The location was perfect. “A little slice of heaven”. Very comfortable and very relaxing. Everything was high standard and high quality. Good choices of cereal and a variety of bread and milk. Coffee and tea was plentiful and included plunger coffee. Swimming pool was excellent and heated. (Swimming towel provided) The owners of The Wellington B&B, Bev and Glen were exceptional hosts. 15 mins from Launceston and the beautiful town of Longford was easy access to many other towns. A great place to use as your base for sight seeing many lovely towns and places in this region of Tasmania.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about my stay in The Wellington B&B, Longford.

If anybody wanted an example of how to set up a b&b this is it. Every detail to make your stay comfortable has been thought out carefully. The bedroom is large and bed v comfortable and bathroom also spacious (huge shower cubicle). The pool was heated and a good size for a decent swim. The tv has Netflix and Utube. The bedroom has a good sized sink and plenty of utensils if you wish to bring food in. Great to be able to do our laundry after 2 weeks of travel VERY Highly recommended.

Great communication, making late changes due to delayed flights easy. Everything was spotless and very well presented. Parking is very close with ample lighting making it super easy unpacking and walking to and fro. Breakfast supplied with a variety of options and generous proportions. Upon arrival we immediately wished we had an extra night booked. A very quiet location and close to the airport. So glad we chose this place, we can't wait to get back! Thank you Glen and Bev keep it up 👍

Our short stay :)

The entire property was very beautiful. Our room was more than expected - also very beautiful. Location was great. We needed to be close to the airport which was only 15 minutes away. The location was also great because I like watching birds, and there were many around in the morning, which I loved. We travel to a lot of places and this is certainly one of the very top places we have ever stayed in. The owner was very nice, and was kind to provide breakfast.

Absolutely nothing

Continental breakfast was well thought out. Appreciated the juice and milk provided in nice glass containers and the coffee percolator and ground coffee. Kitchen well equipped. Had a great night's sleep due to the comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom with rain shower and special touches. Overall everything was super clean and fresh. Location was good in a quiet setting and not far to dining options.

Scrupulously clean, from the luxurious white bath towels to the bed lined and kitchenette. Comfortable, roomy set-out and design of this studio apartment. Spacious bathroom with excellent shower, lighting and heating. A wide choice of options for the continental breakfast. Pleasant outlook over the outside patio and pool, as well as easy parking and a separate laundry. Bev was an excellent host and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Not a thing.

Very clean nice room with access to pool, privacy and wonderful shower. Good breakfast. While this is not a hotel, I would have felt fully safe here as a female solo traveller as well. First bit confused when arriving since you park kind of someones yard, but we were warmly welcomed and the two rooms were in a separate building from the main building. We did not test the pool since we stayed only one night here, but it did look very nice. There is lots of attention to detail here, can definitely recommend this place.

For future quests maybe more clear signs to find the property, since we were questioning at first did we have the address right. But that's very minor thing, we enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a wonderful 1-night stay and would have loved to stay longer! Bev was very welcoming and we couldn't have asked for anything more regarding the unit. Overlooking a swimming pool, the unit is one of only two, and well away from the road, so it was private and quiet. The unit, which was very clean and comfortable, was spacious, well designed and everything was modern and high quality. The continental breakfast was amazing! There was so much choice in cereals, spreads and a variety of bread and milk. Coffee and tea was plentiful and included plunger coffee. We were just passing through, on our way to the east coast, but this would be a great place to use as your base for sight seeing in this region of Tasmania.

Everything was perfect!

I loved everything about this property, after long flights back to Launceston it was lovely that the owner stayed up for us to arrive, when it was well past office hours. So kind. The bed was so good to sleep in as well. Very comfortable. I would have liked to stay longer. Will have to book again in the future to enjoy more of this property.

Being my first trip to Tassie I didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Bev was very friendly and welcoming, the room was beautiful, perfectly clean and modern, and I loved the continental breakfast. The pool looks gorgeous and the surrounding green paddocks all created the perfect overnight stay. Thank you, highly recommend!
