Bar and Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful.

One staff member at the front desk forgot to inform us when our room was ready for occupation via txt as promised. So we waited a long time, until finally we spoke to another member at the desk who acknowledged that our room had been ready for some time, and apologised that we were not informed. Also during our visit to the Wet Deck for lunch there was a very bad smell in the bar area (sewerage) not good when trying to relax with food. When we mentioned it to the staff, they maintained that it could be because of the ongoing road works below.

Since the arrival their service was excellent, everyone was friendly, professional and easy to approach as well as very caring and considerate. They made me feel so special because it was my birthday trip. The room was spacious with a beautiful river view and spotless. Breakfast was great healthy choices and they made porridge especially for me every morning! The last stay was my birthday today and they got me a plate with beautiful cakes with lovely message decorations and sang a birthday song for me which was a nice surprise. It was my second visit at W hotel Brisbane and I’ve had the best time. No other hotel had this level of high quality of service and I strongly recommend W hotel Brisbane. They treat everyone with kind, friendly, respectful and professional manners. The hotel itself is spectacular too. So convenient to get around as well.

We recently stayed at W Brisbane while attending a full-day corporate training event — and it was exceptional on all fronts. Room: Our room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated thoughtful touches like the smart lighting, high-end bathroom amenities, and great views over the Brisbane River. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and functionality — ideal for both relaxing and working. Breakfast: Breakfast was a highlight. The buffet offered a wide selection of hot and cold options, including fresh fruit, pastries, made-to-order eggs, and barista coffee. The setting was bright and welcoming, and service was prompt without being rushed. Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, just steps from Queen Street Mall, the riverfront, and multiple dining options. It's easy to get to whether you're arriving by car or public transport, and it was a great base for our business guests too. Event Facilities: The events team were professional and helpful, and the room was beautifully set up with everything we needed — AV, catering, and flexible seating. Our attendees were impressed. Overall: We highly recommend W Brisbane for both business and leisure. Stylish, convenient, and supported by an outstanding team. We’ll definitely be back.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to fault. If we had to mention anything, it would be that parking is on the pricier side, especially for guests staying multiple nights. However, the valet service was efficient and friendly, and alternative public parking is nearby if needed.

Lovely hotel. Pool & Spa were wonderful, and not busy at all (& we were worried about that!). We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the hotels bars/restraunt too. The room was very comfortable. There is a mini bar, but everything was expensive so bring your own! Breakfast was amazing! Everything was delicious.

The room was probably too expensive for what was included. As much as we loved our stay, it was disapointing. I would have expected some items in the room to be included in the price for how much it was (eg. mini bar drinks or snacks, robes, toiletries, etc.), but it was all expensive add-ons.

The staff at the W were mostly very helpful and friendly except for a couple of inroom dining deliverers who were very abrupt and surly. The food at the breakfast buffet is delicious and the servers and waitresses were happy to be there and very friendly. The inroom dining food was delicious and well prepared and presented too. The Away Spa features sauna, steam room and jacuzzi in beautiful decor. I felt relaxed there. A full gym including free weights impressed me. The pool is long enough for some decent lap swimming and was nice and clean. Water temperature was cool but it is summer so refreshing. Great that the pool is out of the sun.

I stayed 4 nights but had only one visit from housekeeping where they refreshed the towels and made the bed. No vaccuuming was done. The corridors needed vacuuming. At the time I thought they could even install robot vacuums in each level to do a quiet clean or if they are understaffed. I asked for the minibar to be removed but they would charge $25 to do that. There is so much alcohol placed in the room. A whole section of room space for it. Might suit some but not to my taste. So I stored that out of the way in a corner behind the big intrusive bar unit during my stay.

Location was great, beds and room were really luxurious. Stunning view over the river. Great attention to detail, friendly staff and overall, a really amazing stay. We loved the spa, sauna and steam room. Pool was clean, lovely day bed area and all the food we ate here was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

I was disappointed that the mineral pools weren't open at the same time at the sauna and steam room. We are early birds and went to the sauna/steam around 6/7am each day and really wanted to utilise the mineral pools at the same time. They unfortunately didn't open until 9am. Also, the sauna/steam rooms are separated by gender, so it was a little disappointing we weren't able to do these things together as a couple - nonetheless, the amenities were lovely!

Amazing customer service, every staff would ask if we needed anything or how they could help. Staff went over and above for the extras I orders for the room for my husbands birthday putting balloons in the term even though I didn’t order them!! Amazing.

Touch screens in room were a little fiddly. Sometimes did not work and I accidentally turned the whole rooms lights on in the middle of the night reaching for my phone haha. Also the spas were lovely however the first spar had a significant amount of calcium buildup and was so sharp it cut my finger, nothing major but could be quite bad if someone slipped and slid on the steps.

I booked for 2 adults and 1 child including breakfast. The hotel said breakfast wasn't included for our daughter. After some emailing back and forth, and only after checking out and contacting booking.com did the hotel admit the mistake. I requested a refund for the extra breakfast not received and the hotel agreed without hesitation. I'm only posting this review to assist other users if they encounter the same problem.

No exhaust or toilet brushes in the toilets; no bidets either in the toilets Lighting difficult to control with the touch switches - often required fiddling around in the dark and causing sudden bright light up annoying the partner Could do better for environment by ditching small disposable bottles of drinking water & replacing it with water jugs that can be refilled on demand Dimly light corridors with insects painted all around was a bit wierd sense of interior decoration for a hotel

Loved the outlook from our room, the views gorgeous at night looking out at the city lights, the pool area is great! Staff were helpful. Even though our first room wasn’t, the second room we were changed too was clean, neat, comfortable and fresh!

It was unfortunate that the Wet Deck was closed for a function, would have like to have been able to enjoy this venue and see the casino Christmas Light display from there in the evening. I don’t like how dark the Living Room Bar area is, we enjoyed the Festive High Tea down there and it was a bit dark and gloomy. I would have like to have seen more options for the in room dining menu. I paid additionally for balloons to be set up in the bedroom, I didn’t like that in the first instance the balloons were mostly deflated upon entry, which spoiled the surprise for my daughter and was quite the let down. The staff did re-do the balloon set up, and it was certainly a little better the second time, but it was very disappointing to just not have it right the first time.
