Clean, comfortable, modern room at a reasonable price.

A bit of construction noise coming from street level, but it was only minor.

The location was great. Reception staff were very helpful Bed was comfortable 2 TVs Safety door lock

1 lift was out of action majority of out stay View could have been better Missing general items in kitchen - breadboard, bread cutting knife, bin bags. Getting condition out of that stupid hard little bottle

The property was handy to everything. We walked, mainly - to the Gardens, the river, Queen St Mall, to other hotels, to (very good) coffee shops and restaurants, and Southbank

While our bedroom had a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space , there was no shelving or drawer space..... some storage in the kitchen area , and minimal in the bathroom, but not convenient for our clothing. We were interested in doing a ferry trip up the river, but could not find a pamphlet showing Ferry Ports. As it happened, we were in Brisbane during a 'Construction Phase' for the new railway, but the ferry access points were not accessible either at our end of the city. We walked and walked until we came to the Uni ferry point and , once on board, had a great trip.

Absolutely loved how we were greeted and treated throughout our stay, nothing was a bother Our stay was exactly what we needed for our getaway and at such short notice they were so accommodating, especially after our other booking at another hotel failed As added bonus my hubby loved the construction next door, when we weren't out exploring he was sitting at the window watching, which left me to relax Absolutely loved 38th floor could see for miles and it was great watching the the river vessels and the planes overhead We will be back at sometime in the future and probably other oaks elsewhere

The outdoor chairs, could have been a little more comfortable as we couldn't sit in them or even get out of them as we're a little older and less nimble, but that was our problem not yours

Central location & close to everything we planned to do for our stay.

The 2-bedroom room I booked was meant to have two extra-large double beds, but that wasn’t the case. The larger room with the ensuite had two single beds, & the other (much smaller) bedroom had a large double bed leaving not much room for anything else. It seemed strange that we had to put our two kids in the larger bedroom with the ensuite, while my husband and I stayed in the smaller room for the double bed. It was only for one night, so it wasn’t a big issue - but it wasn’t what we expected when booking.

Our high-floor ‘river view room’ had an excellent outlook to the west from an enclosed balcony with concertina windows that were easily opened and closed for fresh air and city sound atmosphere. The pool area is spacious and everyone was enjoying themselves. The building’s location in the heart of the city is very convenient for shopping.

One lift was out of order during our stay, so the wait for the lift (not always) was a bit of an annoyance. Room’s kitchen lacked some items - needed more cutlery, sharp knife, serving platters etc. We found a broom but couldn’t find a dustpan/brush or vacuum cleaner.

Stayed before and staff as friendly and helpful as always. At least for the kids this time the foxtel worked.

This time the overall 2 bed room was a little on the small side for a family of 5 requiring a roll away bed I know the rooms aren't absolutely huge anyway but this particular one you couldn't fit the roll away bed in the kids bedroom like before so its not a moan or to detract from the hotel just a mention. Also just a mention the shower in the en-suite low pressure and a millimeter of movement on the tap had the water either cold or to hot but the shower in the other bathroom was great.

It was a nice clean apartment with plenty of room. The location was great as it was just a few blocks from a mall and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. We had a one bedroom apartment so we also brought leftovers back and had them the next day - and kept a few bottles of cider chilling in the fridge. The tour bus picked us up at a hotel just a short walk away to go to the Australian Zoo.

When 2 people are booked for three nights it helps if you give them more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for their stay! You have to remember to ask at the desk when you start running low. Also we

The location is excellent. Very easy walking distance to a wide variety of food options, Southbank, Queen Street Mall, West End, and the Casino. For our party of 5 adult family members, the good-sized rooms, balcony area, and comfortable beds were excellent. The kitchen was a good size and well equipped. Front desk staff were very helpful. The pool facilities were good. The parking was very convenient.

The carpet in the living room in the room we had is getting old and probably needs replacing.

The facilities in the hotel were excellent. Our 3 children enjoyed the pools as did we. They were beautifully warm and clean. The lap pool was cooler but perfect for swimming. Had I not done my back in before going I would have loved to have used the gym. The hotel is next to a Nando's, Starbucks and short distance to a coles and the main shopping mall. The day we left they kindly let us have the room for 2 extra hours in the morning and we could have used the pools had we wanted to. We were able to leave our luggage in the reception till our later flight. The reception staff were very helpful.

We had specifically asked for the second bedroom to be set up as a twin which the hotel had agreed but on arrival discovered it hadn't been actioned; they sent someone up to sort it. We had a few issues such as no clothes drying horse which they brought up for us. (An electric drier in the bathroom) The cooking equipment was a bit lacking. There was no colander or sieve to safely drain pasta and then the handle on the saucepan broke. Not an easy cooking experience and ended up with very soggy pasta! First world problems but for the money we paid we would have expected a better stocked kitchen cupboards. It would be good to have a couple more bin liners left in the kitchen too.
