- there was another guest/s that kind of made a scene about cold dinner which was a little unpleasant but not at fault of the staff. They essentially took too long to go and pick it up from the kitchen so the food was waiting for like twenty mins and they were so rude to the staff about it. Not at all at fault of the staff. Honestly, people are so rude for no reason and it made me sad that they were rude to the staff. That's about it

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Xmas Lunch was the best we have ever been to. The views were lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Access for disabled could be better. Yes, it is wheelchair friendly, but for the elderly or infirm not in a wheelchair, the steepness of paths to get up to the restaurant was difficult. Maybe a parking spot up near the restaurant could be considered? This way the disabled person could be driven close to the restaurant, dine, then be driven back down to near their room without having to walk up a hill or stairs.

View was amazing. However, depending on your room (we had lower ground facing the lake view), you may not be able to see much. Nonetheless, if you are from the city, you will enjoy the serene of the place. We had dinner at the restaurants, felt it was a bit expensive, but food was amazing, so that was great. The view from the restaurant was awesome. You wont see the city view from the restaurant but you will see the Samsonvile lake.

Bed could have been better. Breakfast buffet could have been better too. I felt like the amenities was missing such as drinking water for the rooms. I had to buy a bottle of water from the restaurant for $6! Otherwise, make sure you get some water from IGA or Coles prior to getting to this place (12 min away).

The location is wonderful, not far from Brisbane, the trees, garden, birds and butterflies, the view from the restaurant. A quiet area, had a good nights sleep. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant - every dish costs like $10 more than somewhere else but it was worth it just for the convenience of not having to drive to and from somewhere else. Our room was clean and comfortable, plenty of towels and toiletries and free movies/cable channels on a small tv, but the buildings looked a little dated. The aircon worked, and we didn't have to walk far to the car park, reception, pool, tennis court or the restaurant. Staff were friendly and good at their jobs, and the price per room was reasonable for the location and dates (first week of the new year). Will I stay here again? Yes.

We would have liked to have had; a jug or bottle of drinking water in the room (not too much to ask) a slightly shorter wait for our main meal (though this could have been a one off issue in the kitchen that night) less climbing stairs with bags a slightly bigger television in the room a few more than two coffee cups and two glasses in a quad room and perhaps a beverage service at the tennis court and pool

I liked the staff and the service. Also the amount of towels they provided and the easy check in system. Rooms were nice. Not much lights though , but that’s okay.

Didn’t like the location. Almost impossible to get an uber or a taxi at times and the hotel weren’t able to assist with it.

Lovely room with a comfortable bed and pillows.

Our only minor issue was that we were told on booking in, just to go for our included breakfast the next morning between 7 and 10. We hadn't connected that it was Mother's Day so it was fully booked, and raining outside so we couldn't use the outside area. The staff were very accommodating and managed to fit us in for breakfast between bookings. It was lucky that we had arrived very early. In hindsight, we should have made a booking the night when we arrived.

Setting and location is relaxing and very picturesque. Hotel restaurant on site, plus pool and tennis courts provides a range of things to do without leaving. Having a car made it easier to do things away from the resort.

Need to pre-plan and book spa experiences prior to arrival to ensure any availability, especially if only staying a couple of nights. New tennis racquets, or at the very least new tennis grips, would also be appreciated for those who want to make use of the tennis court.

The view was amazing. Very peaceful location. Easy distance to Brisbane international or domestic airport took us 40 mins to get there from the hotel to airport Staff were very helpful when we had an issue with bathroom window, it was resolved even though quite late in the evening.

No lift with heavy suitcases slightly hard work but only 1 level up so not too bad wished we’d seen sunset arrived too late to enjoy it or use facilities

Beautiful area and rooms are nice and clean. We enjoyed the view and the room for what we needed. The beds were comfortable.

Getting to the room was a bit hard specially with no lift option otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Only other thing was the toilet felt squeezed in between the shower and wall, the bathroom in our spot needed a few little fixes but overall fine.

There was plenty of parking (free) and was close enough to our room for an easy walk back to the car. The rooms were a good size and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly, calling us ahead of time to check when we would be checking in and the check out process was easy. We visited the restaurant on Friday night and enjoyed a nice dinner. Plenty to watch on tv with foxtel.

The lights on the aircon and the tv are very bright at night.
