Convenient and uncluttered style. Restaurant/bar really nice and we enjoyed a glass of wine and some light food. Enjoyed breakfast on second morning (we admit to going to NoDo on day one). Very convenient location and close to pubic transport and the river and catamarans - we travelled down river a few stops for the experience and a really quick trip into eh city. Having a balcony was a nice extra. And close to QPAC to see Jesus Christ Superstar. Well done.

No issues except the bath was a bit hard to climb into for a shower.

Restaurant

The shuttle, which we had to pay for, to the airport broke down just before the international terminal. The driver didn’t know how to open the passenger door so we had to climb out the drivers door, retrieve our own bags and walk the remaining distance. It was a bit of a hike. No follow up from the shuttle service or hotel. Very disappointing. Also, I had received an email prior to our trip re: a view and stay promotion that I replied to with our requested date and never received a reply.

Booked Mantra as I was due in Brisbane for my graduation ceremony. It was central to everything, not far from the graduation venue, lots of restaurants, cafes and amenitites nearby. Staff was very friendly and they were able to check us in earlier.

The bed was too hard for me, but that's just personal preference. The cafe/bar downstairs closed early and we were unable to get a place to drink or sit (for 2 ppl) and it was still around 12/1pm

Place was clean and tidy and the location was excellent.

I had to pay a deposit for the room. ( not unusual) After not receiving it back after 10 days, I contacted them and they apparently processed it. I shouldn't have to contact them and as of writing this (12 days after check out) it has still not arrived in my account. I always leave my room exceptionally clean and I am sick of companies making interest with my money in their banks. I will not stay with them again due to me having to chase up my money. I will not be recommending them to anyone.

Room size was amazing and unusually big. Check in lady was lovely. Your website says onsite parking is $40 and does not explain that its valet parking. The cost is actually $50 and I also didn't know that I could leave my car in Valet parking with Mantra all day if I wished to look around Southbank. I wasn't told that until the valet gentleman brough my car back. One more small detail, I was told that my bond $50 could be used for valet parking when I check out but when I went to check out the attendant said no that is not possible, we need to check your room.

Overall it was a great stay. Just the miscommunication about the car was really all I could fault.

Loved the breakfast and that it was included in the price. Room was well appointed. Staff were very helpful, quick to clean up the broken glass and liquid and provide first aid. Above and beyond, they replace the bottle.

Fridge shelf collapsed when a bottle was placed in it. Smashed on the floor and cut husband hand. Shower/bathroom was in need of modernisation. Not a fan of shower in the bath but it was for only one night.

Location was magnificent, walking distance to the mall, Southbank to the performance of arts building, markets and casino. Restaurants not far. Both Train Stations were not far from each other and a mini mart right next door. Will be back for sure.

Sorry cannot answer this question as there was nothing to dislike about the property. The staff was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. There is nothing more I can say about the property.

Location was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were 7 of us consist of elderly parents and young kids and we were able to booked two family rooms. Breakfast was also lovely in a cafe downstairs. The service was great. Staff were professional and kind and helpful.

None that i could think off. Maybe couple bottled of water in a room would have been nice. Or maybe a water dispenser so people can fill up their water bottles.

The location is excellent. Easy walk to South bank parklands and across to the city. Easy walk to City Cats, Train station. Room was very spacious, with a small self contained kitchen area with plenty of utensils if you wished to eat in. View of city from room was spectatular.

Maybe a couple of extra pillows in the cupboard as I have a bad back and need support with pillows

Large room- small overgrown balony so no view. Bed was very comfortable and king size so plenty of room to move about.

Cupboard hanging space was almost non existent. Only a tiny area for pants/dresses (had to remove the ironing board and suitcase stand to access it). Couldn't really even hang tshirts and jumpers properly as the safe sat too high in the 'cupboard'. For such a large room, expected to be able to hang more than 5 items of clothes.
