I'm sure we were given the BEST room in the building! We were on the top floor, and our balcony faced the Redcliffe Jetty and looked out over Moreton Island. We also couldn't see our neighbours on either side of the balcony so the privacy was appreciated. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The large outdoor space was definitely a highlight. We loved sitting out and watching the cargo ships arrive at the Brisbane Port and the planes fly in to the airport. It was handy to have Cafe 63 downstairs and it was only a two minute walk down to the shops and cafes. There was a park across the street, great for families. We only arrived outside of reception hours so we had to get our key from the lockbox and it was an easy and straightforward process. The instructions for parking underground were very easy to understand. Overall, a fantastic stay. We'll definitely be back!!

There was nothing we didn't enjoy. One thing we questioned was some tape that was across the smoke alarm in the kitchen. Also the beds were quite hard.

The apartment was very clean & spacious. Beds were nice and comfy. The person at reception was nice & welcoming and helpful. The hotel was great & the location was amazing. Right in town and the view from our bedrooms & living area was amazing looking straight out on the ocean & park.. The Proximity Hotel is where we would be our first choice to stay if we are in that area...10/10 Big ups to yous at Proximity.. will definitely recommend to family and friends

Location was spot on and views were perfect

Pool was good but there was a off putting brown scum coating the water level tile that should not have been there Having to shower over a bath was restricting in size and re a glass shelf at hip height is seen as a health & safety risk and off putting. The owners should open up a ensuited room with a proper shower. There was a few items that I noted to reception ie door handle hanging off , lights not working or flickering - shower diverter knob missing etc..

Friendly reception. Apt 706 is a good sized one bedroom apartment with a comfy bed with ensuite, nice little balcony on the south side overlooking Redcliffe and sea view. Short walks to pier cafes/ restaurants, Sunday markets and right next door to the RSL. Easy access to bike /walking paths. Secure parking. Lifts worked all the time. Loved the fact the whole complex including balconies is smoke/vape free. Brilliant.....well done Proximity 😀

Like most apt bedrooms they could do with blockout curtains. Wasn't spotless.....would expect better for what we paid The RSL airconditioning vents next door are quite noisy.

We stayed at Proximity while having work done in our nearby apartment. We were very happy with the layout of the apartment and the quality of the furnishings, also the ease of access to the car park. The bonus was this is the first hotel we have stayed in where Foxtel was installed with a wide range of movies and programs and local tv channels and not just sport. The other plus was the washing machine and dryer, and also plenty of nearby cafes.

Beautiful apartment with a large balcony, great for breakfast with a view. Everything modern and clean. There were even some board games in the living room cupboard. The location is also great: right next to the main part of the town centre and a few minutes’ walk from Settlement Cove Lagoon, which is really fun for kids. We will keep coming back here.

Not much to dislike. They could maybe just add a few things to the kitchen. There didn’t seem to be any chopping board and also no paper towel.

Location, comfortable bed, the pool. Being within walking distance to Redcliffe was great, especially the market.

A few maintenance issues but these may not have been reported & missed by the cleaners ie range hood collapsing on one side & the soap holder in the shower detached and put under the sink. Also had to call someone to help close the sliding doors to balcony. But overall a great place to stay.

Had a washer dryer which was ideal. Location was good, near shopping centre and close to the beach. Wifi.

We were expected to wash and pack our dishes away. For the price we paid, customers should be allowed to leave the dishes. There were food and drink stains on the floor, but this didnt really bother us at all. The water that drains out of the washing machine onto the floor and into the drain could pose as a potential hazard and is something to be aware of. We otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Everything about out stay was great, easy check in, fantastic location, comfortable beds, everything we needed in the room for our 3 nights stay. The ocean front view was perfect 👌 watching the moon rise up over the water was amazing. We will definitely be staying again. We always love the Sunday Jetty markets that are just downstairs. Meals at the RSL next door were great too!

Nothing to not like. The owners were great to deal with. We needed a extra car space and they made this available to us.

Great location to main main street- shops restaurants/bars, beaches and public transport. Everything was within walking distance. Friendly and welcoming staff with great knowledge of the local area. Apartment building was clean and well presented. Our room was also very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Would highly recommend Proximity Waterfront Apartments and we would definitely stay again.

Only negative feedback was from neighboring building- air pollution from RSL exhaust fans. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the jetty, ocean and main street but felt we couldn't enjoy sitting out there as we were at a similar height to the RSL exhaust fans and the smell was unpleasant.
