Couldn't have asked for a better location . Directly across the street from the beach which lulled you to sleep at night with the waves coming in.. Massive space to spread out , fully loaded with any and all amenities you needed albeit we had little time there to use much . Incredible cleanliness , fabulous shower and loads of storage space if you stayed awhile . Laundry washers as well . Loved the town on the whole , real close to great eating and drinking establishments, walking paths and loved the charm of the people . Easy access to the apartment with great instructions (thx Matt)and prompt help when needed . Highly recommend this place . A real gem !

This is just constructive criticism but I found the beds were not super comfy . A small selection of firm and soft pillows would also be a bonus . I know it's not a cruise ship but if I stayed awhile , my back would be suffering . Other than that , This place is magical and would return anytime . Wonderful stay !

Very central but tucked away at the rear of the commercial businesses that make up the shopping strip fronting the ocean beaches. So a short stroll to bakery, supermarket and other shops. Even though the railway line runs at the rear, there is only one or two trains daily that travel slowly along as it is freight only. Undercover parking is provided. Even though it was wet and windy on some days the unit was cosy and warm. Our unit was very spacious with 2 queen and a single bed upstairs and on the lower level, a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity and even a washing machine. An airing rack was touched away under the stairs. The unit was clean, light and airy, and the bedding and towels were of good quality, smelt fresh. There were generous extra towels for those braving a swim in Bass Strait! Beaches are family friendly (but not patrolled) and literally across the road.from the units. Clear instructions from management re access.

There was a dining table to seat 4 and 4 chairs only , even though there were beds and lounges to accommodate up to 7 people. While it was adequate for our visit, more seating would have been necessary for a bigger group. Some reading matter eg maps of the area and local sights, and a few novels would have been appreciated

staff were friendly and helpful. I was very grateful to be allowed in early and permitted to leave at 11am. The position was lovely with a view of the beach and within walking distance of shops. the apartment was enormous and extremely clean. Beds were super comfy. little extras like shampoo, soap, dishwasher tabs and washing powder, as well as games and puzzles to entertain the kids. I would give this place 10/10. And would 100 percent come back on another visit.

Everything, this one bed apartment is bigger than my four bed home wow, photos do not give it the true aspect of the floor space or justice of the facilities provided Me and my partner were in awe at the cleanliness of such a large area. And then you are located opposite this amazing beach front OMG The township houses three amazing restaurants recommend all, coffee shop highly recommend👍

Not enough time spent in this space, we will be back Aspect of the facility not to like, hmm nothing For awareness, Holiday traffic is noisy, mid morning, tv 55 inch is small considering the size of the room Ps read the booklets and notices, windows prevent oversight during the day, however at night blinds are required to be drawn, otherwise road traffic and passer bys get a view you don't want to be giving 😀

Very good communication beforehand. The apartment is clean, fresh and modern. It is spacious and has everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The highlight is the view and the balcony that allows you to make the most of the view. It was one of the very few places that actually have doona covers that are freshly replaced for each guest visit (unlike the popular doona, no cover but a top and bottom sheet to presumably cover the doona).

There was nothing negative

Everything was awesome! Firstly, the location of the apartment is superb - directly across the (small) road from a pristine and beautiful beach, so the view from the living areas (including the large, covered outdoor area) is fantastic. Secondly, the apartment is much bigger than I had expected; there was plenty of room for the four of us (myself, husband, two almost-adult children). Lastly, the apartment had everything we needed for our long weekend including laundry facilities, tea & coffee, board games, extra towels etc. The apartment has been recently refurbished, clean, comfortable, spacious, and perfectly located. I highly recommend this property and would happily stay again.

Wow, what was not to like. Perfect location to travel to surrounding places. Everything is right their for you in the room. Love the set up. Large comfy bed, large lounge area, chairs and small table outside to sit and relax as the water is across the road. Walking paths across the road to enjoy the water, penguins to see in many places. Food trail places everywhere. I would highly recommend it!

Our back door in the kitchen is locked and inaccessible from the room. This is used for the cleaners with a washing machine and a dryer (could be more). We could hear some cleaners talking a little and then of course the washing machine and dryer, when we were up and sitting for breakfast. I understand that this needs to be done for the accommodation. Don't know what could relieve these noises. Maybe soundproofing on the door? on the other side? It was around 8am or a little later, so if you're up and out, you will not notice anything.

Absolutely everything! It was the most comfortable, the cleanest, the best located, the best equipped place I have ever stayed in Australia and perhaps in my travels around the world. It was tastefully decorated and Matthew was superb to deal with. If you are visiting penguin, this is most definitely the best place to stay.

Wonderful location in a beautiful part of the world. Easy, very short walk to dining and shopping. Fantastic view. Apartment had heaps of space, very well appointed, very clean, loved the artwork. Beyond expectations. Be aware that there are quite a few steps to get upstairs, so if mobility is an issue for you, there is a downstairs apartment that would be more suitable.

Absolutely perfect stay, super clean, quiet, spacious, right across from the beach with spectacular view over Bass Strait. Everything provided in plentiful supply - including towels and toiletries. Beds were very comfy, and the apartment is conveniently situated next to cafes, bakery, supermarkets. The washing machine and undercover parking were much appreciated. Could have easily stayed longer than our four nights it was so relaxing! 10/10!!
