Great stay at Fitzpatrick's, beautiful period building. The information and history available to read was great, I sat up and read it all which definitely made my stay more than memorable. Would have loved to have stayed with the girls when they owned it many many years ago. The beds were very comfortable with the only downside being that the queen size bed was creaky so every time my mum rolled over I woke up ( I am a very light sleeper though. The grounds were amazing and I had a visit from a fat Possum. Would definitely stay again if back in Westbury.

Lovely stay in the heart of Westbury, in a pooch friendly room, 'Frank's Room', on ground level with car parking right outside our door. Our room had a modern 'disability friendly' bathroom with a full compliment of linen, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and heating. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided, along with toaster & microwave. The double bed was quite firm but ok for our one night stay (my partner & I are both older nurses with nurses backs ;). We loved that we could have our 18 mth old English Cocker Spaniel stay in our room, on her own bedding. The garden was expansive, good for exploring with our doggo.

I was very impressed with the wifi. I've never had such good wifi in a hotel/motel/airBnB. I found the room a good size, comfy bed, lovely staff and a very good shower with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately, I had a migraine for some of my stay and was able to be comfortable while I recovered. There are beautiful gardens too, which is a bonus. It feels peaceful even though it's on the main road.

I think a little bit of bench space would be useful - even something on the side of the microwave cupboard that folds down when not in use.

Room was clean, well presented, shower was amazing, great to be able to do self check in and out made arriving easy. The gardens were beautiful and will be happy to come and stay again. This amazing little place is so full of history and beauty, such a wonderful accommodation venue well done to the owners and staff

The only down fall was the restaurant not being open for dinner and having to travel else where nearby there should be updated places recommended in the rooms. The facility that isn't utilized currently would be an amazing asset to re-open to guests and the little town as we noticed there isn't many cafe or places to eat.

Lovely gardens, a real pleasure to just sit outside in the sun in the late afternoon and read. The French doors leading straight out into the gardens were a bonus. Excellent shower! Very pleasant cleaner and owner. Convenient location and interesting history.

Desperately need some more comfortable chairs in the garden. No lockable screen door on the French doors meant that, for security at night, the doors had to be shut and so the room became stuffy. Given that the property is very old, sound insulation is an inevitable problem, but a good night’s sleep is hard when one of the people in the next room coughs and snores all night.

The room, stuck out the back, took us by surprise but we ended up loving it, - peaceful with lovely wintery garden surrounds. The fact that there was NO Reception at all and no other guests at all, also took us very much by surprise but we ended up loving this aspect as well. It was like we were staying in an old, abandoned estate. We ended up staying 2 nights and had a fabulous time exploring Westbury and surrounds.

Loved the chocolate for each guest on arrival. Great kingsized bed, very comfortable. Newly renovated bathroom, really large & practical. Loved the history of the Inn too.

I would love to see the dining area and parts of the Inn opened up to the public so guests could see the glory of the property. (We were in rooms out the back of the Inn.) It would have been nice to have dishwashing facilities in the room and maybe a small table, but it was nice to eat in the gardens which are currently being trimmed & tidied. We wish the owners success gaining council approval to re open dining & drinking facilities.

The staff and owners were wonderful. It was a beautiful historic site so don't expect big and modern. It was clean and comfortable with lovely gardens with great bird watching and it was great value for money.

I wish that we had been when the restaurant was operating as it had great reviews. We ate at the Empire Hotel in Deloriane though and it was great and they also offer a great platypus tour after dinner there.

We loved the old building and garden. Beds were very comfortable and the room was cosy. The hosts weren't on site but texted us a heap of useful information so we knew just what to do

Just a suggestion: provide sponge and dishwashing liquid to wash up crockery after use, and maybe a small fold up table? But there was nothing not to like!

Great historic feel and well located. Room well appointed and bathroom excellent. Exceptionally close to public transport. Bed length was limited for a larger person. There was a lack of room to use appliances for our dinner. The garden was interesting but a little run down. No staff about but we managed to open the lock up box to gain entry
