Had a good stay at Lake Orchard Villas. The cabin was well equipped in the kitchen, there was enough towels and plenty of bathroom amenities. We were staying with our baby so we didn’t use the upstairs area and used the arm chair to block the stairway so that he didn’t climb up there. The upstairs is a loft with additional beds. It was very close to town and the Lake House Spa. We didn’t go to the spa as it wasn’t child friendly but we had a meal at the Daylesford Hotel and Cliffy’s and both offered high chairs for our little one. We went to the Amazing Mill Markets which fits a pram in the aisles, the Chocolate Mill was also pram friendly and we drove over to the Creswick Wool Mill which was also pram friendly inside. There was also an outdoor area with farm animals for the children to explore. Mt Franklin is close by and good for picnics with children. The lake is right near the accomodation and has a walking track. A few sections were difficult with a pram. It can be really hard finding baby friendly activities but we had enough to do to fill 3 days and 2 nights.

The property was spotless, the linen lovely and the bed very comfortable. Lovely little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Walking distance to town (a little uphill walk), very close to Daylesford lake and at the back gate of the Lake House.

The shower is over the bath, which is a corner spa bath. Unfortunately the water from the shower goes all over the floor, making it quite slippery.

key to front door and back door very hard to use. back door wouldn't close/lock properly. felt like we could have problems getting in at late hours and unsafe as it could be pushed open even when "locked and closed". there was a rug in the living room we kept tripping on, especially middle of the night to use bathroom. appeared taped down for some time now. would highly recommend replacing rug for liability and potential injury with future guests.

Villa was good very comfortable

The aircondioner wasn't cooling the room at first,until l cleaned the filters then it was good, also the outdoor setting out the back door was covered in dust ,so we cleaned it,, the heater is good but found it's very hot to touch,even when it's in full use and very hot to touch to turn off , if you had a young child would be dangerous

This was my second stay here and once again, it was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the decor was very pleasing to the eye! The beds, sofa and armchairs were all extremely comfortable too! The villa provided everything we needed, from extra toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom...to salt, pepper, olive oil, foil, gladwrap, detergent in the kitchen. It was well equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, microwave, kettle and toaster too! Everything one needs to enjoy a few relaxing days in beautiful Daylesford!!! Thank you...😍

The only thing we did not enjoy was the noise of bottles being collected at 7am and the morning traffic. As the Villas are located close to the main road, this is inevitable. However, this would not determine me from rebooking again at this beautiful location!

The location was amazing!!! Super close (200m walk) to Lake Daylesford & The Boathouse restaurant & Walter’s Cafe

There were a few missing tiles in the bathroom & cracks in the wall behind the bathroom cabinet, the paint job was a little off in the bathroom too. There was also no oven to use, just a stovetop & microwave so if you’re staying a couple of nights, maybe BYO air fryer if you plan on staying in & cooking & not going out every night

The location was very central - close to the Main Street and also the lake. The whole house was set up very nicely.

It’s just a little something. As we decided to dine ‘in’ and cook our meals at home. The varieties of kitchen utensils were quite minimal - especially there were 2 bread knives only, which was a bit hard for us to cut the veggies etc. If you could have more varieties, the place would be even more perfect!

The lockbox to collect and return the key was very easy and a fantastic idea! The house was beautiful, with beautiful plants and flowers outside. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed at this location because we attended a wedding at the venue next door and we couldn’t believe how close and easy it was to get there! In the morning we took Angela’s advice and went down to the lake and bought a coffee from Walter’s and took in the gorgeous views of the lake. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing warmth from the fire place. Super comfortable beds. Great interiors. Location perfect for walking to town. Very quiet and private. Spa bath was awesome !!

Little bit tired- needs maintenance- tile missing in bathroom, kitchen cupboards loose. Dustpan was broken.

We loved staying at the Lake Orchard Villas. We had a separate bedroom to a cosy living area and a very generous spa bath in the well-equipped bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed in order to cook and have some meals there, complete with a coffee machine and dish washer. It was only a short walk to the main street of Daylesford so we felt secluded but not out of reach.

We genuinely liked everything! The only thing I would suggest is maybe some robes and slippers, as it gets really cold in the winter months there.
