The location was great for us, being a short drive from shops, restaurants, the ferry wharf and the Old Lighthouse (the venue for the wedding we were attending). The staff - Kerry and his wonderful dog Bay - did an excellent job of checking us in quickly and efficiently, and our stay was comfortable, clean, and all we needed for a short long-weekend stay over Easter.

The soundproofing wasn't great, so we were able to hear people moving around the motel and bags being dragged around. That said - there were no late night or early morning noise disruptions so we were still able to get a good night's sleep on the 3 nights we stayed.

I can't speak highly enough of the support that was given me and my colleagues during our recent stay which was during Ex-Cyclone Alfred. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the owners regularly checked on us and the other guests and assisted us to stay calm in an 'unknown and ever changing' environment. The beds and pillows were so comfy we all slept through the wild weather!! We were also extremely lucky to be one of the rare group of buildings not to lose power. The location was perfect with the RSL across the road and other restaurants and shops close by. Thank you so much and I would definitely be happy to stay at the motel again, but maybe without all the drama.

Ex-Cyclone Alfred - no fault of the motels though!!!

The location was amazing. So close to the ferry for Stradbroke and right up the road to the restaurants and supermarkets. We had booked a room via this website for a twin, but turns out it was actually a queen. The receptionist was super helpful and shuffled other rooms around to accommodate us. We also wanted to book an additional night for our gear while we were on the island and she sorted it for us ASAP. When we couldnt make it back in time to grab out stuff before checkout, they kindly brought our stuff down to reception and stored our cold food in their fridge. This is next level service and we would definitely stay there again.

The location of the Hotel was amazing, close to shops, restaurants and boutiques. We specifically booked this hotel as we were going to Day on a Green at Sirromet Winery, and it was the perfect location. Maybe a 15 min Uber ride! The Front of House team were really friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy. Quiet and well kept.

The room was small but well appointed. Nothing to complain about! The room is perfect for a short stay to see a concert, I probably wouldn't recommend a chill out stay where you spend alot of time in your room, but for a transit or gig stay, it is perfect!

A really nice and quiet area, away from the big hustle and bustle. A collaboration with the RSL across the road is absolutely brilliant - you get meals for member's prices when showing your room key. I was a very late check in, it was absolutely no hassle for the staff, the room was clean, the building is fairly modern looking and not too far of a walk to see the sights of Cleveland.

It is a fair bit of a drive from the city if the traffic is particularly heavy, and in the way of activities for single younger people, there isn't a whole lot to do in Cleveland. However, this isn't the motel's fault. The only real issues I had with the place are; the doors are a little thin, so if you've come in late and need a bit more of a sleep in the corporate clients may wake you up if you're a light sleeper; and by the time I arrived the internal carpark was full, as some tradies will park their trucks/vans in there and it results in too small a space for an SUV.

Our room was comfortable, spacious & very clean. We stayed one night but if staying longer a microwave would be handy. The hot water was great, it didn't fluctuate as most motels do.

We were on the 3rd floor which was fine but hubby is a smoker & was up & down the flights of stairs frequently to get to the smoking area. No kitchenette or any heating of food of any kind. The internet was adequate but bandwidth probably needs increasing.

Located near the ferries that go out to North Stradbroke Island it is in convenient walking distance. Really appreciated the access to Redlands RSL with member meal costs. Also a great cafe just across the road. Would have been nice to use the pool if weather was warmer. Very comfortable bed & room facilities. Microwave & toaster in laundry. Good to have access to washing machine & drier. Handy parking onsite. Pleasant walks along the waterfront to parks, hotel & art gallery nearby. A short drive to the shops for everything needed. Art gallery, library & Performing Arts Centre nearby. Kerry & Bronwyn are very helpful & caring hosts. We appreciated their advice for getting to know the area.

Lovely large room with comfortable bed and everything we needed in the room. Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. Close to RSL which was wonderful with great food. The pool looked amazing. Will have to stay in summer to have a swim.

Staff are lovely and welcoming. Pool facilities are nice. Great location - walking distance to RSL; Raby Bay Marina (restaurants) & Cleaveland Central (shopping) are both less than a 5 minute drive. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable 👌

I had a heavy suitcase and was situated 2 flights of stairs up. The building is older and wear and tear is obvious in some places; however, if you're looking for somewhere to lay your head while you explore the area, this hotel is ideal.
