Bed was good. Location excellent. Ground floor cafe terrific.

The bathroom was not suitable for a disabled person. Yes, there was a seat in the shower area; but the floor and drainage was poorly designed. The water flowed under the door into the hall. The whole bathroom became slippery and a danger for me to walk on. I had to place towels over most of the floor to prevent the water spreading. The towel rails were tiny. The basin was small. All in all the bathroom needs renovation. The bottom of the door had swelled due to it being soaked in water over time. It needs a rubber strip on the bottom.Also the valet parking area is a nightmare!

We LOVED the view from room 917 thank you for putting us on that side. The Beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable, and the Staff were stand out exceptional. They were genuinely friendly EVERY time we dealt with them, they were dressed impeccably and every single one of them went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The concerierge Team were outstanding. The decor in Breakfast area is beautiful; the food was top class and again the staff excelled. Well done to all involved. We have stayed at other Ridges venue's and were happy, but this visit was the best ever. You all excelled Thank you.

We did put out our save the environment card for no Housekeeping while we were there and it offers a $10 drink voucher each day but we did not get that maybe look at how that is given out to people. Its not nice to offer it and then we not get it.

We recently stayed at Rydges Southbank for a special birthday celebration and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Every interaction was met with genuine smiles, attentive service, and a willingness to help with anything we needed. Our room was spotless, beautifully presented, and offered every comfort we could ask for. The little touches and attention to detail made the experience feel extra special. The location is fantastic, with everything we needed within walking distance, but it was really the people who made this stay so memorable. Thank you to the entire Rydges Southbank team for making our celebration so perfect. Your outstanding hospitality and thoughtful service made our time here unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the vibrant South Bank precinct, with easy access to restaurants, the Brisbane River, and cultural attractions. Our room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and great amenities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Would 100% recommend Rydges South Bank to anyone visiting Brisbane and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

The accessibility to the convention center was absolutely outstanding. There is a direct passage from inside the hotel to the third floor of the convention center, which was incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to walk to many parts of Brisbane from the hotel, so the location is truly excellent. The staff were all very friendly, the room was clean, and everything worked perfectly.

Everything else was great, but the sink and faucet in the bathroom were a bit inconvenient to use.

The fact that the Hotel was close to everything, including QPAC where we went to see cirque Alice. It was so nice to come back and relaxed after attending the show. The Ferry was great and so close to you it was fantastic to ride up and down the river and see Brisbane from the river. The breakfast was fantastic 😋 and so very efficiently organised, the variety was wonderful. We also liked that you used the eco friendly attention to the room cleaning, one doesn't need fresh towels everyday , or the bed made we are quite happy to do that.Our view from our 10th floor was so interesting.

Great location & the room was very comfortable.

Cooked room service breakfast arrived cold & was missing part of the order. Was ridiculously expensive. I had to speak to Reception to have the $10 Go Green Credit applied to our bill (which I believe should have been automatic as we had the tag hanging on the outside of our door the whole time we were there) & get refund on missing food item so couldn't check out online. Also, just a thought, provide more coffee pods/sachets & milk if you are encouraging guests to not get housekeeping during their stay.

We loved the room. Very spacious and comfortable.

The only thing we were disappointed in was, when we went to go for a swim on Saturday afternoon, there was a private function in the pool area and we were not able to access the pool. We understood that it was possibly more profitable to host that function but not a great look for everybody else staying there on that day. Also noted that there is another area that could be used for a private event with the pool area being available to both the private event and the people who paid good money to stay there. Food for thought?

The pillows are brilliant. Room was great with a wonderful view of south bank and city. Food is fine. Breakfast menu app didn’t bring all of the menu so I couldn’t order what I wanted. Also menu app was supposed to be available to order breakfast at 7 but not open until 7.15. I only order toast and coffee which didn’t arrive until 7.50. I had nowhere to be but a little later home than expected. On the upside, the valet parking was much easier this time. No lineup and drove straight in near the front entrance. Very convenient location. My concert was right next door at Convention Centre. Staff are excellent. The positives far outweigh any negatives.

Location was unbeatable. Walking distance to everything we needed. Room was a good size.

We found the beds way too soft and the pillows too hard and big (even though 6 pillows were provided - they were all the same) When we drove up to the property they were very busy and seemed to be struggling with the influx of people arriving. I was left to my own devices to try and find a suitcase trolly as well as find someone to talk to about valet - it was stressful as my car was blocking people but I had no where to go. Another arriving guest kindly helped me with my bags. (My partner was with my sleeping baby and unable to help me)
