A great location, very handy to the town. Beautiful setting with private garden courtyard. The room had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. Lovely owner who was happy to see us even when we turned up late. I would definitely stay here again.

Not a criticism, but it would be great to have a non-slip mat for the shower. No where we stayed has them, but my 86 year old Mum is worried about slipping over on a bare shower floor. Would be a nice touch for the older clientele.

Comfortable, well equipped, outdoor space for pets, hosts very responsive. We had a booking with another pet friendly property arranged well in advance for a hospital admission but were left high and dry by our prior host. Prior host advised 3 days before due to arrive their property not available and our booking was being cancelled. We were unable to leave our fur babies and pet friendly availability is extremely limited, (practically impossible near Hobart at short notice). Richmond Coachman rest allowed us to have the bigger room for the three of us and 2 pups for 1 night and to rent both rooms the following night. They really cared and helped us out of a major dilemna. Would definately stay with them again.

The weather was awful and prevented us having a look around the very beautiful town of Richmond once we left the hospital. Unfortunately our hosts have no control over that or I'm sure they would have ordered sunshine for us. Bathroom is very petite but functional. The room with second bed doesn't have sufficient space when you have 3 adults and 2 small dogs. Our Host had warned us of this but we had no other choices and we managed reasonably well. The space was fine on the second night when 1 adult was able to move to the other room. It would be fine for 2 adults a child and a small dog. Or two adults and two dogs

Clean and convenient option close to cafes, shops and attractions. Good parking off street. Comfortable bed and a private patio area. Nice of host Dave to call us and confirm when the room was ready. Competitive pricing makes it a safe choice for all budgets.

We were happy with our stay. Although it was clear at booking that there was no internet access and we had our own, it does seem to be out of step with other accommodation in Tassie. I am sure people would not mind paying a little extra to have internet access as part of the package.

It was located on the main street so it was easy to food and it had parking. I contacted the property if we could check in a bit early and they rang to yes and that it was ready from when we wanted to check in. The apartment was also very warm as outside was very cold and it was nice to come into a warm room.

Could have a box of tissues and a sponge to wipe down the sink. Otherwise there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. Unit 2 had a queen bed and a single bed so was a little cramped, ok for a couple and a child but maybe not for 3 adults. Private courtyard with outdoor furniture was a real bonus with lots of birds singing in the trees. Location was excellent, on the main street and walking distance to shops, cafes and pub. Only negative was the pillows which need replacing.

One of the cheapest places to stay in Richmond and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was for the price. David called in advance to let us know our room was ready early and cheerfully greeted us on arrival. It was very clean, warm, quiet and comfortable with a lovely private outside courtyard. Very close and within easy walking distance to everything Richmond has to offer.

The only slight negative was that the single mattress in our room was very firm (the queen bed was fine) but adequate for just one night.

Excellent location close to shops and restaurants. Excellent value for price paid. Great to have parking at the door. Lovely and clean. Nice that we were contacted by phone to tell us our accomodation was ready for our arrival earlier if we wished. We enjoyed our stay very much thankyou.

There was nothing to not like.

The host is friendly and humorous; his lab retriever was jolly and adorable! The shower was large and I like that they provided a laundry rack. The room was comfortable and the bedside table had drawers for storage.

There was a limited space for food preparation. The carpet was dated and the towel rack was wobbly.

David came and had a chat to us and told us a bit of tourist options etc , very clean , comfortable room with little courtyard for afternoon tea .Great value for money and in town so nice to walk around and don’t need to drive, would Recommend as a peaceful, clean , comfortable and very reasonable priced place to stay

If s in town and has everything you need ,very clean and cosy would loved to have stayed longer , lovely host

The motel is in a great location, in the heart of beautiful Richmond, with all the shops and eateries just a few steps away. Free parking. Value for money. Best accommodation in our whole trip to Tasmania.

We didn't have a single issue or problem with anything. It was a very easy, smooth experience and a great place to stay.
