Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, offering easy access to The Valley, Southbank, the City Centre, beautiful parks, pubs and restaurants and of course, the view of the Story Bridge was just amazing. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff truly made our experience exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, always friendly, and catered for every request. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.

We loved our stay there: there was a parking slot waiting for us when we arrived at 6pm, everything smelled good when we arrived, Chris (the owner?/manager?) is extremely helpful and accommodating (he let us use the car park even after we had checked out), the room was very clean and quiet, the location is great (a 10min walk to the CBD thanks to the new bridge), the bed was very comfortable and staff gave great attention to detail to make visitors feel comfortable. A gem!

The moment I walked in the door to check in I was greeted (even though the man at reception was serving other guests). After a few minutes he again told me he wouldn’t be long as he served the other guests, I waited maybe 5mins- He was concerned about my waiting and ensured I felt noticed and welcomed (I did). He was so friendly and I could tell he took his job seriously, he was really the most loveliest man and the perfect person to have checking you in. What a breath of fresh air. The room was large and clean!! We stayed in a “Hotel room”, it came with a large balcony that we sat on and enjoyed a drink at night and coffee in the morning. The room included coffee, milk, water, biccies, all different types of glasses/cups including bubbly glasses!! (not just wine glasses). The room was clearly old but it was well kept, very clean, organised and spacious. The bathroom was big, the shower was interesting and maybe slightly dangerous getting in and out but we loved it, the shower head was large and water pressure hard 👌🏾 There is no lounge in the room. There is parking onsite that you cannot reserve but we managed to get a spot very easily. The location is perfect! 200m to the water, not much further to the ferry, great way to get around. There are cafes, bakeries, bars and more all nearby. I would definitely stay here again. For a first time in Kangaroo Pt I was very impressed, great night away for us!! Joey’s for dinner was really nice, great view but Medley for brekky was TERRIBLE, food was ok but the service was just crap. Thanks for having us Mondo and reminding me good service still exists!

We loved our 2 night stay. The room was a good size with 2 windows and a large balcony. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location and parking were great for us. It was a lovely walk into the city over the fantastic new Kangaroo bridge and the ferry is only a short walk away. So many places to eat nearby too. We particularly enjoyed the Japanese restaurant right next door, Nobo and would definitely recommend it if you are staying at Il Mondo.

Booked last min as we had been given tickets for the Gabba 😍 and we also was making up for a missed birthday night in the city for my birthday due to tropical cyclone Alfred 😞 we got a room upgrade and everything from check in to check out was outstanding. The room was spotless with plenty of home comforts , toiletries, Water and milk in the fridge. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel. Great views of the city and the Story bridge hotel across the road serving great food. Thank you for a great stay only wish it could have been longer xxxxx

This was my second stay at Il Mondo & it was an absolute delight to stay here again. Il Mondo is located in a wonderful spot and is an easy walk to all the wonderful attractions of Brisbane City. The rooms are very comfortable and clean - with room to spread out & enjoy the balcony. The staff are friendly & helpful and there is a warm and relaxed feeling to the hotel. We will definately be back to stay again. Thank you to Il Mondo.

The greeting by reception staff was so welcoming. The gentleman was the most courteous informative friendly and professional person we have ever encountered in our Australian travels. We were guided to our room, which was lit and air-conditioned, ready for our arrival. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel. Clean comfortable and well-appointed rooms and facilities. Very friendly staff and great service. We will return when we next stay in Brisbane. Great location as well. Even our checkout was a pleasant experience.

It all began at Reception when I was greeted by a lovely man. It has been many years since I have received such a welcome. The gentleman could certainly teach the current generations and large hotels how to treat guests. I would go back to II Mondo rather than the city and use the city cats or walk bridge once completed to go into Brisbane. The surroundings were beautiful and inviting. Coffee shops, hotel-it is all within walking distance. The rooms were exceptional. Spotless and the decor and other were thoughtful and appropriate. A wonderful place and I would highly recommend choosing II Mondo for your next stay.

I loved every aspect of our accommodation and stay.

We picked this hotel because of it's location which allowed easy walking access to the city, South Bank and the museums or using public transport - the river ferry service. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms we very clean and comfortable . There was easy access to food nearby. We absolutely loved the in house Japanese restaurant (MOBO) for dinner and the Story Bridge Hotel was just across the road for meals all day.

From the moment we parked in secure free parking, and entered into the charming lobby I knew this was the best decision. The highest level of service from Chris and team. Greetings were warm and friendly, extra info presented with enthusiasm and smiles. The room was impeccably clean, room amenities spot on with eco friendly toiletries, coffee,tea and water in room. Room was spacious and offered a lovely large balcony, we heard no noise from any other guest inside the hotel. Nice large walk in shower. Great Wi-Fi, outstanding location with restaurants and ferry close by. I highly recommend this superior accommodation. You will not be disappointed.
