What a surprise, the motel from the outside looked old and uninviting but looks can be deceiving. The room excelled with all comforts and was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close to the centre of town .

The second night we returned and the room was inhabited by mozzies. Being late I didn't wish to disturb the staff so drove about 1 kilometre to the IGA and purchased a tin of fly spray. Problem solved.

Our room was a good size and exceptionally clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff member on arrival was very friendly and accommodating.

The only issue we had was that the air conditioning unit, when switched on, had a very bright light on the front of the unit. This meant that the room wasn’t dark during the night and it was harder to sleep.

Friendly Young couple giving it a go at running a motel and the challenges that come along with it. Any issues that was raised were addressed. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed. Can see they have pride in their business and want to make a comfortable experience for their guests.

A table for dining in would have been a nice touch. No cookies with the tea and coffee. I travel regularly to Bundaberg, all other motels have the cookies

In relation to the centre of town, I had no idea where the motel was located, however being on a main road into town, it was very convenient for a couple of the meetings I attended

The mattress was a little soft, as were the pillows. However I slept well.

I liked the close proximity to the CBD and the friendliness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room and the great free wifi reception. Just across from the Botanical Gardens.

No biscuits in room on arrival but lots of tea and coffee which was great. There was milk and two bottles of complementary water.

We were in Bundaberg, for the Lighthouse Country concerts. From check-in, to check-out, we enjoyed our stay @ Sun City. Nothing was a problem for Jessica, the owner. We needed a sharp knife to cut some tomatoes & she gave us one to use. The room was spotless, the bed was nice & comfortable & there is a pool & bbq area for guests to use. We've stayed in many motels over the years, & SCM would rate as one of the best. We've re-booked for next year, if LHC is on again. Thoroughly recommend SCM. The rates are excellent, as well. The manager Jess was super accommodating and considerate. I asked for / about multiple things on a few occasions before checking in and she sorted everything out for us. (Put iron and ironing board in the room, confirmed there was fridge and microwave, even got us soy milk without us asking. She just saw our notes and took initiative. Definitely went over and above). The room was clean, bright and freshly painted with crisp sheets and comfy beds.

The rooms were immaculately clean with a nice shower and bathroom. The bed was spot on as well. Couldn’t be happier. The staff were friendly and nice to talk to. This will now be our go to motel when we are in Bundaberg. 10/10

Spacious, great layout, recently painted / renovated room. Bathroom / Shower were clean with modern vanity with plenty of bench space for toiletries. Comfy King sized bed. Guest Laundry available at reasonable price. Friendly staff. Close to CBD, Botanic Gardens & walking distance to a really good cafe for coffee & food (Oodies Cafe). Close to IGA for groceries. Good value for money compared to other Motels in CBD.

Our room was close to the road which did get a little noisy at times. Staff apologised that they had no quieter rooms available but would have relocated us if it were possible.

Room was very clean, like how the shower and toilet are separate spaces. Staff friendly, location quiet.

We stayed two nights so the small fridge didnt worry us although it didnt freeze our travelling ice packs.
