We loved the relaxed atmosphere in this gorgeous property. It was very clean and well maintained. Our room had a lovely balcony which we used a lot and was an unexpected extra that we appreciated. The bathroom had a fantastic mirror and great lighting for getting ready. The water pressure in the shower was perfect and it was nice and hot. WiFi was quick and easy to connect to and the air con worked perfectly. Ideal location if you are going to something at The Powerhouse like we were. From what we could see, all the rooms looked very pretty. We couldn't fault it!

The location was excellent for the Comedy Festival events we were attending at the Power House, and it was also handy for the city. The room was lovely, comfortable bed, good shower, well equipped. Nice continental breakfast, which also allowed us to meet and chat with the other guests.

The plumbing is a bit noisy, but it is an old house. Not a major issue by any means though.

The location was excellent for us as we could walk to The Powerhouse for a night out of entertainment. It was clean and tidy. Great communication. Such a pretty place to stay and it included a continental breakfast. Very happy. Would stay here again.

Wasn't able to close the windows completely being an older Queenslander style. There were shutters which we could close, which was good.

A perfect place to allow us to recover from our 24 hour journey from the UK. Edward Lodge was very comfortable and offered the simple services we needed. Phil and Colleagues were super friendly and helpful. The location in New Farm acted as a perfect place to bookend our wonderful visit to Australia. Thank you Edward Lodge.

Breakfast is self service, and the hotel environment is very clean and quiet. Definitely worth the price! Comfort is the most important thing. Additionally, transportation is convenient as it’s close to a bus stop. There’s also a park and ice cream nearby! Plus, you can take a boat to other places. Amazing!

Our stay at Edward Lodge was a very nice experience. The property is charming and has a lovely design. The garden is small, cute and cozy, and has a nice atmosphere. The other guests were considerate of noise levels, which contributed to a flawless experience for us. Our host was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Upon requesting via email whether they could accommodate our dietary preferences for breakfast, they promptly called us before our check-in time to discuss the options available to us (which were plenty). The location is simply perfect. It's situated close to New Farm shops and cafes, while being far enough away to provide a tranquil setting. Thank you so much! We had a perfect anniversary celebration.

A delightful hotel with a bed, spacious and tastefully decorated room, and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast (with multiple gluten free options, which was a real bonus). Situated in the charming New Farm neighbourhood just round the corner from a family park and a number of coffee shops. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location. We had a reservation at Bos Restaurant in the city and it was only a $14 uber ride. Ample choices for breakfast - it's a DIY service. Tea/coffee and bikkies were available in our room which was lovely.

A full length mirror attached to the inside of the cupboard would be great! Advice on what to do with the key upon check-out would also have been useful.
