Terry and Julie have done an amazing job with this gorgeous and romantic getaway destination. We were given helpful tips about where to go for meals and entertainment during our stay. We stayed in the Calm Cottage. This was a beautiful cottage with fireplace, huge comfortable bed, a very well appointed kitchen, a huge gorgeous bathtub on the back deck, as well as a huge double shower and twin basins in the bathroom. There were fairy lights over the back deck that overlooked a huge canopy of trees. Sitting in the bathtub was a perfect way to view the stars and even though the temperature outside was cold, it didn’t affect the bathtub experience. Things like a four burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee station and a full-size fridge made for a comfortable stay. Where we could choose to cook or not. We will absolutely put this at the top of our where to stay for the future. It was pretty close to perfect for a romantic getaway for our Anniversary.

The only negative was that it had to come end.

We absolutely adored our few days at the cottage. The views were breathtaking, and starting each morning by soaking in the bath with such a stunning backdrop was truly spectacular—an incredibly peaceful and charming way to begin the day. The cottage itself was spotless, with views that left us in awe, and I absolutely fell in love with the bath—it had everything we could possibly need. With its beautiful surroundings, friendly people, and a wonderfully comfortable bed, it was the perfect escape.

Everything from the facilities to the view were extremely impressive, Terry also walked us around the property and shows us all the little tips and tricks we needed to know with the weather and things like that. Super informative about the whereabouts of activities to do over the weekend and places to go for breakfast lunch and dinner.

If you’ve found something you don’t like about the property you’ve clearly got rocks for brains.. The place is awesome!

The property was absolutely beautiful and modern, spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, duvet very warm with extras provided. The deck bath tub was huge and perfect for two people to share, surrounded by mood lighting, perfect for a romantic get away. The view was breathtaking, providing different landscapes at different times of the day. We loved this property!

The view was absolutely stunning and the bed was super comfortable .All the devour / painting and images were a very fun touch and made us both smile it was all very cute and lovely

The only thing that made it a bit upsetting was the spa it was a huge draw to why we booked the place but every time the jets were turned on a large amount of gunky stuff came out.we were told to turn them on and leave for ten mins then drain and clean we did this 3 times and in the end just used the spa without the jets cause the cleaning was to much as I'm pregnant and my partner has a bad back .And also you don't really book a place to have to clean it 😕

Great location. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. AMAZING views. And the outdoor bath was a delightful surprise! Perfect getaway location to relax, recharge and reset the body, mind and spirit. LOVED sitting outside - watching and listening to the birds, taking in the mountains and sky, and feeling my whole body exhale.

Only thing I wasn't a fan of were the mozzies! But then I discovered that the hosts have thoughtfully catered for that too - with mozzie coils and spray (in the cupboard under the sink) - so it didn't actually end up being an issue.

The location is great overall. You get beautiful views and its seclusion is amazing as you get little to no noise aside from the sound of nature. The cabin is brilliant with lots of great features including the bath spa and outdoor baths. That combined with the cold weather allowing us to have a nice fire going was great. The owners are very accomodating and knowledgable and give great ideas on things to do in the area.

Only the weather as it did rain more than not. No ones fault of course. Otherwise nothing that are the responsibility of the owners.

The cleanliness was immaculate: 11 out of 10. Very well kept accommodation. The views were fantastic, with a very private setting. Enjoyed seeing the pretty-faced wallaby on the lawn too.

We loved everything about this place!

My wife and I loved every moment especially zero phone connection or internet. Being able to disconnect from the world and listen to nature was awesome.

Although I have a career in 5 star hotels I couldn't fault this property.
