The customer service was amazing and beer and champagne at check in was a nice touch. First time staying at a hotel where my back didn't hurt in the morning too.

This is a big hotel just opposite the hospital (this meant ambulance sirens and the helicopter arriving at times). I was attending a conference at the conference and exhibition centre and it was a good 20 minute walk to get there each morning. Using your room key to access the right floor of the building was a bit complicated (which order to swipe and press). The restaurant was pretty expensive. The price with breakfast included was expensive and all the prices in the restaurant were pretty expensive. Within an hour of closing after breakfast, lunch or evening meal they were clearing up - because of the prices it wasn't well frequented. Rooms on the other side of the building might well be brighter and with a nicer view - we were in the shade all day and looked across to the Ronald McDonald house.

Location was epic. We used those electric scooters to ride over the bridge to check out the new Star Casino and CBD. Awesome experience that was. Courtyard by Marriot is virtually at the entrance to the gardens, which lead to South Bank with all bars/eateries/restaurants. Beautiful walkthrough and to those that love gardens/plants/tranquility, then this is for you. Breakfast here was 10/10. Omg! The Avocado/fetta/poached eggs were brilliant. Coffee was excellent. Service on reception was excellent. Super friendly staff and the rooms were cleaner daily too. There’s nothing to complain about here. Great value for money and a great location. Comfortable beds, clean and quiet with no noise disturbance from other rooms or the neighbourhood despite being in the middle of the city. A water refill station was nearby the room, and the convenience of onsite cafe/restaurant if needed. No issues with access to room or carpark etc.

Parking is a separate fee of $40/day. Check out was 11am which was helpful, however the later check in was a little inconvenient at 3pm rather than 2pm.

It was a corner room on the top floor (8th floor above ground) with a great view, but I suddenly felt suffocated as soon I realized there is no balcony or openable windows, but I liked it because the air conditioning is by DAIKIN the highly reliable company, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern. The beds were high quality mattresses, and even with one king and two singles comfortably lying next each other, the room was still comfortable. The shower and toilet are very spacious and clean. The shower, toilet, and sink are my favorite of all the hotels I have stayed in.

There are no balcony nor openable windows on my floor but you still can enjoy the beautiful river view. Another thing i didnt like about is the water sever in the corridor didnt get replaced after everyone fills up their own bottle. I asked for a replacement but i didnt happen before i checked out.

Nice big comfortable room, nice spaces around the hotel. Comfy bed. Quiet. As a plus, the girl with glasses at the front desk was so lovely and helpful. She made me feel so welcome

They charge $8 for room service even though the restaurant is literally a few floors below and there's a lift. What exactly is the $8 fee for?! It's cheaper to get external deliveries lol. The pool could be warmer.
