Everything. They have a perfect location,close to the shopping centre. Penguins viewing is just across the street. Stephen and Shayre are a wonderful couple. They split my children with sweets😆. It was such a wonderful 6 day stay. We mostly use the place for sleeping and occasionally swimming as we are everywhere everyday exploring the beautiful island/state of Tasmania. Thank you for welcoming us in your beautiful place. Until we meet again💙🙏🦋🌹. They also have book with all the needed sites/locations/restaurants with their corresponding phone number and location. We enjoyed sitting out on our balcony whilst reading and watching the sea. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook basic meals. We also appreciated the fact the place allowed dogs to stay, and the proprietor was friendly and engaged positively with our 2 dogs. There was room to set up crates for the dogs to sleep in.

We were given a carpeted room for ourselves and our dogs, which shed hair. (Unclear booking info from the site) There were no brooms, dust pans in the room to clean up the floors. We paid the additional cleaning fee but were surprised by the amount and the attitude of the owner when requesting the payment. Apart from this hiccup, our communication with the proprietor was always friendly.

The place was run by a lovely and humble couple. They're very friendly and accommodating. Had a good chat with them. The place was generally clean and the rooms were serviced daily. I got the sea view room, the view from the room was the biggest highlight for my trip in northern Tasmania! Can't believe I got to look at this beautiful ocean every morning and evening for the money I paid. The property was dog-friendly, which is also very hard to come by. For dog owners there is plenty of space to walk your dogs - turn left from the motel there's an enclosed area for dogs to go off-leash and turn right a footy oval, both just a few houses away.

The carpet was a little sticky which was not a deal breaker considering I didn't go barefoot on the carpet.

Everything was great! Relaxing and comfortable we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and were able to bring our dog on holiday (slight additional cost which is totally fair) Penguins just over the road, farm animals next door, great place to base yourself and explore. We loved everything and our children loved everything. Parents stayed in a camper and said all facilities were great in that area too. Owners were also lovely. We will be back!

Unit was very clean. Shower was super powerful. Location was very convenient to Burnie CBD (about 2-minute drive) and within easy reach of tourist spots on state's northwest coast. Very good value for money in general. Beautiful beach over the road (we even saw a seal).

Free wi-fi was not able to stream paid services (Kayo, for example) but I was able to do that via my own paid mobile service because there must be good cellular service in the area. Coffee was supplied for first day but no resupply after that.

Great location, opposite beach and 8 minutes drive to Burnie. Even though our accommodation was only metres from the highway we weren't affected by noise. Awakening every day to the view of the ocean and hills was great. Very clean.

Accommodation a little dated but owners only been there 3 months and are making improvements. Cooking facilities weren't quite what I would have liked. Had a cook top but could have done with an oven, grill and an exhaust fan whilst cooking.

The staffs were very friendly when we received key. They introduced us some other places for travelling. The room was neat and tidy. All stuffs include dishes, bowls, glasses, cups, forks, spoons, pan, saucepan ,... enough for your travelling cooking with family at night.

We lived in Cabin 16. The thing we didn't like was the kitchen water tap. Hot and cold water taps are separated and very low that cause difficult to wash dishes. The washing hang/face tub in bathroom was very old. should be replaced as it created a feeling not clean/good.

Location was great easy access and close to what we wanted to see and do. Management were very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area and things to see. Especially seeing the Penguins coming in on dusk very close by. Also a couple of Wallabies just outside our cabin at night.

Nothing. Our stay was pleasant, comfortable and meet our expectations.

Excellent owners/staff

This is not something I was unhapoy about - Had an issue with my door on my cabin not locking, I rang reception and owner came straight up and looked at it. He was able to lock it that night and offered a swap to a cabin the next day. Owner dealt with this issue swiftly and professionally and I was happy with how he dealt with it.

Self contained cabin set well back from the main road. Very quiet with lots of wildlife. Clean separate cabin, fully equipped for a family of 4 to stay long term. Beach a short walk and a heated private pool an even shorter walk away. You can easily see the small penguins from the walkway at the top of the beach as night falls. Wallabys visit the rear of the park at night and are easily observed. Large school oval next door.

The access is onto the main road and negotiating this can be challenging at peak hour,
