Everything was quite nice actually.

The reception is only available from 10AM so if you arrive early impossible to drop your luggage. Also could not find the reception hours info nowhere ..

The location was perfect for me. The friendly staff where also working hard every day keeping the place clean. Not an easy job with 20yr something males. I would highly recommend this place and I will, the next time I'm in Brisbane.

I was there for ten days, in that whole time I only had a problem with one other fellow traveler. The staff where a great help in dealing with this. I imagine any problem isn't to big or small for them to help you with. They are very capable and the facilities are first rate.

Beds were super comfortable and the bunks had everything you’d need. The air con was lovely after a hot day. The bathroom was always pretty clean but could use a really deep clean. The common spaces were great. They had one event the week I was there but it was a great way to meet people. They should do more of that.

Sometimes it feels very weird as people are living there and seem to have extra privileges like freezers and extra storage. The kitchen was well equipped but could be organized and deep cleaned. Make sure to keep your food stored very well as there were bugs crawling all around the food and kitchen tools. The location was fine but a bit far from things. Will improve when the new train opens!

Everything about Breeze Lodge is fantastic. From the super friendly and accommodating front crew, to the perfectly made beds and soft blanket ready for you and the clean and fresh facilities. And then , the tiny walk to Southbank boardwalk and night photos to die for. Secure, safe and all round the BEST backpackers i have ever stayed at, and trust me, I've been at a few. Thanks Breeze Family, I will 1000% be back !!!!

Tempted to just use this spot to add even more things about Breeze Lodge, but I'll control myself ( did i mention the supern secure rooms? )😅

Amazing staff at the front desk! Reaching out to check on my journey to the hostel if all is well and I am managing to get there ok and in good time. Providing verbal tour via property at check-in and recommending places to eat&drink, also sightseeing in the area. 😻 Great privacy in dorms - Ur bunk has curtains, it's open socket to charge ur device, Safety box to each bunk - u need ur own padlock.😎 Bathroom super clean provided hand soap.🧖 Kitchens and common rooms are well equipped and with great wall art. Over all great vibes.🪆

Was difficult getting there from the airport, but I arrived late. Perhaps easier during the day

Very chill vibe with all the travellers and a great opportunity to meet new friends! The employees are very kind and are giving their best to make the travellers stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooftop is amazing to chill or to do some work on a laptop. I really liked that!

Unfortunately, there weren't enough power outlets in the lounge areas. The space in my 4-bed room was also pretty limited. I would have expected a bigger space for that price. But it was still nice to be in that Hostel!

The bunk beds are roomier than you'd expect, and you get a private locker in your room. The vending machines have a good selection of snacks and essentials. Each floor has microwaves and fridges, if you're a person who gets back really late at night and needs food this is great. There is a bus stop immediately outside - super convenient.

Vending machines aren't checked for O.O.D., I did get some expired milk in there, and I feel there should be more bathrooms on the floors for when the share room bathroom is occupied.

Love the place,it's quiet clean and friendly staff, inspired by how this place came about heard the story from the owner herself.Good job. Love the pop corn night it's was fun. A wonderful experience. Special mention to Robin such a sweet Lady God Bless her heart. I forgot the name of lady that did the pop (my apologies)she is also sweet, always greets me when I walked through the door. It's the small talk that makes the day appreciate her. NOT forgetting the other 2 ladies that work hard to keep the place clean thank you and off course the guy (apologies if I identify the person wrongly). Thank you all for making my stay safe,comfortable and peaceful

I think it's only the flies in the kitchen that is annoying because of the smell of the delicious food prepared by those back packers. If one or two can be bought and placed in the kitchen and sitting areas to catch them . Others wise nothing bad

I had a wonderful stay at Breeze Lodge and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The location is fantastic, easy access to the city. The Kangaroo Point area itself is one of my favourite location in Brisbane, the sunset from the cliffs is just one of the best with the city view.The staff at Breeze Lodge were also super helpful and always ready to assist with any questions or needs I had.Few reviews have mentioned quite a lot of long term guests stay there while it might be true, I didn’t think it was an issue all the guests were very friendly and approachable. The wine and cheese night was a plus on the rooftop, well organised.
