When we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite which was enormous! We enjoyed being in an historic property and would love to know more about the history of the building. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the breakfast staff. Next time I go to Brisbane, I will definitely stay here.

The bathroom was good but the shower, over bath was difficult to get into as it was very high. It would not be easy for someone with any mobility restriction. Nevertheless, I imagine that changes to a heritage building would be difficult, and it certainly didn't detract from our stay.

Brilliant location. Room was big and roomy as was the bathroom. Bit of old world charm. Very clean. Beds were so comfy. Love the Apelles toiletries. Have even bought them myself online after visiting. Very friendly staff. Room was tidied everyday, although I consider us good guests as we do keep it tidy. Close to shops and the Casino. We had parking built into our offer which is a must. Complimentary robes were a nice touch after a lovely bath. Would definitely stay again if I get another reduced stay option. 👍

My only complaint would be the lifts were out from the carpark to Reception but we managed and a staff member did offer his help. Maybe packaged biscuits in the coffee station in the room.

It is a very unusual and quirky hotel.The history of the place is 5 stars, and it's old charm hard to find anywhere else. The lady on reception was very welcoming and professional. The room I was assigned was spectacular, with my own balcony. After a day touring I arrived back to lovely card and fruit platter...which was a lovely surprise. All in all, I enjoyed my stay but I'm sure it would not be for everyone.

I'm not sure it's a 5 star facility as once again (like other Oz hoteI'm not sure it's a 5 star it falls down in a restaurant/ bar offering. When I arrived I went to the bar at 7.20pm and ordered a drink and picked up a menu. I was told I had 6 minutes to order as it was closing. It seems that a lot of renovation was underway..lifts etc. It had a lot of history but lacked atmosphere. It could be 5 stars but needs a lot of work and investment.

All in all a great stay....loved our suite..only disappointment was a mistake in our room service dinner order. I spoke to 3 different staff members to rectify problem, which they did but with an attitude that made me feel like I was asking too much...no one gave a simple apology which would have gone a long way. Also my little boy was disappointed that there was no dessert options for him, and when I asked if they could bring him some ice cream I was told " no". Without any other words...found it rude and uncaring.

Lovely historical building with interesting features. Huge room with amazing bathroom. Very comfortable beds and good pressure on shower. Also a bath. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice sheets and towels. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We didn’t use the restaurant but we had room service the first night- delicious pasta dish and not stupidly expensive. Just off the main centre with shops and restaurants. Lovely market around the corner ( I think it was Saturday) with crafts, food etc. free buses run around the centre and stop by the botanical gardens. River boats are also very cheap…just tap on and off with your credit card.

The room could have done with a freshening up with a new coat of paint.

Beautiful heritage building, lovely large guest rooms and ensuites. Very comfortable bed. Some issues with TV streaming. Disappointed that I was unable to open the French doors out on to verandah/terraces as I would have enjoyed sitting out their in the evening for tea or wine, and to enjoy the view. Restaurant did not seem to be open except for breakfast, and lounge bar closed quite early. Might be time to replace the carpets in public spaces with something a bit ' lighter' as it was rather dinghy. I hope that the hotel stays operating, and does not close anymore of its bar/food offerings now that the Casino moved down the road. It is a beautiful place and deserves being kept 'special'. Greatly location too, still ery close to the new Star Casino complex with its endless food and bar choices, easy to walk across the new 'Neville Bonner' Bridge and go to Qpac, museum, the 'Eye', and down to Southbank. A short few blocks up to Queen Street Mall, or around to Botanic Gardens. Will definitely return, and also recommend.

The customer service from check in was incredible, we were greeted by friendly staff who offered to grab our bags from the car and take them to our room, check in was a smooth process. The room was stunning, we stayed in the king suite and it looked exactly like the pictures. Breakfast in the lab was excellent and came out very quickly despite an almost full restaurant and again the customer service was outstanding. Mini bar had a range of goodies aswell as room service that was prompt with our late night cravings. We will absolutely be back. 😌

The only constructive feedback I have is the aircon wasn’t great, we slept with the door to the balcony open as it was quite hot in the room. Perhaps a fan could be put in the rooms to aid this?

Great location, right in the heart of downtown. Very easy to walk to Queen street. Very beautiful hotel with a lot a of history. Massive ceilings and the room was very nice with a comfortable bed. I showed up early to the hotel and they were able to check me in early.

One thing that did bother me was the noise from the park outside, which was little loud on the weekend. There are some bars across the street that play loud music at night that I could hear from my room. Other than that it was a great hotel and quiet for most of my stay.

The building was an exceptional example of the era in which it was built. High ceilings, grand staircases, lifts, chandeliers etc.. all very beautiful, and spacious. The location was perfect, able to walk around the city, southbank, and the new casino. My husband and I were celebrating our 60th birthdays and we were pleasantly surprised by a congratulatory bottle of bubbles! Very thoughtful, and much appreciated. But mostly the staff were happy, friendly, helpful, and like family... they all helped make the experience one I will not forget. Thank you Treasury Hotel

I was surprised by the Treasury. The room we had was exceptional. High ceilings, ample space, clean and very ornate particularly the bathroom. Staff were AMAZING. Concierge gent was a delight and the lady on reception was so helpful.

Only negative but not really was that the included breakfast had limited options. But the options there were the ones we would have chosen so cannot fault that really but that was the only very slight thing. Other than that perfect all round.
