Breakfast provided was adequate although a bit more toast would have been appreciated. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good. Room was large and comfortable

The rear fire escape is dangerous (nearest to room ) I went down to the car at night and fell off the edge at the bottom of the stairs There was no signage and lighting was inadequate. A barrier needs to be erected ASAP. If there was a fire, this would be a real issue. I fell and hurt my knee and foot when I went to walk down what I thought were stairs but was in fact a close to a half metre drop. I was very lucky that I am tough although having said that my knee is still extremely sore (I think I chipped my bone)

Super comfy bed, an assortment of pillow styles (soft, medium, firm) wow, very roomy spaces, great bathroom. Huge mirror, iron provided, two keys instead of having to share the one, parking provided, walking distance from everything in town, great vibe with the artworks in the lobby. Staff were super friendly and professional and helpful. Would definitely stay again. The Commission (pub next door) 10/10 amazing space and food.

Honestly nothing. You have to walk up a couple flights of stairs which we were happy to do but could be an issue for elderly vacationers. TV was small but we didn't go to Burnie to watch TV.

Absolutely loved our stay, easy access and parking. Gorgeous big room and bed! Love the featured mirror. And customer service was great! Such a nice space.

The only thing I could say, was the bath was ever so slightly unclean. And no air conditioning, as it was quite a hot day the room was very warm! Although there was a fan, which we had on all night as it was very hot!

Really nice room well located. Large well appointed and relaxing. Mini bar was good and affordable. Room a little hot on a sunny day but windows did open. Spa was lovely but just too small for a larger person. Stairs a little hard to use for older person although there was a clear offer of help with the baggage Reception staff member was lovely and friendly and informative. We will definately stay again.

The room is fashionable and equipped in a very modern way despite being located in an old building. The bathroom is huge and the shower is awesome. The location is fantastic with a short walking distance from everything.

In general great place, these are just minor: - I found getting the paper newspaper every morning wasteful. - The parking situation is a bit hectic as the parking is not in the same building as the hotel and there is no easy way to park and (un)pack your car. When I arrived I didn't even know where to park to check-in. On the other hand, having free parking relatively close is awesome.

Massive room - and I mean MASSIVE! Could have swung several cats and they wouldn't have touched the walls let alone each other. Great heritage building that has been done up to be quite modern with all the mod cons. They even included some complimentary breakfast cereals/juice/milk/yoghurt. Perfect location in Burnie and the reception was super helpful with recommendations for local food/drink. Off street parking behind the hotel with the option for a secure parking area just a street over.

Incredibly large rooms. The bed was extremely comfy and the views of the beach were amazing, particularly at sunrise. Check in was a little confusing at first, but don't let that put you off the gem. The location was perfect in the middle of the town and easy walk to intercity bus stops. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus!! Would happily stay again!

Definitely on the more expensive end of the scale. The rooms are truly excellent, but I just would've loved to see some of the electronics (like the microwave and TV) upgraded to better fit what's expected of this higher-end room/ price.

Good location in the centre of Burnie a block from the waterfront. Complimentary cereals & yoghurt provided and a well stocked bar fridge. The Ember & Vines restaurant on the ground floor (not part of the hotel) is excellent.

The hotel is on the first and second floor but no lift. However, the receptionist carried our bag up from the street.

Large room with kitchen.

The large deep leather couch needed some back cushions for those of us with short legs. The bed was very low to the ground for the elderly. There is a very noisy bar with a young clientele across the road which is open until midnight which made sleeping impossible until the early hours due to the loud music and voices.

The ikon is beautiful building, there is the grand staircases up to the floors, and my room was as big as my apartment. Luxurious, comfortable and being able to have a spa bath was amazing. In the restaurant downstairs I had the best steak I’ve had in years. I would recommend a journey to Burnie, a walk a long the beach and stay at the Ikon.
