fan is always loud. I get that this is important when the shower is on...but after that its bothersome; especially if you get up in the middle of the night and are trying to be quite. So if they ever do an upgrade - maybe a thing to modify? : ) Got bright early so sun came in around the edges of curtains - a reminder to bring eye covers if that might wake you.

Great location for us, visiting family members in the nearby area. The room was attractive and comfortable, great wifi, extensive choice on tv (Foxtel) and a good bathroom with both shower and bath. The lady on reception was very helpful and friendly and we can recommend this place for sure.

Although the actual location is lovely by the water, we struggled to find it initially as there were 2 streets called Royal Esplanade and Davenport St was tricky to locate and you cannot see the motel sign until you enter the Royal Yacht Squadron.

The hotel is in the grounds of the Yacht Club, it is a very private, quiet and beautiful location. The lady of the reception desk (Savannah) was lovely. Check In was quick and easy. The room was large, clean, and had a fabulous view of Moreton Bay. Everything was walking distance, cafes, restaurants and the beautiful must do Wynnum Wetlands Boardwalk. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there again if in the Brisbane area. The hotel certainly made this a really nice stay.

Breakfast at the adjacent RQYS was very good, with great views across the marina. Very comfortable bed, air conditioner super quiet and efficient. The location was excellent for those who like to be close to the water, with a walking track along the Wynnum/Manly foreshore. Walking distance to a small IGA supermarket and numerous cafes and restaurants. Free on-site parking was welcome.

Bathroom starting to look a bit tired. Toilet cistern took a long time to fill and was noisy.

Excellent location, very beautiful surroundings. Next time I would book a room with a balcony to enjoy the view. Lot's of dining options available, however loved the Yacht club for breakfast and dinner.

The lack of view with a downstairs family room. The powercut with no communication as to what was actually happening and when to expect it to be back on? Security of room access during the power outage etc!

The location is ideal - close to family and right on the water. The Royal Queensland Yacht Club is next door and available to motel guests for all meals and drinks. Parking is free. I understand that the managers, Louise and Martin, are relatively new and were very welcoming and helpful. They are making changes to the property that will make it even better.

The rooms do not have fly screens but I understand that this is being rectified. The shower is in a quite high-sided bathtub, which can be awkward.

It was a good one week stay for us around Brisbane. It was clean and an alright room size, spacious and comfortable enough for us. It has a patio with stand that allows us to dry our wet clothes. What's best, is that they provide nice chocolate sachets that we actually enjoyed most on every morning and evening during our stayed. The staff were actually very friendly enough with our request by providing us a continuous flow of the chocolate sachets! The location is also nice for a walk around and also has easy access to exit Brisbane for day trip to Gold Coast.

The laundry dryer in the laundry room has limited drying abilities.

The staff were exceptional. Louise was especially super friendly with lots of great ideas of where to grab a coffee or other great activities and sights around the area. The room was large enough for our family of 4 and it was well appointed with cutlery and cups and plates/bowls. They even gave us some yummy brownies upon check in! The location is great being close to Manly marina; shops; walking areas and cafes. We loved our stay. I highly recommend this location! Also there was an issue with the pool being out of service and the hotel staff offered us the opportunity to swim at the community pool free of charge, which was extremely generous of them to offer us this option. Thank you again for making our stay memorable.

The rooms are a little dated but this wasn’t a big issue for us. Otherwise there isn’t anything I would recommend changing.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well presented, The Motel is a close walk to Manly Village (20min) and nearby there are a number of cafes /restaurants including boating and yacht clubs serving breakfast, lunches and dinners all with lovely views across the marinas. Cafe a la Mer was our favourite for breakfast. On Saturday wandered through the vibrant "Farmers" Market which is a must if you are staying over the weekend. Having stayed in Brisbane many times this was our first on the Southeast coast and recommend as a great stay for a long weekend.

The location was great. Access to eating and drink facility across from the motels. Friendly and efficient cleaning staff.

The rooms were kept clean but the motels are tired. A small improvement would be replacing the rusty toilet roll holder for example. A full kitchen was not expected but a toaster would have been nice.
