I was dubious about staying in accommodation above a pub, but the pub was beautiful and the facilities were fantastic. I really liked the fact you could order from the pub menu and have the food delivered to your room! The location was perfect for what we needed, there were bus stops right outside the accommodation and a large shopping centre approx 10 min bus ride away.

Sometimes it was a bit noisy in the hallway at night and the doors to the rooms slammed if left to close by themselves. My kids sleep through anything so wasn't too much of an issue. the only issue I found was trying to fit my kettle under the bathroom tap to fill it up.

The staff were so lovely especially when they realized that I didn't know there was no elevator in the hotel, as I have to use a walker due to a progressive health issue. They did everything to help me, from helping me with luggage even through to carrying my bathroom bag too full of bathroom products as I surfed the walls! The cleaning staff were just so wonderful l can't praise them high enough as was the wait staff.

That my room was so far away from the bathroom! But hey gave me exercise.

For the price this is an excellent stay, the rooms are reasonably updated, very clean and also very quiet. The bed was good and the room had the basic requirements of a motel room. Bistro had the typical menu of a pub, food was reasonable value and what we had was good. Not only that I left my watch in the room and they posted it back to my home address, great friendly service all round.

Not really any issues, everything meet or exceeded expectations.

The location was amazing very quiet bathrooms was spotless clean the room we stayed in clean tidy comfortable bed the food was yum and fresh delicious the staff was amazing I would recommend this place thank you nightcap

The cleaning staff were so lovely and helpful. Made it really nice staying there and felt very relaxed around them.

Weird smell in room

All staff were extremely helpful and very respectful and very welcoming. A free beverage to stay at nightcap shows how thoughtful and caring staff offer at hotel "Nightcap!" comfortable bed, bottled water in the fridge was appreciated, towels and toiletries supplied for shared facilities, plus more available, recently renovated

hallways smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, shower drains were slow to drain in shared facilities, fire alarm went off on the middle of the night (luckily a false alarm), people coming in and out of their rooms was noisy (constant auto door closing up until around midnight)

The room had a very nice view and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and tidy with complimentary tea & coffee with some little snacks. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant and the staff were fantastic.

The shared bathroom as we are older and have many WC visits throughout the night. But with everything else in play it was the only thing I am able to fault.

Room very clean, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, tv, ensuite.

Needs a reading light both sides of bed. Sink a bit small. Couldn’t fill jug easily had to use a cup. Washing face a challenge.

Room was clean and comfortable and very convenient to have a meal and entertainment

Being directly above a drinking and gambling establishment it was a little noisy at some points during the evening after 10pm
