Bed was extremely comfortable. Good central location. Lots of food/grocery options nearby. Fabulous friendly staff. would return for 1-2 night stays but too small for me for any longer

Smelt like sewage in the bathroom when we arrived - but I get this a lot in different places, seems to be the walk in shower/open drains, just run the shower on cold for a bit, flush the toilet - and it disappears

Location was fantastic, right next door to the Queen Street Market, and a short walk to the museums in South Bank. It was also a quick walk to the City Botanic Gardens, which was a must see. The breakfast buffet was a good spread and kept me full for a day of sight seeing. The gym was also simple but well equipped to get a good workout in while on holiday. My first morning, there was an issue with my shower drain were the water was not draining. When I informed the front desk, they took care of it right away to send up someone from maintenance, and the issue was resolved.

Very minor issue. The soap that is used in the rooms left my skin extremely dry. Would be nice to use a less harsh soap brand. No body lotion is offered in the bathrooms, that would be a nice addition to help ease the dryness of the soap.

- Ideal Location, Close to Queen St Mall, restaurants, stores, Southbank, and public transit. - Quick check in process and friendly and helpful reception staff - Clean, comfortable room with an incredible view of the Brisbane River - Nicely decorated and spacious breakfast restaurant

The front desk manager could have been a bit more responsive to an issue I had with the telephone. She said that she would send maintenance to look at it, but no maintenance person ever came. It turned out to be an issue with the hotel's telecommunications system of which the manager was not aware. It's the ability to deal with issues out of the ordinary that separates a good rating from an excellent one.

One lovely staff lady in breakfast buffet lounge ensured I got my morning cappuccino (paid for ground beans) when they were running out! Bed - lovely!

My tv kept freezing & switching off, on third night it did it so much and for longer periods of time, say 15 minutes of not working. I rang down to reception - but no portable tv & obviously no out of hour maintenance. This was on the one night I was in early & had all night to enjoy tv or a movie & couldn't! Staff I told on desk when checking out didn't seem very interested & didn't write it down, so unsure if that information was really going to be recorded! (For question below re did you visit Streets Beach - no it is closed for maintenance!)

Very convenient location, easy to walk to CBD shopping centres such as Queen Street Mall and Up Town, heaps of cafe's and restaurants close by! and very easy walk to South Bank! Room was comfortable and clean, aircon worked really well, TV with access to local channels, full length mirror in the room along with hair dryer, iron and ironing board plus a safe! Would definitely recommend!

One main thing was the light from the hallway seeped through the cracks in the door and made the room a bit bright when trying to sleep, also the doors were very loud when they closed so I could hear other people going in and out of their rooms through the night. Due to it being a very central location, I could hear the traffic sometimes but mostly when it was a loud car. Otherwise, I'd definitely stay here again!!

I booked a corner king deluxe room. The actual location of the hotel so convenient to everything we did. The fact that there was no building in front or beside us so we had clear awesome views of the river and city to our right and left. Room very quiet - no noise from other occupants on our floor. That we were close to Queen Street Mall and all the shopping areas and town hall where we attended a concert. Close to the new Casino with the Skydeck and bridge. We are older people so walking everywhere was easy for us. Excellent asian restaurant across the street and Coles a few steps away for supplies that we were able to place in the provided bar fridge in our room. Top it off free movies to watch on the TV. We had initially booked one night but prior to arrival had booked a second night. Glad we did. Nothing was too much trouble re answering my questions prior to booking and during our visit. All staff very pleasant.

Nothing to dislike - all good. If you want to swim there is a free swimming pool across the river at Southbank. No pool at Ibis Styles. This did not concern us.

Great location, nice design, lovely staff, room was clean, free washing machines and dryers, comfortable bed.

Although the room was clean the carpets were old and in need of a deep clean and there was a musty smell in the room. I left my AirPods in the room and was unable to get in contact with anyone about finding them (phone or email). I wasn’t too worried because they were old and in need of replacement anyway, but communication post stay was difficult. We parked at the uptown parking (old Myer centre) as suggested, and someone side swiped our mirror and left no details but uptown said they were not able to help in way to identify the other vehicle. Not ibis’ fault at all, but perhaps be wary of using that parking.

Recently stayed to attend a concert. We loved how close the hotel was to plenty of attractions, and how easy it was to get to local transport. There was plenty of food options close by. The hotel was clean, had great views and comfy beds. The staff were great. During our stay, there were issues with the laundry (completely out of their control). However, the maintenance manager went above and beyond to make sure the issue was fixed, our clothes were washed and dried whilst he ensured we headed out for the day with no stress! Could not fault the stay

Room was lovely and clean with a view. Breakfast was enjoyable, no fuss to access and nice and handy.

More information on parking would have been nice. It says there is parking available but it's actually next door in the shopping centre and tricky to navigate through the shopping centre (bags in toe) to the motel. Quite confusing. Some instructions when booking would be great. Was sharing with a friend, so book a twin share, but the beds were right beside one another. May as well have booked a double. Wasn't too much of an issue as we are good friends, but a little gap would have been nice. lol

Great location. Only a short walk from any of the 3 major train stations in Brisbane made getting to / from the airport (and the Gold Coast) a breeze. We were on a high floor with floor to ceiling windows on two sides of the room, so had excellent views across the city and of the river. The bed was comfortable, and the size of the room was more generous than pretty much every other IBIS we've stayed in. Little practical touches - like a fridge and a bottle opener / corkscrew - were a welcome bonus. Would definitely stay again!

The seal under the shower door wasn't the best which meant the bathroom floor would be wet. Not the end of the world, but unexpected damp socks were unpleasant! And there's not a lot of shelving space to have stuff out of washbags by the sink. But that's just nit-picking. Would stay again, 100%
