We are a couple in our late 60's and stayed here for two nights. The unit was a little bit dated but very comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant was very good lovely meals at a good price. All the staff we dealt with were lovely and very helpful. If you are visiting the Port Arthur site then the location is perfect. You can get a key, open a gate and walk into the grounds.

Restaurant not open for breakfast but you can buy items from the office the previous night to eat. It didn't worry us to much but the door to the units balcony was bolted on the outside and it couldn't be opened from the inside.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Port Arthur Motor Inn! The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a trip on the Tasman Island cruise and day of exploring the stunning Port Arthur Historic Site, which is just a short drive away. The location is perfect for anyone looking to explore the area, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The facilities, including the on-site restaurant, were top-notch. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area – fantastic value for money, and we will definitely return!

Parking is very tight at times with small car parks. Overflow parking is available only a short walk away.

The location adjacent to the Port Arthur site was fantastic. We just walked in the back gate. Be aware it's better to ask at reception for a key so you don't get locked in or need to walk the long way around the motels restaurant. We went on the night ghost tour, day tours and on the 3 capes hike. We left a hire car there for 4 days. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. We had 3 units in a row on the higher row. There's a slight view of hills. The rooms all had a double and single bed in them. All equipped with the usual. All appeared to be recently painted and renovated and in good condition for old buildings. We were expecting tired rooms and were pleasantly surprised they were not. Staff were helpful. Restaurant meals were bistro type and large servings. Staff were helpful. The clothes dryer broke and they helped us.

The location was amazing, overlooking the Port Arthur historical site. We arrived after reception had closed but it was still easy and straightforward to check-in. We had booked two rooms and were given rooms with a connecting door, which was excellent. The rooms were nice and large, the beds very comfortable, the bathrooms very clean and the shower really good. We had dinner in the restaurant that night. Prices were really good and my sister thought the steak was the best she had in some time, certainly during our time in Tasmania.

If anything, the hotel and facilities looked a little run down, but this did not distract from our stay at all.

Basic accommodation, clean and tidy which met our needs for an overnight stay. Beds were comfortable and shower was lovely. Location was excellent and the restaurant view over the site was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff were freindly.

The continental breakfast although the staff did mention what is was however we were already committed due to time restraints. Very simple consisting of some cereal, toast, yoghurt, prunes and apricots as well as tea and coffee. For $15 probably not that bad in the scheme of things, prepare to lower your expectations.

We traveled as a group of 11 with 4 rooms (2 family and 2 queen). The queen rooms had an amazing view over the Port Arthur Historic site and updated bathrooms. The family rooms were two interconnecting rooms, that were very big. While the family rooms were somewhat dated, the whole hotel was really clean. The beds were also very comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the quality of the food was great. If staying for more than one night, they can give you direct access to and from the hotel into the historic site. Very good value.

The staff seemed untrained and kept having to go to their manager for advice, or made errors that the manager had to later fix up (mainly when dining).

The location was perfect for touring Port Arthur and the surrounding area. whilst the room was a little dated, it was very clean, comfortable, and warm with great views. and lovely to come back to a clean room with fresh towels and bottled water. the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to visit.😊

Loved that it was close to everything. The staff were super friendly and happy to have us staying. The restaurant was exceptional and the food even better. The ambience of the fire in the restaurant was cosy and enjoyable.

The rooms are quite dated and the shower was not clean. Hair was on the floor in our shower which turned us off wanting to use it. The light on the wall above where you slept was just hanging off and ready to fall out.

Can't believe I didn't realise that it literally borders the Port Arthur Historic Site! You can literally buy tickets and walk straight into the site from the motel. Accommodation was nothing particularly spectacular, but I mean it had clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and everything worked - what else do you want from a motor inn? Food was pretty good in the bistro, which overlooks the historic site too.

The wifi was iffy, but I don't know what else you can really expect from a motel all the way in Port Arthur.
